“Items delivered looked nothing like those advertised. Really poor quality. Easy returns are to pay £136 to return two rugs which cost £139 each ---to Switzerland. Do not use under any circumstances -not a UK Company but based in US. Avoid at all costs”

“I wish I had read all these reviews before I bought my rug for £219. Within months my vibrant coloured rug faded so badly, it now looks dull and lifeless and only fit for the bin. Company doesn’t want to know, they state ‘colourfast’ so they are in the wrong. Also I thought they were based in the UK, another lie. Don’t buy from this company, you’d be better off buying cheap from Homebase or B & Q”

“The rug arrived in good time but was very inferior for the price so I asked to return it, this is where it gets difficult you can only return to Switzerland or US at your own cost. I was quoted £79 by the company so I arranged postage myself at £34. If I had known this I never would have used this company, I have ordered many rugs from Wayfair at much better quality and prices and confident I could return if needed. Please be warned that this company is not a good one in my opinion.”

“Poor quality and hugely overpriced. I tried to return the rug but would have had to pay postage to a warehouse in either USA or Switzerland. If iRugs arranged the return the postage cost came to 50% of the purchase price. I was offered a 50% discount as an incentive to keep the rug. Obviously this is why their products are overpriced. As the URL had a .co.uk suffix I didn't think to check the return destination.”

“Do not use this Company, bought three rugs to view £667.00 non suitable to return cost is £224.00 to Switzerland!! Not UK . Be careful not a reputable company.”

“The products are of very poor quality, don't match the pictures shown on their website and don't worth the price at all. Especially, one of the rugs has defects(see the attached photos, piles are very loose and some piles are missing). It's very light, looks and feels like a blanket, is very wrinkled, it's not usable at all. Their website is really misleading. The products I received are far away from the pictures. The pictures look good, but the products totally different. Also, the website implies it's a local store but it's not. The free delivery on the website implies we don't need to worry about delivery costs. But turned out if we return we need to pay a lot of money for the return.”

“Totally agree with reviews I wish I had read before purchasing.Had to pay postage to return rug as it didn't suit.I was offered ridiculous keep and have a partial refund or keep and have a discount on my next purchase !! No they didn't get it - the rug wasn't suitable so I wanted to return .Returned and still waiting for a refund which will be £89 - £22 postage to return .Customer service isn't up to speed.Better not to use this company unless you are sure that the rug is the right one”

“Do not buy at any cost. Shocking quality. Claim their carpet retailed for £530. Really. I bought it for 230 and I feel cheated, I pity the poor sod that paid 530. Edges will not stay down and there are two permanent ridges. This is a cowboy operation that needs investigation. Avoid at all costs.”

“Do NOT buy from this company !! Spent over £400 on a rug . It is the worst quality rug I have ever seen . Nothing like it was advertised. They will do anything to get out of refunding you and make you pay for returns. Put a claim in with the credit card company instead . Rude. Unhelpful. Not worth £50 from a market stall , never mind £400 !!!!”

“Pathetic , bought a shag pile rug £128 and my bathroom mat is a higher quality. Contacted customer service and still getting the same nonsense from them! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Stephen Higgins”

“I wanted to give ‘0’ stars but there was no option. Rug was hideous & cost £179. They offered me a refund of £30 (wtf???) and told me it would cost £22 to ship it back to them. So £8 refund for me. What a scam company- how can they get away with it???”

“Also wish I had read the reviews, as I thought it was a UK company this is very misleading .my rugs are both faulty and certainly not worth the money .waiting on getting a reply from Irugs . On a positive note they did arrive on time but not the quality I expected as as other people said to send them back will cost more money”

“Gosh I wish I'd read all these comments… Gosh I wish I'd read all these comments before purchasing. Exactly what everyone else said -- hard to communicate with company, which are based in US but try to imply they are based in UK. My order took an extra 3 weeks to arrive! communication was poor. and get this, they routed my rug from US to UK VIA CHINA. why!? The rug itself is okay, nothing that special and maybe not worth the price I paid, but of course I will keep it because returns are so expensive and ridiculous.”

“Ditto Ditto Ditto. This company is/should be investigated under state law as its sending faulty/wrong stock. We ordered a £400 rug, sent completely the wrong one, said we could keep it and then would send a replacement. Customer services (Latoya) doesnt answer phone or emails. Have made a claim via Paypal but also talking to North Carolina state departments.”

“Dreadful experience with this company. Received faulty rug and they wouldn't pay for the return. They blocked my emails when I complained. I spent nearly £200 for a product not fit for purpose. Shocking!”
