“My purchase experiences with the Japan Centre have always been good. The products are of high quality and they were delivered within the indicated timeframe. However, although the online range of products appears to be quite extensive at first glance, I found that in the food-and-drink categories I was browsing, many of the products were actually out-of-stock, and so the actual range of choices was smaller than initially anticipated.”
“The food I bought was tasty and packed well, however I’m disappointed that the expiration dates were quite close for the food I wanted to stock for a while. I now have to rush to consume by the dates.”
“Excellent source of my favourite tea. Lots of choice and these little pyramid bags are great. However I’m upset to find that my favourite ‘go to’ Sencha matcha green tea bags - pack of 100 has now been out of stock for weeks if not months. When will these come back in stock please ? I use them quite literally all the time. Thank you”
“A great selection of Japanese groceries for those that have lived in Japan and miss the food. Also kimchi and natto which I use regularly for the health benefits.”
“I like the Japan Centre but the loose leaf Sencha tea I picked isn't very good. It has a very strange bluish green colour to it which I am not used to and the taste was not so nice.”
“Easy navigation and informational online store. Prompt delivery. I ordered items as a gift to someone and they reported satisfaction with quality also.”
“Great natto, classic and familiar to many Japanese homes. I personally find this particular brand to have a stronger/bolder flavour of shoyu (soysauce) compared to some others.
Includes both the shoyu and spicy mustard - as expected.
Delivery came with dry ice packaging which kept it cold -- it included instructions for handling as well, so that was nice too.
I typically put them in the freezer and just transfer to the fridge when I know I want to eat it the next day, so they last super long in my experience.”
“I was was happy to have found somewhere in England that stocks these fab rice crackers that I had enjoyed in a trip to Japan recently.
I ordered 5 packs of the 130g snacks.
Post was too expensive really for these tiny snacks and we cannot afford to order more.
We presumed from the photos of product on your website that these heavenly snacks would be the same size as sold in 7-11 convenience stores.
Perhaps your photos need to show how tiny they are in reality.”
