About JENZA:

Who is JENZA? Can I trust them? And why don’t you ever answer our calls? (Mum??). So, (mostly) legit questions to ask before you book. JENZA is the travel love child of USIT and BUNAC – two originals of the work and travel world founded by students in 1959 and 1962. Yep, we’re old AF. But with that, comes a ton of wise old owl expertise and trust. Basically, these chaps may be so new they chafe – but it’s not our first rodeo. Working as one global team, JENZA has the backing of 65+ years of work abroad experience, but has been built for today’s travellers. Shaped by our Youth Advisory Panel and given the stamp of approval by our roadtesters, it’s all in our logo: You Shaped Travel.

“I can recommend Jenza for people who are anxious about their working holiday. They hold your hand in the beginning, with your airport shuttle and hostel stay all taken care of. The information they provide in the first days is quite valuable. And the fact that I can contact them during my entire working holiday gives me peace of mind.”

“A little bit on the pricier side, however, the info, communication, and experience is worth it. They answered any questions I had and helped me walk through the process of getting on my feet with accommodation, job seeking, figuring out bank and tax details, and transportation. Met some really cool people through the way aswell. I am American, and I met people from Germany, Switzerland, UK, Brazil, and of course the local Kiwis.”

“The orientation days from JENZA were really helpful and very well organized. It was great to have this group of people that also did the orientation to explore Auckland. This way you have this little community where everyone is in a similar situation as you which gives you a lot of comfort and a chance to make new friends. All the information and advice that we received was very helpful as well and made me feel very secure and reassured. The people from JENZA were also very kind and empathetic which added to the comfortable atmosphere.”

“Booking my trip with JENZA was really helpful because in the orientation days provide a lot of information about how to find a job or to buy a van. I would recommend it to everyone not just because of the good service but also of the new people you can met in the organisation. The best thing is that you have a 24/7 number to call if something is wrong.”

“I recommend it for solo travellers. You meet people in the group and make new friends. Everyones in the same boot so you dont feel lost or alone. The leaders were super friendly and welcoming. You get details about things you wouldnt think about for example about water safety.”

“They were really helpfull and kind. Open for every question. It felt good to have the first days figured out and not have to plan too much. And it's great to have the backup through the whole adventure if anything is wrong or you need help.”

“I chose this organization and it was the right decision. The people are really kind and always open to help you. We had meetings where they told us about all the important things you need to know about travelling across New Zealand. They also planned great activities to get to know each other better or to see some beautiful places of Auckland. They also provided a privat session to get all your questions answered. However their organization was a bit chaotic at the beginning, yet I would definitely recommend this organization. It was the right choice!”

“I would definitly recommend Jenza. Although the email communication was occasionally a bit chaotic and i had to arrange the transfer from the airport to the hotel myself, the time on-site was absolutely amazing. Lots of useful information, friendly people and always someone to reach out to.”

“Shontelle did a very good job. The presentation she gave was very informative and helpful. The transfer from the airport to the hostel was easy. However, the pre departure emails were very chaotic and the meeting before departure was not transparent unable to attend and could only ask my questions by email. But the days with the organization were great.”

“Shantelle was a very kind and helpful host. She gave us lots of useful tips,such as the best ways to find work, where to enjoy the best activities, and what to watch out for or avoid in New Zeeland. “The orientation was better than I could have hoped for. All my questions were answered and I am way more confident about my travels compared to before. Everyone was really nice and helpful and I can only recommend doing an orientation week if you are travelling alone and are not sure about your plans yet.”
