“Order came with no flowers in bloom - all heavily pruned back. Some have started to bud - some have not. Would have preferred if the plants were in flower like the photos online - or at least in bud. Staff member I spoke to, Oliver, was very nice & helpful.”

Hi Maedbh, thanks for the review. The photos are to show what the flowers will be like in the summertime so you can look forward to a lovely display of blooms in July/August :)

“Overall, I was very happy with the service. There was 1 slight problem, in that a small branch of the Chaenomeles had been broken off, but it shouldn't affect the viability of the plant. That said, the order was delivered within 48 hours, the plants seem very healthy, so I would certainly order from you again.”

“On the 12th April I ordered one pack of Supernemo,reference order number jgc31173. Regrettably it is still not arrived I.e today is 18th April ? Other than this experience I am very pleased with the garden centre.”

Hi George Thank you for your email. Supernemos are dispatched directly from the lab every week on Monday to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday which means yours will be delivered tomorrow or Wednesday. You recieved the dispatch email as we had marked the order as completed on our side and sent it to the laboratory. Apologies for the confusion.

“You are perfectly working plant nursery. It's pretty hard to find anything to fix, but I do have something which did effect my idea how professional your nursery is. It's the information what you are writing about every plant on your internet page. It is necessary to write at least the basic information of the plant, height, width, spread, planting deepness, sun/shade, acidic soil plaa plaa plaa in under the plant. And it seems like unnecessary thing to do, when you are talking about bedding plants (everybody know how high petunia grows) or so on familiar plants, but it is still necessary to have those basic things. Maybe just to show that you are ready to offer even that little bit of information to your customer. Your competitor Irish Plant Direct has that information in every of their plant even that they are cheaper and lower quality nursery. Please have a look and see how they have it. It does not need to be any long essays of the plant. And I do know that from some of the plants you do have very good and beautifully written information. It is very nice to read them, because you can see that somebody really knows the plant and wants to share about it. When I'm buying plants I do google the plant and find information about it and it's habit from many pages anyway so this didn't really effect my shopping experience, but I did find it peculiar that you are so near PERFECTION and then that kind of basic thing is missing. I know that it is lots of work which you do want to spend nursing the plants instead which is much better for everybody, but you did want to hear my opinion. And adding to that...This is just a small little thing. You are PERFECT in so many another ways and your internet page is very beautiful and totally addictive shopping experience. Hard to keep my shopping basket small when I would have LOVED to fill football pitch with your plants :D And all the plants which I got were in their happiest mood to grow. Quality of them was staggering!!! I planted my little fuchsia plugs into bigger pots and could swear that they were double the size in the next day!!! So THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH of your nursery!!! You are doing absolutely EXCELLENT work!!!”

Thank you so much for your wonderful review Satu. We will take all of your comments on board. We currently have over 2000 different plants online, so to get each plant's exact information up would take months of dedicated time. We try to include it on most products but we have an online chat option to use if you ever need additional information about a particular plant. Thank you again for choosing Johnstown :)
