I am at the Cafe in Johnstown it is 11:39am Friday. Tge queue is very long with people ordering full meals. I want a coffee, the barista area is quiet. I went directly to the barista area and skipped the full meal area. I was told to go to the back of the queue in order to get a coffee. I stood at the end of the queue...the coffee serving area was still quiet. I left. I have been an almost daily customer. That's in the past now. What a mess!

We have Covid 19 regulations in place for a very good reason and when in the store you must follow them.

Very dissapointed with delivery ,at the delivery day I wasn't home, I back 5 mins later, no ring no message left that my order came. After that He should live my item at the post centre,then I could collect myself,but no he was driving with my plants all day and I was waiting at home witch I could collect them in the morning.After call to him from another post man met in my area,he promised he will be back at the end of the day,but he never back,left my box in post office,then I had to go and pic up after waiting for them all day. Cavan An Post dont care,they treat all orders the same,my plants its not the same like letters could be in the car all day and were in the box few days, thrown few times in and out the car. DPD couriers at least ring if you not at home give alternative options where to live order ,because some people working and cant be home all the time.Very bad experience.

Hi Renata, I am sorry that you had problems with your local delivery postman. This issue is outside our control unfortunately. They have so many parcels to deliver that they cannot go back to the post office each time someone is not at home to leave it there, they can only do this at the end of the day. People not at home is the biggest problem with online home delivery. The plants are dormant now and would have no problems being in a box for a few days at this time of the year.

I haven't receive my item yet. They trier to deliver it last thurs but I said to wait for me for 5 minutes. Delivery man left. Didnt deliver my item last friday and today. Hope you can do something about it. Thank you.

Service was excellent. Roses came well packed and all ín good condition. Howeverwhat you did not tell us was, while the blooms are magnificent, the stems can't carry them and they sag to the ground. Also the blooms do not last long and are not really suitable for cut ting for indoors. We were away for a week recently and on our return the bed was a sorry sight: stems sagging over blown blooms scattering their petals over the grass. We are so disappointed in general with thes rses Regards Martin Sheridan

HI Martin, These are young plants from the greatest Rose Breeder in the world and the weather has been awful with heavy rain. No young rose can hold up a large flower when it is full of rain. These rose bushes will get better and stronger each season as they develop. Roses need regular deadheading. remove all flowers gone off and going off and many more will keep growing throughout the season. Deadhead before the petals fall ideally and pray for some nice weather.

I was expecting small bags of wheatgrass seeds to grow to juice but I got a packet of seeds for a garnish. I'm a bit disappointed to be honest...I should have looked closer at the label etc. MY OWN FAULT!

Poor customer service doesn't inform you only when receiving part of an order you have to ring yourself to check doesn't take heed of your emails advertising products on website that are not available Delivery options poor no time frame given

You got everything you ordered, except 1 plant which sold out. We did everything we could to source it for you elsewhere. All emails were answered. Your order was all sent out together in multiple packages. We would not be aware if a package was separated by the courier and sent in a different van.

-Most certainly won’t buy from them again. -Plants were like small cuttings. -Didn’t get what I ordered. -No communication received when some plants were sold out even though charged for them , was not informed if being refunded or plants were to follow later. - 6 not ordered plants sent to replace 6 plants they had not in stock again no communication, with out oking it with me first. - When I phoned customer services the guy there only made excuses which left things worse. - Only positive comment I can make is plants were well packaged. This is my reply to comments made by Johnstown Garden centre which did not appear on their page. I received an email from you requesting me to write a review. When you didn’t like what I had to say you insulted me by saying that I might be mixing you up with someone else. I have the paperwork and plants that say otherwise. Again the packaging was excellent.

HI Rita, You might be mixing us up with someone else. We supplied all your order plants except 2, 1 Rudbeckia @ €4 and 1 Phlox @ €3. These were marked on your paperwork as refunded . All plants were pot grown plants at least a year old and not rooted cuttings. No plants were sent that were not ordered. You might just check this again

The company supplies excellent plants that thrive. Unfortunately, they use Fastway as a courier, who are at best unreliable (and that's being polite). The courier has no contact phone, gives no delivery window, and uses poorly treated franchisees who are not only not held to account but don't give two hoots about faking signature or dropping in a random location. There is a reason that an Irish company cannot find a good review for its primary courier on an Irish website. So, great garden centre, worry about delivery.

Hi, Unfortunately this was an issue with your local Fastway driver and is not generally our experience with this company as our fantastic review score will attest to. My pots came completely rusted, the soil had all fallen out which meant I had to re plant them. I was gave them 2 days to send my new pots. They still haven't come. The pots were dirty and covered in sand. I wont be using this company again. Regards Gabriella

Hi Gabriella, Apologies for this issue, The plants came straight off the delivery truck and into a box for you. We were not aware of the issue at the time. We immediately sent you replacement pots, which I see were in fact delivered this morning

In general I was not impressed with the quality of most of the plants I received, they looked like they belong in the bargain section rather than be sold at full price. The Polemonium Brize is covered in powdery mildew, the Aloe Plicatilis is slanting to one side and most of it’s leaves are looking horrid, the Yucca Purpurea looks like it’s been dragged through the hedge backwards, it seemed that the worst plants were specially chosen for my order. I can go on and on, I am sure by now you know that I am not a happy customer .

Two of the items were not delivered and the items that did arrive took a long time to deliver. Had I known when ordering that they did not have the items I ordered I would not have completed the order.

I ordered two plants on line. The following morning I saw the identical plants for sale in a local garden centre for €20 less per plant. I tried to get through to Johnstown Garden Centre to cancel the order and couldn't. The plants arrived, approximately 1 week after ordering, and were smaller than the ones in the local garden centre and the tops of the leaves were curling upwards indicating that the plants were drying out.

No idea why a simple order for plants took so long to dispatch. Then, Johnstown left delivery to the totally inept An Post who never notified me of failed delivery. No docket was left, no email was received. I emailed Johnstown who said my plants were at the Dublin 7 An Post depot, impossible to find an address for on the internet by the way. The plants have been in the depot over the long weekend in 22' heat. Not watered or cared for. Pathetic all round.
