I tried restarting my meds after a six month hiatus. Once I tried reactivating my account with Weight Watchers.com and kept receiving error messages. I called them several times explaining this and they said I needed to speak to my care team. Care team were men that kept saying I needed to reactivate. It never worked and I'be been on computers from the age of 7. Horrible service.

My experience started off well in April. After paying for the first month they took about 2 weeks to confirm my insurance and start prescribing Zepbound. They incrementally increased my dose of the months and I lost 35 lbs. The response was great. I had major side effects on the 10mg and a new care provider took me back down to the starter dose without any plan after that. Even the pharmacy questioned it. The responsiveness from the care team after 7 months is terrible and they only seem to respond after they take my payment. The provider won't communicate in real-time Even if you immediately respond to a message. I think it's time to find another provider. I feel like this is a money grab. They're only sending a prescription to my pharmacy and I'm paying for that outside of WW. The dosage change now has me gaining weight and I can't get a decent response from anyone on next steps. Buyer beware.

I signed up before WW took over. The service was impeccable and quick. However, I’ve noticed that now I am a legacy customer, the service has gone downhill. I end up having to repeat what I’m asking to my Care coordinator multiple times over the course of several days, so nothing happens quickly. It wasn’t like this before. Now I feel like I need to confirm and verify fourth times before anything actually happens. I end up copying multiple messages and sending them back to my coordinator. Plus, I’m not really sure what I’m paying money for? I don’t see them working that hard for me outside of the initial getting the insurance coverage. I am rethinking my membership. And I can’t help but think that everything went downhill when they were taken over by a larger group. Shame on you WW .

Everything was fine until my insurance requires a 90 day subscription. Several chats latter I am told: "This is our policy." I asked to see the change in their policy and was not provided it, nor does their website say anything about restricting prescription duration. Additionally, constantly chatting became a nuisance.

I really think it is unethical to start people on medication that you KNOW you will never be able to stock. I am paying out of pocket for my ZEPBOUND plus a $90 per month WW fee all the while you knew there was a shortage from the beginning yet still suggested it. I have had great results with this medication but now I can’t get it anywhere. I certainly cannot up my doses as is intended. There was a care coordinator who spoke openly on another forum and said that you are all well aware of this situation but basically can do nothing to help. That is deceptive. When you cannot get the medication YOU suggested you should refund or at the very least pause the monthly fee until you are able to deliver. Obesity is a serious issue for people enough so that we are willing to pay nearly $650 a month and you are taking advantage of some very desperate people. It’s downright despicable.

The real problem is that the prescription weight loss medications are not available. I have paid for 9 months of the Sequence Subscription, but have received only 3 months on medication. I suggest going to a clinic that administers the medication in their office. Communication with Sequence was always pretty good and quite responsive. Always apologetic for the lack of availability of the medication, but had no solutions. They suggested trying a different medication, but my research indicated that none were readily available. The good news is that I lost about 18 pounds, but sadly, I am cancelling my subscription to Sequence because I am not able to get medication through them.

So the program works well….if you use your local pharmacy. I made the mistake of trying to switch to shipping because during Christmas it was going to be more convenient. That shipment was late, and I went without meds for 3 days. The following month I specifically request (thru the refill screen) to refill with my local pharmacy. They send my RX to their pharmacy and will not write me a new one. This shipment was also late, and I went without my medication for 5 days! In the app it specifically says to request your refill 7 days in advance, but you really need to do it at least two weeks in advance.

Their system is completely asinine. If you need help you have to message the care coordinator who is always off that day. And then you have to wait two days for a response. Then when they finally get back to you they just tell you that they will ping the person you really need to speak and it takes another two days for that person to get back to you. So you are four days in waiting for a response, when it finally comes and they ask you a question even though you answer immediately you have to go thru the same ridiculousness and wait another four days for a response! 😡😡😡😡😆

Way too many hoops and redundancy. Most of these should have been expained at the beginning of the process, especially the fact that they don't honor Medicare supplemental benefits. This limited my choices down to two medications or pay out great sums of money. I'm very dissapointed to say the least.Lots of time wasted for no reason.

Not a fan, I hear people talk about thier care team. The only thing I get is what appears to be scripted answers since it’s literally verbatim in my messages. I don’t think I’ve ever had a conversation with anyone. It’s basically a service you pay too much for to get you an insurance prior auth for meds you may or may not ever get filled.

The one problem that sequence has is their response time. No matter what question you have it takes them 48 hours to respond. And if they respond with a question and you respond right away, it’s at least another 48 hours for another response and it goes on and on. My daughter had the same issue…very frustrating!

Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with Sequence. We are sorry to hear that the response time has been an issue for you and your daughter, and we are eager to work on your feedback to make sure we can provide higher standards. We'll pass this feedback along to our customer service team and see what we can do to improve.

I gave them two stars because an admin responds. They ask you a question and you respond right away and then it takes them another 24 hours to respond so it’s too frustrating when there are so many other options. I’m not even sure if I’ll get the initial $49 and I didn’t have a true consultation but I’m definitely not going to pay monthly for that type of service and don’t want to take a chance that it takes them month of free trial to get the program started.

One month and a week and still no med. Stuck paying two more months and get nothing out of this. Frustrated for sure.

Hi Laura, thanks for reaching out. if you signed up for a 3-month billing cycle plan at checkout and are facing shortages or issues picking up your prescribed medication, you can get evaluated for one of the medications that are do not have shortages, ask your Care Team to pause your membership, or cancel your membership and terminate your contract early due to shortages. Please reach out to hello@joinsequence.com for more help.

I signed up for Sequence in July and the process has been painfully slow. It takes days to get a response, sometimes more than a week. After finally being informed that I qualified for Wegovy under my insurance and that the prescription had been sent out, I was told at CVS that not only is it under backorder but my insurance doesn't cover it. Why was I given false information?

Not much customer service except pretty much emailing from what I can only assume is a script. Very disappointed.

Hi, so sorry to hear about your experience. We'd be happy to look into your Care Tam's communication. If that's something you're interested in, can you please email hello@joinsequence.com?

I find the time delay in responding to be really excessive. I would not join this service if I was not already in the plan.

I had high hopes for Join Sequence and was very excited to begin my journey. While I was initially able to get a prescription for Wegovy, it was not covered by my insurance--I did get the coupon, but the price for Wegovy was still around $1,000 per month. This is not the problem, though. I was happy with the results from the prescription, in tandem with my own diet and exercise routine. However, I could not continue to pay $1,000 per month. Sequence tried prescribing a few other GLP1s and all were declined by my insurance. I took a break from Join Sequence because of this. I returned to Join Sequence after receiving both a PCOS and prediabetes diagnosis from my OB/GYN and PCP, respectively. I need help and am doing the best I can on my own. This time, I suggested Ozempic, given my recent diagnoses. Sequence submitted a prior authorization which was declined immediately, and they happily charged me a $90 subscription fee for nothing (all of the other options had already been declined and the only available option would interact with a medication I already take). The reason that I am so dissatisfied, other than wasting so much money, is because when I went to my PCP for my annual, my PCP was able to get me Ozempic fully covered by insurance. My PCP had the same exact information available to her that Sequence had available to them. To reiterate--Sequence did not spend time "advocating" for me and was unable to get anything covered by insurance. Yet, my PCP was able to have it covered by insurance within 24 hours. There is no patient advocacy in Join Sequence and they are happy to take your money while providing no customer service. Unless you have a concrete Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis and/or aren't interested in GLP1s, don't bother with this company and just make an appointment with your PCP.

Let me start by saying I had great results with Mounjaro. The staff was always great but I scored this low because it was always a challenge to get the prescriptions from the pharmacy. I spent hours every month trying to get Sequence and the pharmacy synced to get the discounted price. I guess the team at sequence decided that they didn’t want to help any longer and deleted me from their account. This is great but be prepared to spend 5 to 7 hours a month going back and forth to get the prescriptions.
