Poor Customer Care. This is a company that does not care about its customers or their feedback. After my recent experience today I am struggling to see the point of having stores and it absolutely does not surprise me that Joules has had troubles resulting in a takeover. What is the point in a store? Firstly the store does not carry Size 6 items. I am not a size 6 but having recently tried on a trench, the 8 was rather large and to ensure I have absolutely the correct size and fit I like to try 'side by side' at no extra cost or inconvenience to me - the customer. Many brands offer an option to get items in for you to try but not this one I'm told - the result? I'll just shop with brands that make it easy for me to find my perfect fit. Given the sizing is so way out (I'm ranging from a Size 6 to a Size 10 across the Joules range) - its not possible for me to order multiple sizes with the hassle of returning not least the upfront expense. I REFUSE to shop like this. I only shop with companies that make it EASY TO SHOP with them!!!! So, today I had a large shopping list 2 trousers, shirt, jumper, trench, blazer. No sizes in stock for me at the store and won't get the sizes into store for me next week instead they send me away to order effectively online or inshore i.e. at cost. This is not practical or ideal. So, I simply don't have time to faff so I will go else where to a country brand that can order into store for me to try on in a relaxed manner ensuring I get the right fit. This is so important and when sizing is so different across the range its also essential! Why should I as a customer 'make do'?? So, you've lost a large sale due to inflexibility. I actually called customer service and they told me to go into store and ask for the sizing to be delivered, but it seems this was not the correct advice and no they cannot do this you need to 'order' - in which case what is the point in having a store? No wonder the high street is dead and brands are dead! Costing people jobs! Its about time retail became about the customer again. There are still a few brands out there that are still making it about the customer but sadly Joules isn't one of them. So disappointed and annoyed. I simply wanted you to get a 6 and 8 into store in a. trench for me to try side by side. There are no size 8's in anything in store - plenty of 14 - 18 that no one ever buys and just sit there while everyone is trying to get a smaller size!!

Placed an order on 15th Aug, was told it could take a couple of weeks. Tracking link showed up as a suspicious link but I looked it up anyway. It's been through goodness knows how many stages & has been shown as out for delivery for the past 3 days. Emails have been totally ignored. Am going to contact my bank to make sure they can't scam me out of any more money. I'm 72, & my basic state pension does not cover this kind of appalling business

My worst ecommerce experience, ordered Apr 9th, shipped Apr 20th, 4 AWB and still not delivered on May12th... Shipment from UK to SP. Customer service useless and inefficient. I wonder how we are going to close this file!

The new owner/management of the company has ruined a great brand. Their new customer service is the worst. Last month I ordered 3 clothing items from the US website. When the package arrived, two of the items were way too big (I believe one was even mislabeled with the incorrect clothing size). Returns used to be easy with the shipping label included. However, in my past 3 orders, return labels have been missing. I tried communicating to them via email, Facebook and finally chat today. They claim that as of March 2023, returns are no longer free to the United States and customers are required to ship back returns at their own cost to a UK address return center address. What happened to the US return center in Florida? It will cost a small fortune just to return two items. They need to make this clear on the order confirmation page or have an alert at the top of the site that this policy has changed. There wasn’t any language about this new return policy on the order confirmation page. If there had been, I wouldn’t have ordered. Instead, this language is hidden in the new terms and conditions. I have been a loyal customer for many years, but I will no longer order from a deceptive company that cares little for customers. Shame on the new owner/management of Joules!

Horrendous customer service. As in non-existing. No responses whatsoever. Ended up costing us $200 in lost merchandize that we can't seem to recover

I have ordered from Joules for a number of years now and have always found deliveries to be excellent. Their garments arrive beautifully packaged. Their clothes are of excellent quality, beautifully made, good fit with lovely colour choice.

I ordered off joules for the first time not realizing that some items were being sold via a 3rd party. The quality of the items was very good however the customer service was poor and exasperating. BEFORE YOU PURCHASE READ THE POLICY FOR GOODS SOLD ON THE SITE BY A THIRD PARTY, this company has the same set up as amazon. I bought a coat that was actually from Joules with their logo on return and reimbursement was quick and smooth I paid £79 for a pair of boots which I returned on 17th Jan and thank god kept the PO tracking receipt. By the 30th Jan I had not received a refund or acknowledgement that the company (Joules) had received them, ultimately the chat advisor said it was my fault because I had returned them to Joules in err rather than the 3rd party seller, Bareback something or other. When I did return them I used the returns label that came with the item so I don't believe that to be true. By this time I had already waited 2 weeks for my money back so..... she then says that they will have to package them up and send them on to the 3rd party seller and it will take another 2 weeks to be reimbursed - a month to get my money back

Got a bargain when I ordered the Joules Collete Wellies which were in the sale at £19.95 instead of £79. Chanced a Size 3 at this price as no size 4 left, even though I tend to get a 4 in wellies, but the 3 fits perfectly..... Snug but this is how I like wellies and great with the side zip. The suede tassle at the top of the zip really gives these wellies a more sophisticated look and the fact you get a different coloured tassle too is a bonus. Very warm and stylish wellies. Always bought Hunter Wellies in the past, but I've found some I love even more in these. Highly recommend!

I placed my first order with Joules before Christmas 2022. I actually looked at Trustpilot before I ordered too and all of these reviews are pushed down to the bottom. Very sneaky! On Joules page it states that “orders delivered in 7 business days” in a large banner which is not true. They also have learned how to make it look like they have scanned a package with the courier service when it is not shipped. The couriers are “waiting for receipt of package” when you reach them DIRECTLY. Do not take Joules word for it. I am not a sucker customer. I have already filed a dispute. I don’t know how much longer they can keep taking money from people who are not getting anything in return. It’s obvious that this business is faltering. Don’t order anything through this company until they get their business in order. Queries are ignored via email and you are read the false pre-label scans via telephone support. There’s nothing on its way. By the time you would receive it, it would be longer than allotted time for returns if you need to exchange. Bad business ethics are being practiced here.

I have been waiting 5 weeks for my items from Joules. Still have received nothing. Have emailed them twice and received nothing but an automated response. Terrible customer service. I will never buy from them again.

Buyer beware. The items purchased were large, so I returned in the original shipping bag with the return label that Joules provided. I also included the return paperwork, filled out as requested. It has been a month since it was posted to USPS. There has been no contact from Joules stating that they received the package nor any refund. The customer service is an email. You cannot speak to anyone. There is no documentation online that a return was made. So, essentially they have stolen my money and got their clothing items back to scam another unknowing shopper. I do not recommend this company.

Placed an order 20/11 told almost immediately that 2 items were out of stock and that I would be refunded. One month later no refund and no response from Joules. It would appear that I am just one of many dissatisfied customers, should this company still be accepting orders and ‘taking’ peoples money?

Placed my order on 29th November, tracking states dispatched. Cannot trace where my order is. When you order their email confirmation states to allow 7days for postal disruption, allowing for that my order is still way overdue. Why send orders by Royal Mail when they know there's a problem. Very disappointed with this service. I wanted my order for next week, wish I hadn't bothered ordering from them.

Checked on Trust pilot and apparently like myself there are loads of customers waiting for their packages to arrive!! We are consistently told the parcels are with Royal Mail even though Royal Mail show they are awaiting the items. In my case they have been waiting apparently for nearly 3 weeks now! Joules just blames it all on the strikes by Royal Mail. Personally do I think I will ever receive my package? No I do not! Had i read reviews earlier I would never have ordered from them! Shame as I have been a loyal customer for years and this was a company even though I knew they were going through difficult times, .I thought were trustworthy. If you are about to place an order, my advice is don't! x

I placed an order in November and sent 3 out of 4 items back only to find out that no refund will be given, just a gift card, even though I paid for my order with a credit card. This is practically theft - they are keeping customers’ money and forcing them to spend it with Joules. Customer service says they are in administration and therefore there is nothing they can do. Absolutely horrible company.

Have failed to fulfil orders - ordered 5 items at cost of £130, two not in stock promised a refund but nothing to date. Third item for friend of Joules, Shu Da Living but have heard nothing at all from either company despite sending emails.Have tried ringing Joules but complete waste of time, just recorded message with no intention of responding.
