“Had two competition tyres fitted to rims, tyres not directional but tread pattern is directionally different and I requested they were fitted the same way round but the fitter got them facing in different directions - it will probably make no difference to the performance. All staff were very pleasant and polite and apart from the above the job was completed very well and in a timely manner.”

“Work done in itself was perfect. However, very shocked and disappointed in the pricing. Not competitive at all. I really felt ripped off. Far more expensive that any of the other tyre- businesses. I find a price of £180 for two tyres a rip-off especially as it is "no-name"/unbranded budget tyres. Only reason I proceeded with the job was that I was in a situation that I did not really have alternative options to go to other places.”

“Quick and great service.Some good advise was also given,however the only downfall were the prices. I needed a tyre quickly as it had burst and had a recovery vehicle take me to the location.Either there wasn't enough selection or the tyre's were very expensive. I have paid half the price at another store...”

“Felt a bit unhappy with the continual upselling of the staff. For only £ 8 tyre more well can offer you.................For only £12 we can balance your wheels............... I think the tyres were good but did not enjoy the process at all.”

“Wanted new tyres on front. Cannot understand why back tyres were put on front and new tyres put on back. I was not happy with this, because back tyres had to be rebalanced. Just a way to make money. Not Happy”

Our staff are highly trained to understand both the requirements of our customers and the best fitment for tyres to their vehicles. Although I am unable to comment on your specific situation as I do not have all the details to hand, I can confirm that the recommendation from both tyre manufacturers and TyreSafe is that it is more beneficial to fit the new tyres to the rear wheels, regardless of whether the vehicle is front or rear drive. Research suggest that if the new tyres are fitted to the rear wheels, water on the road surface is better dispersed, which improves straight line braking ability. I am sorry that this was not communicated to you during your purchase and apologise for any confusion or concern that this has caused and I can assure you that we offer a just and honest service and do not ask our staff to rotate tyres as a way to make money. “I'm an open minded kind of person and been in manual working environments, so I'm used to bad language and am not offended by it. However I woul just like to feedback to you that when I was in the waiting room at the Huntingdon garage, whilst my tyres were being fitted, the language from the guys fitting the tyres was foul. It was a constant barrage if Fs, Cs, Bs. So if someone who was offended had been in the room I think they may have taken exception. Anyway just though I would let you know. Having said that the chap I dealt with on the phone when getting a quote for the tyres was very professional and extremely helpful.”

“I was told that if I found the same tyre cheaper on the internet then the difference would be refunded. Found it considerably cheaper on their on Just Tyres website that evening and was assured a cheque would be sent - twice. They could not refund using the credit card used to pay for it for some reason. Still waiting for cheque three weeks later.....not optimistic... The tyre fitting was fine though.”

“If your staff didn't walk off and try and sell tyres to other people when they have just started work on my car, then not come back for so long that I had started to put the wheel on my self. If it wasn't for the manager who set to and did the job in no time you would have lost a customer.”

“not particularly happy with the overall outcome although the personnel were pleasant they did not seem to listen to to the questions I asked or give me the product I asked for. I went on line before calling into my local branch to see the price of tyres and had in my mind the cost. I was disappointed to then have the fitter tell me I should have a v instead of instead of h this of course put me over budget on the tyres. You have a chart in the work place explaining the meaning of the letters and as I do not exceed 60 mph the h would surely suffice but why have that chart up if the fitters then say that it doesn't count on my car (Peugeot 307) although they did fit an H to my husbands car( Mazda 6) clearly a more powerful car!! So in future I will go elsewhere hopefully I will find a garage who will fit the tyres I request rather than the ones that are more expensive and benefit the garage rather than the customer.”

the speed rating is there for a reason engine size do not matter because if you fit the wrong speed rating your car insurance can become void in a claim if you have a crash

“Service was good ,Staff was excellent. Cannot believe that you can charge £19.69 for a puncture. Needless to say I will not be using Just Tyres again.”
