I came into the hospital today with my mother who recently suffered a heart attack and was sent in by her doctor. Absolutely packed in UTC, what I found on my seat was BLOOD and I don’t mean I drop I mean alot of blood all down the chair. I had to clean it myself as no cleaner was about. Absolutely disgusting

Could not fault the service this evening. Daughter been suffering with chestpains and palpitations so packed a bag and headed for A&E expecting to have to wait for hours and hours. Daughter was triage as soon as we walked in the door and then was seen within 10 mins for an ECG. The lady doing the ECG was so friendly and kind, my daughter was upset and scared and the staff were very reassuring and patient. After ECG The Dr called us in for results within 5 minutes and we were on our way back home all within the hour. Have never had any issues at KGH.

I had to attend for an Angiogram and a TOE test yesterday. The tests were carried out promptly, punctually and most efficiently. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and explained in detail what I could expect. I cannot praise them too highly Thank you team

I was admitted to the Japonica ward of King George’s Hospital, Ilford on 15/10/2023 for knee replacement surgery. The care and kindness of all the staff was amazing.

The staff (nurses and doctors) are pathetic and don't care at all. They are all lazy deadbeats that would be fired in the private sector but can leisurely lounge where they get paid indirectly by the government rather than directly by patients. Can't believe these zombies are striking for more pay..... The NHS is NOT free and is NOT worth the tax my family pays. Should be able to opt out and use that money to go private hospital and GP......

Until I reach to doctor all the staff seem to be robotic. Doctor dealt so nicely with me. He listened to me with full concentration. I’m very happy with doctor and with staff who did my ecg and X-ray as well. Waiting time was a bit less than previous experiences.

I was admitted to japonica ward for knee replacement on 17/1/23 and what a pleasant experience it was from start to end. Everyone and everything was excellent. Couldn’t have received better care if I had gone private. Home the next day too. Thank you all.

Disgusted at what my parents have gone through in the past 7 weeks. My dad has been admitted 5 or 6 times with cellulitis in his leg. They discharge him because they need the beds, home for a couple of days each time and then admitted again. He is totally confused, delerious, hallucinating. Yet today 2 consultants and the sister of Beech Ward have been rude to my mum with regards to once again discharging my dad, as they have done all they can for him. He is not well, and needs 24 hour care, my mum is 78, and this is taking its toll on her. When I heard that staff have been very unpleasant to her today, I'm livid. They wanted to send him home, mum wasn't at home, the consultant asked if she had a key safe, so the ambulance staff could let him in. Are they for real, he doesn't even know what day it is, he had a fall in hospital, and you are going to let him in and leave him on his own. Unbelievable, what on earth has become of our NHS system. Mum called them when she was at home at 4.30pm to say she was home and the ambulance could bring him home, mum called dad to explain this to him. Then just before 8pm, the ward called to say he will be home tomorrow now, as his medication was not ready. Fuming and disappointed.

My 4 years old with serious illness in her one of her eye, which was very painful and swollen so severe was not seen at A&E. We waited over 4 hours and was offered to come back tomorrow. The clinician assessment was flowed other adults with less severe illness and or injury were seen before, staff did not care about the young age of the patient. Waiting time for such young patients with this severe illness is too long. No solution at repeated request for this child was offered and complaint route. Hospital are there to provide treatment for ill and injured people and priorities there service to take into account the very vulnerable in society. Awful and shame on you King Georges Hospital for not seeing my 4 year old child. Children are treated very badly

Only praise for the whole of the NHS. I rang 111 as I was very concern about my elderly father. The operator was professional and polite, connected me with a doctor who requested an ambulance. After 10mins an ambulance crew arrived equally great, took him to King George and he was seen straight away. His care both in A&E and on the ward was wonderful, such dedicated and hard working staff.

The worst hospital services. Very short staffed. Staff are frustrated and therefore they are the most frustrating staff to communicate with. The worst swabbing team! I have called the switch board at King Georges Hospital 4 consecutive days in a row to follow up on a swabbing referral. The covid swab was referred by Broomfield hospital as a matter of urgency for a surgical procedure. It took me 4 days to get someone to pick up the phone at the swabbing team! I managed to get through with the help of the switch board who sent out an email to the swab team. We only found out about the time of the swab on the day and a few hours before. They claimed that the one time they called, there was no option to leave a message. This is complete fabrication. I have voice mail on my phone. Today is the day of the surgery and the team have had Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and this morning on Wednesday to send Broomfield hospital the result of the swab test. They have not done so! The nurses here cannot reach the swab team as they won’t answer the phone. I have now tried to explain the urgency to the switch board and the lady on the phone was extremely rude, and unhelpful. This is unacceptable. My daughters surgery is now delayed because they have to swab her here in this hospital and wait hours for the results before she can go in for surgery. This is unacceptable. If the swabbing team are this short staffed, they should refrain from accepting any further clients and referrals from other hospitals! It’s best to actually follow through and send out the results for the clients they have on file. I would like to make a formal complaint to the hospital. This is unacceptable service. I was on calls 30-45 minutes each time several times for 4 days and today! 1/10 and that’s because On Sunday the switch board understood the urgency of the situation and sent out an email to the swab team. I really appreciate that. Thank you to this member of staff. Otherwise it’d be 0/10. The switch board staff member today however was extremely RUDE! Unacceptable. Unbelievable!

Worse place to be in this hospital. Waiting for last 7 hours ( 11pm to 6am ) to see the doctor. Receptionist are terribly unhelpful. Waiting all night. Been to him three times to ask about how long is the waiting time. He said, come back later, I am busy. No compassion for the patient. Can’t believe that, in 21st century you expect this service. Unbelievable & unacceptable.

Wow what can I say. Other than thank you all so much. From the security staff, the admissions doctors, nurses, receptionist and the doctors who treated my 19 month old from the 6th to the 15th we had to visit to have her scold treated and checked. Everyone was simply amazing. So kind caring and helpful. The waiting wasn't to long and if they felt it was the apologies were on tap. Everyone from the moment we entered till we left was super. And made her so happy and calm. And myself they were so re assuring. You are all doing an amazing job. And from the bottom of my heart we thank you all. Xx keep being you.
