“Koko Black really cheaped out on the chocolates in their advent calendar this year. Tacky little squares of milk chocolate with some vague kirsch aftertaste making them horrible to taste for young and old. Last year's calendar was excellent, it had a full selection of lovely truffles. Combined with the fact that, having ordered before December, I only received my advent calendars on 19 December. I had been advised by email they were coming on 5 December which was reasonable given the season. Then followed two weeks of complete silence. I then complained and was largely ignored. Very poor quality and service. I am pretty certain I won't be returning and I would have given the whole process no stars if that was an option. SUPER UNHAPPY CUSTOMER”
“Great chocolates but I ordered this as a birthday gift for my mum and she received someone else’s order. Therefore she did not receive the personalised box and card I paid for. I contacted customer service on this and 4 days later I received a reply with an apology and the “attachment” of a PDF of my personalised designs but there was nothing attached, I replied saying this but 2 weeks later still haven’t heard back or received the PDFs”

“I’ve ordered online 49pc praline boxes online as Christmas gifts, it all turned up well, however online deliveries does not actually comes with the Koko
black paper bags or we were not given the option to buy the bags online. So when I go to the boutique to get them, I am told I can’t have any, but was given only one. So, I had to go to 3 different stores to BEG for the bags as it doesn’t look good to gift the chocolates without the bags.

“I ordered the gift on Thursday 24th Nov 2022, it arrived Tuesday 6th Dec 2022 - It took 8 business days / 12 normal days to arrive. There was no indication on the website that there would be such a delay and purchases from other online stores were delivered in under 1 week. Considering this was a delivery within Sydney , and the suburb 5 kms from several KOKO stores, I had not anticipated that my friend would be in the hospital by the time it arrived. Lucky for good neighbors.”

The reason I took off one star is because of the sprinkle of sea salt on 6 of the chocolates. Some of the sea salt pieces were a bit too chunky for my liking and I ended up having to scrape the sea salt off. But it is all personal taste. I loved all the other pieces.”
“One package was missing. Then was resent by normal post despite request to expedite and took another week to arrive by which time I was no longer able to gift it. What a waste. Company unable to be contacted despite multiple phone calls and messages. Was keen to use your company for ongoing corporate gifting but will not be doing so given this experience.”
