Kubera is the world's most modern portfolio tracker. Track almost any asset class (traditional & crypto) in one place with Swiss bank privacy & security.
“Kubera is a neat "snapshot" tool and their service has been excellent when I needed to contact them. While I do not yet see it as an essential part of my portfolio management, it serves a useful function to occasionally monitor net worth. It could be improved greatly with an upgrade to its mobile app functionality.”
“Good to be able to see all of my finacial accounts in one place. Bad that they always get disconnected and I have to reconnect them. I hope this technology improves in the future...”
“Relatively straightforward to use but the most important element (connecting to your personal third party investment systems) has been unreliable on several connections.
Great idea but not able to connect everything I want so ends up being manual in several instances”
“Kubera is good at giving an overall look at your finances. I like that you can create categories within your assets and debts, track values over time and even forecast into the future. However, there are two things I don't like. First, you can't see transactions within an account, just totals. Second, accounts aren't always up-to-date. Even if you manually try to sync, it doesn't work. Accounts seem to sync in the evening, so anything that posts overnight or early in the day aren't reflected. In addition to tracking net worth, I use Kubera for weekly budgeting but can't trust the numbers. Because of these two things, I'm not sure I will renew my subscription.”
“It was relatively easy to install. Would like to have it pick up known accounts like credit cards. Of course I'd still need to supply the login info but at least i wouldn't have to search for something. Net worth change is confusing sometimes when you move money around. Possibly a timing issue. Same for major payments.”
“A good software overall, unfortunately it seems to be lacking quite a bit of flexibility such as adding transactions or changing names of categories or have subcategories and more. Also connections don't work well at all, none of my bank could connect properly and one of the biggest exchanges in Canada is not present. Fine with me as I prefer to do these manually.”
“Kubera does a great job at what it does. I really appreciate its multi-national view, which is rare in most consumer-level fintech. But it costs as if it did much more. I was hoping it would gain new and useful features over time, but seems to have stalled in its development. I'd be especially keen to see things like asset allocation breakdowns across a global portfolio - covering geographic, secure & industry proportions, for example.”
“UI/UX is great, integrations are plenty, and it's very easy to use. Also, support is fantastic: very responsive and really cares (which is rare these days).
But Kubera is very rough around the edges: some integrations (LPL Financial) keep disconnecting, the automatic value for my car is unrealistic, and at one point the system lost some of the Net Worth historical data, so I had to reset it.
All in all, I like to keep using the product, but it most definitely needs some stabilization and improvement. I'm not getting as much value now (mostly, due to failing integrations) as I hoped I would.”
“Need more analysis tools and some additional charting. For example, I want to look at my individual funds and look at performance over different timeframes vs various benchmarks.”
“Beautiful interface and all financial picture at one single place. Saves lot of time and energy especially if you have accounts everywhere!
I would give this 5 star but,
1. $150/yr subscription is too steep, I would give it $50/yr as reasonable for a platform like this especially given personalcapital has my portfolio managed
2. Connections to banks and financial brokers in india doesn't work or often disconnected”
“Marginally better than other services like Personal Capital, Mint, etc…I signed up because I heard Tim Ferris talk about them and was underwhelmed. I like that you can denominate all your assets in BTC and link crypto wallet addresses
It is worth some amount of money for the privacy (assuming it is more private), but probably not the annual fee they charge. I’ll see what updates they come out with before it comes time to renew.”
“overall the platforms allows me to integrate most of the portfolios I have. It's very userfriendly. Sometimes it has issues in terms of automatic updates.”
“Very easy to set up and serves the function of tracking your assets well. Easy to add accounts and update figures. However missing basic functionality like showing prices of stocks, crypto etc.”
“I love the concept. I find the connectivity to accounts is not consistent and has to be reverified which is inefficient. I assume it will get better.
Mike”
