“This was the worse service I have ever encountered. They rescheduled my cutting three times, and then tried to increase the job cost by 7-fold from $47 to $310 for a TINY patch of grass because it was overgrown. Clearly I did not authorize that bait and switch, and resumed to cut my own grass.”

“be sure you supervise, if they dont show up, your grass grows, youre charged for long grass, edging not thorough and clean up can be spotty...best advice....you need to supervise them....definately not folks who are thorough and detailed”

“Don't bother with this company. They did not show up to complete snow removal and stated that their provided indicated service wasn't needed while I have piles of snow in my driveway. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with this company.”

“We contracted with them for snow removal but on the first day they should have come I get an email stating they have no one in my area to do the work. Why would they wait until the day of the snowstorm to tell me this. If they don't have people to do the work then they should no contract out services. This was a gift for some elderly relatives and now we are scrambling trying to figure something out for them. I do not recommend this service. Very unreliable and called and talked them and they just said well there is no one in your area.”

“The first guy did a crappy job in mowing. He didn’t even trim around the lawn. No weed pulling all for $50. I asked for another guy to come out and he stood me up. I gave lawn loves one more time to send another guy but once again a no show. In my opinion I can’t trust Lawn Love’s to send A responsible person to mow my lawn. I found someone that would come out and mow, trim, pull weeds.”

“I hired Lawn Love to vacuum leaves from my property and to bag them. The leaves were removed to the street but they failed to bag the leaves, which meant the leaves blew all over my yard and neighbor’s yards before the village picked up picked up a week later. I ended up having to rake myself. They gave me a $10 credit but that helped me not at all.”

“The provider who came over Juan Ventura was wonderful. However the company is not. The phone customer service is terrible. Had a couple of issue with them, from the jump. I will not be using this company again. My neighbor saw my frustration with company and offered to do my lawn for me every 2 weeks. I work so need a company who will not cancel appt. late evening before, I wasn't even aware. So waited all day. Again the provider who came over I have nothing negative to say about him. M.S.”

“Lawn Love is horrible. First time customers and they failed to show twice. No service and still charged. I wouldnt not recommend them to my worst enemy. I rate them zero stars. Dont waste your time with this company.”

“I only used lawnlove for about 6 weeks. The last time they didn't show up on schedule, and still didn't show up 5 days later. They emailed and said they would show up yesterday, and didn't. They emailed again and said they'd show up today, and didn't. I'm done with them.”

“Constant cancellations and rescheduling Service cancelled today at 5:46PM on day of scheduled service and not rescheduled for 5 days on 7/13. This has happened 5 of 6 times I've used them. Always cancel late in evening on day of service. I only tried them again because I have an account credit of $33 but it's not even worth it to me. And they always apologize very nicely. You can *never talk to the provider in advance to iron out any potential miscommunication or communicate accurately the scope of what you want done. I have very specific shrubs that I wanted trimmed that I need to communicate to the lawn pro before arrival, or I need to be here to explain. This is just a poorly done and executed service all the way around; very poorly thought out and implemented in way that is very undependable in my year long experience. I'm trying now to get my credit card refunded my account credit (30 minutes of holding so far to get "approval." Another maddening aspect from the customer service and communications perspective is this: Their emails take the tone of it being a minor inconvenience that you were rescheduled but they've so conveniently rescheduled for 5 days later! The only thing I can figure out is they believe that people don't care when they have their service done, as long as it gets done eventually. No, in 5 days my HOA will be complaining about weeds. By the looks of the reviews here and in my experience, they've learned nothing and have adopted no improvements, even incrementally in the past year.”

“Worst service I have ever received. Did not edge the lawn. The provider complained it was too big of a yard. They sent a second person out days later and this guy attempted to edge and did a horrible job. Also left a huge mess. Used no blower. I complain to customer service and it was like talking to a robot in china”

“Charged $267.94 for an incomplete job. Pro stated he didn't have equipment to finish job and left. I went to App and tried to access their did not complete job form. Form would not load. Imagine that. Used other means to contact them even emailed Yamaguchi the CEO. He's sorry I had a bad experience. That's it, not let me fix this to your satisfaction or nothing. This company is a sham and a rip off. I will be disputing the charge to my card. Do not use Lawn Love for your lawn care needs.”

“We’ve had two services so far with Lawn Love Chicago, and both were very good. Communication with Lawn Love and the two different service providers was perfect. I like that I really don’t have to talk to a person in an office if I don’t want to; it’s easy to manage things electronically with Lawn Love. We’ve already had some wintry weather, so both of our services had to be delayed, but this was rescheduled and communicated with no effort on my part. The services occurred when we were told they would. We’ll for sure be back as we get ready for spring.”
