About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Bought these wellies around 5 months ago. I live in them and literally cannot fault them! I've gonr through so many wellies in the last year it's a relief to have a pair that are hard wearing! They are also comfortable and still going strong! Very pleased and will be sticking with Le Chameau 😊”

“When I first found Le Chameau many years ago, I loved everything about them! I am a country person who spends as much time outdoors as possible - gardening, walking and farming. I need boots to be comfortable, beautiful, well made and practical. I had a couple of pairs of leather-lined Chasseurs one after another, probably lasting twenty years at least altogether which were the epitome of comfort and practicality. I wanted something lighter this time, and am delighted with the Rose Iris Jersey lined boots so far.”

“Great fit, you need to wear them in - but once they are used to your feet - so comfy and stylish, great with chino's and a variety of shorts, and a great price !”

“These boots fit well (not too loose or tight) and were comfortable to wear straight away. They are certainly expensive so you would need to be sure that was the case before hanging on to them.”
