This small over subscribed airport needs relocation. It's dirty not enough seating, however I would give the staff 5 stars as they do try there best in difficult circumstances.

I was the one who forgot her passport 😰 I used to eye roll at other people who did this 😰 yes it happens! In my absolute distressed state a man called Chris ( I believe he’s the manager) came to my aid . He was very calm ! That helped me in my absolute meltdown 😭 . He and another member of staff at security got me on the aircraft within seconds ( through the back doors ) I cannot thank Chris enough for giving me his time at my hour of need ! I had asked passport control for help but was point blank refused help . This made my situation far more stressful. Chris you made my first weekend away with my girlfriends happen , we had a blast 🤩 and to your work colleague who insisted on carrying my case ! Thank you to you both ! I’m truly grateful and thankful for your kindness to a lady who couldn’t stop crying xx

Extremely dirty airport! Sticky toilet doors , no paper in cubicle. Rubbish everywhere. Shame !!!

Severe lack of seating, overpriced food, tables in eating areas not cleared or cleaned. Certainly the worst airport in these respects in UK. Staff very helpful,.

Missed our flight for our honeymoon this morning as our alarms didn’t go off, got there with 30 minutes before the plane set off. As you can imagine we we’re extraordinarily stressed and spoke to an AMAZING agent called Danni Cox at Jet 2 to see if there was anything we could do and she managed to reschedule our flight for later on this afternoon! She has saved our honeymoon and could not thank her enough! Amazing customer service and care!

Mid stay Carpark was too far from main entrance to be considered walkable as advertised and no bus at all. Uphill, difficult even with only hand luggage especially in the rain. Inside was dirty, disorganised. Signage not clear. Access roads are poor. Not a pleasant experience. Would not use again.

A nice small airport with lots of good flight routes. Lots of work going on so looks like everything will be undated soon. Would have given more stars except for the miserable unhelpful shuttle bus driver!! Get a different job if that unhappy!

Try the cafe next to Gate 6! The staff member is SO RUDE to a level of entertainment!!!! :0)

Worst airport ever. Rarely enough staff to manage passengers. Parking charges are and absolute joke. These people should wear a mask like Dick Turpin. £7.00 to drop off. Disgusting. I was there yesterday 25 minutes. £12.50. How deos it take 25 minutes with only hand luggage and no other flights at all. Garbage Airport.

This airport is awful, it must be the worst airport in the country!! It's dirty, the toilets are so disgusting! Over crowded badly organised. I would rather travel 60 miles to Manchester than visit this hell hole again 😭

Security asked to check 3 items from toiletries bag. Returned back said my after shave bottle that was 100mm was rejected. I asked why only explanation was machine rejected liquid inside it. I explained I left from Dublin with the same after shave . Expensive bottle kept by security for no reason other than staff member wanted to keep it for himself. I asked to explain what issue the machine said was wrong just got told machine refused it a disgrace.

Dreadful Airport. Road links are poor. Car parking limited (even for pre-book). Infrastructure not able to cope with volume of travellers (not enough seating for passengers and there is only one flight slightly delayed).

Absolutely the worst airport experience. Firstly, there is one carpark shuttle bus so had to wait over 20 mins after parking to get to airport. Long queue for bag drop and a longer queue for security. When you finally get through security in into departures, the real issues begin. Our flight was approx pm on a Saturday in late June but departures was absolutely packed. There was no free seating anywhere. All the restaurants were full and there were people sitting on the floor everywhere. Although it was not a warm day, the temp in the airport was unbearable. There was a 20 min wait to get to the order screens in Burger King. Most of the airport is actually pretty dirty. What I will say is that the one good thing about LB airport is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was lovely. It seems that the airport just has far to many flights for it's size and can't cope. It is a really unpleasant experience. We figured we would fly from LB instead of our usual airports, Edinburgh or Newcastle, as the flights were approx £300 cheaper in total. It was not worth it. We will never use Leeds Bradford again.

It’s a third world airport Washrooms stink Queue's stink Insufficient buses Passport control a joke Parking a rip off Only thing going for it is that it’s local to me Otherwise I would rather fly from another planet

Dirty place, long queues, rude staff, disgusting toilets, no empathy or compassion to customers. We had to stand for 2 hours due to lack of seating. We were then put in a holding area at the gate for 45 minutes without toilet facilities. This is the last time I will be flying from this dreadful airport!!

It's the airport closest to home, so less travelling time. Can see improvements in the pipeline, but when will they actually arrive ? As usual, for us anyway, the escalator not working at the arrivals entrance ,as usual ! Get it sorted out for goodness sake ! Glad more ladies loos in the baggage reclaim gall,shame they weren't that clean or tidy.

Security Staff not at all nice. Shouting orders at customers about what they should do to get through security. ā€œGet your belt offā€ actually barking orders. I asked was he shouting at me. He said yes! I said don’t! Not pleasant. Queue to get through the ONE body scanner working. The trays containing phones wallets handbags already through xray and moved by man at the other end. Anything could have been stolen. I was checking my tray and ORDERED to lift it off the belt. Crappy attitudes. Be nice! Be kind!

Arrived from Corfu Wednesday afternoon.Flight slightly late arriving. That is when the problem began. We went through to collect our luggage and waited at the prescribed carousel. After a reasonable wait the carousel started. The cases started arriving,slowly admittedly. Two of our party collected their cases and we waited,nothing. Suddenly the carousel stopped,everybody looking around expectantly for information but nothing. eventually I went looking for any sign of life e.g. LB staff none. A Jet 2 rep then told me that there was a problem and told me someone hab been sent out back to sort it. After 40 minutes we got our cases,one with a strap missing. I had lost the will to live at this point so I didnt try to find the strap. It must have been torn off because it was really tight. This is not the fist time we have experienced this shoddy treatment at L.B. airport. Instead of spending millions on expansion they should first of all spend money on training staff. How to handle peoples luggage carefully for a start and to have staff around and available all the time to answer questions and solve problems.
