*** BUYERS BEWARE *** This is a dishonest company. They have messed me around for 4 months and have failed to meet any of their promises and now claim to have gone bust. I know things are difficult in retail but the deception is what is irritating. 4 months in, they still have my £205, but I have no product. No one answers the phone or responds to emails.

My elderly father ordered some Leonie slipper boots for his wife's Christmas present,mink in color size 5. He then received an email saying the firm was in a form of volentry insolvency.This company are still advertising this product and no fought taking customers money.My father can ill afford to lose this money..PLEASE Do SOMETHING.

I ordered slippers on the 4th of October money in payment went out of my accounton the 10th I am still awaiting delivery of same . What can be done .today is the 12th . Mrs Yeadon.

Not yet received my order! Recieved an email saying there was a delay which by coincidence happened last time I ordered. I complained and asked for a refund which was ignored. I recieved an email last Saturday saying that my order had been dispatched with 2-3 days delivery- not received 5 days later and no response from anyone other than to send an email requesting a review! Crazy- I will not be ordering again when this debacle is concluded

Avoid this company at all costs. Take your money, initially then tell you goods are on back order, then no further communication or refund, have waited over 8 weeks. This company take your money under false pretences, fraudulent trading. Avoid Avoid Avoid you have been warned !!!!!!

Dear Ian, I am sorry this happened, especially as I see you ordered before. We are dealing with this and refunding you. The polo shirts sold out during the summer months, and sadly they have been put back when we've tried to re-order them.

Awful experience, took payment despite item not being in stock. Order placed in June still awaiting refund and it is now September. Very disappointed with this service. Why is it so difficult to issue a refund?

We ordered two leather duffel bags as presents, delivery expected in 2-3 days. LHCo took the money from our account within 24 hours. There was no tracking number on the order receipt. After 2.5 weeks there was no delivery - we contacted the company asking if there was a problem but received no response. We cancelled the order, requesting them to refund our account. We received an e-mail timed at the unusual working time of 06:02 apologising and stating a revised delivery time of 2 weeks. We re-contacted confirming cancellation and requiring repayment. We have heard nothing for 11 days; no repayment has occurred and we have approached our bank to pursue refund. It appears that our experience is not unique and that this operating policy has been used before by LHCo. Our review is written to advise caution in using this company, Lifestyle and Heritage Co.

I placed an order with Lifestyle & Heritage Co (Lhco) on 13 April and got an email a few days after the dispatch notification to tell me that there has been a mistake and the item is not in stock anymore. Fair enough I thought, this will be a relatively quick fix, just wait 2-3 weeks. It took them them until 15 June to allegedly backfill this order. No compensation or anything of the likes for the wait. I thought, well that's annoying, but ok, I will finally get to enjoy the product. After getting the dispatch notification, nothing happened. I have still not received my order and it is now August (i.e. nearly 4 months) since the initial order/purchase. I raised this multiple times, but have not received any replies whatsoever. As bad of an experience as can be; avoid at all costs.

Without fail the worst on-line retail experience I have ever had. I ordered some Gant trousers and a belt back in May. I had to keep chasing them for updates on the order. Finally in July I receive an e-mail saying they have arrived and will be dispatched. On the same day I receive a second e-mail saying they hadn’t come in and would never come in. They suggested I buy some shirts instead! I subsequently asked for a refund which they didn’t process and to top it off a week later they sent me my belt but no trousers!! It is now August and I have requested a refund again. Let’s see what happens this time. Avoid this company!!!

My worst ever experience of internet shopping. I ordered 2 suitcases which were supposed to arrive within 2-3 days. A week later I discovered looking online(not informed by L& H) that my cases were on “back order” and not available, and with no foreseeable prospect of delivery. I was offered a discount if I left my order with them but I requested a refund and this was promised within 3-5 days. I had to wait 2 months for full refund, with inexplicably 3 partial refunds being received after 4,7 then 8 weeks after the date I should have received my money back. I was exhausted by repeatedly requesting confirmation of payment and checking with bank on receipt of refunds. No explanation was offered for this shambles, or any response to a formal complaint I lodged with the company. The co-owner James admitted my experience was unacceptable but no reassurance was given about my experience being repeated with other customers, so beware!

I sent an email saying I needed to send these slippers back as they are too small....didnt receive a reply...apart from an out of office response....then several opportunities to leave feedback....i really don't like to be negative.....but the slippers don't fit and that is the bottom line...i just need a bigger size....please contact me to sort out a return :(

Absolute cowboys. Not even worth a star, I bought a pair of shoes in January and have still not received. They don’t reply to my emails. When I rang they promised they would be with me by the end of the week (April) nothing when I asked for a refund I was told again they would have them by the end of the week this was a month ago now, still no refund, still no shoes. How do you run customer service when the opening hours are 10-4 I work for a living and can’t be ringing you to make sure you remember to send my order or refund me whilst I’m at work. You might have had a problem with distribution but refund people when they ask.

Ordered a Joseph Joseph totem unit, it took over a month to receive it with no communication from LHCO, my phone calls and emails were not responded to. Eventually I got through to someone, they apologised and would look into the delay. I was told item was not in stock and they would reorder. I was emailed by James and told they would send a complimentary 48L totem pack to apologise for the delay. When the item arrived a further 2 weeks later there was no complimentary pack even though it stated it

Dear Samantha; I am sorry about this again. The bins were supposed to be supplied to us pre-packed with these kits. We were not actually able to order these kits in, for this reason. So, we have supplied from elsewhere and they should be delivered to you by Monday. I am sorry again.

I ordered my item 2nd March and waited.. and waited. 2 months later after emails apologising, they were expecting delivery any day etc, I’d had enough and asked to cancel my order and requested a refund. I was told to allow 7 days for this. Again I waited and still no refund and so I got in touch again. Imagine my shock at receiving an email which tells me they know I wanted to cancel and get a refund but it’s back in stock so could I reconsider! They have not refunded me on the hopes I would change my mind. Absolutely disgusted with the way this company does business.

I have been waiting for at least a fortnight for the refund of my order no.354079. This was delivered to me on on 24 1 18 and was an incorrect size. I have been trying since early Feb to obtain a refund so far without success. I have had two emails from you both saying the same thing. The most recent(today) merely reiterated the one I received about 3 weeks ago.Other emails have assured me that the ,matter is in hand. As of Monday 6th March no money has been refunded to my account. I am not a satisfied customer.

I'm grateful you first raised the issue with me, and I'm sorry I didn't handle your request more quickly. There'd been an external issue at play here which hasn't helped matters. First time I have used them, will not again regardless of price! Ordered some jeans before Xmas, they informed me there would be a delay but if I wanted to wait they offered me a voucher and a 10% discount which they would apply to my card. I accepted. Jeans arrived in late January. I have been sent the voucher but am being ignored about the refund. I have sent emails on numerous occasions, initially they said they were processing it, now they just ignore my chasing emails. Not a company I want to do business with - if you offer something, however small, you should honour it!
