I would say that I was expecting very good service from this company. This is the first order I have placed with them. I am still waiting for my order to arrive nearly a week after ording online. No notifications, no explanations! I started a live chat to ask where order is and although I got through almost immediately the response was so slow I asked the chap to email me with the info as I needed to go to work...each reply was taking up to 5 mins. Looking forward to receiving my order but at this point I can't see myself using this company again very soon.

Hi Sallyann, and sorry to let you down. Sorry if I was slow to reply in the chat; sometimes I have more than one person to speak to at once and I am not the world's fastest typist! My order was for some reason not sent out until I chased over a week later. Apologies given, but order still sent out by 2nd class Royal Mail which takes 3-5 working days. Would have appreciated a quicker delivery since the mistake was LH”s.

I initially wrote a review and although I did not keep the purchase I ordered I gave a good rating on the delivery. I am now giving an exceotionally poor review as I have as yet not received a refund for the said item. I have emailed and received numerous automatic responses but seldom anybody rectifying this problem. I note there are others who have encountered the same problem. I finally received a response 2 days ago claiming I havebeen refunded. I responded immediately informing this was not the case after re checking my bank statements. I subsequently Had no reply abd therefore phoned again today , and once again been promised it will be dealt with by a polite lady stating I will receive an email to confirm money is back in my account.

+ well laid out website and the product is as expected and quite reasonably priced + The PureChat system is excellent and staff are good at handling issues - My 2 to 3 day delivery time was actually 2 weeks after my product was in fact out of stock when on the website it was clearly in stock - I was not informed at all of the stock issue or that my order would be late in arrival - I received no DPD tracking code with my dispatched email so had no idea where my order was in the 5 day wait between shipped and arrived - I sent an email questioning the lateness of my order with no reply - It was said I would receive free Gant socks with my order however did not, where's my socks? A reasonably priced company with, yes, good products. However the customer service is frankly unacceptable for an order of over £250 in which the money is taken first thing. No information when there is an issue and nothing is followed up. If you don't mind blindly trusting a company for a few weeks and like waiting then this company is for you, if not, there are many other disambiguous British lifestyle companies about with similar prices. Overall a good product with terrible customer service, very dependent on the type of person ordering and the type of order but as a business: 4/10

Dear Harry. I was sorry to see this, although thanks for your honest points. I think your first order went off without a hitch? The second order was for a semi-custom flight jacket which became a whole other ball game while we dealt with the factory. As they sent it, they didn't send the socks. I'll ensure they're sent today. Product was fine however the delivery was shocking. It was late and when we enquired with you we were promised twice a call back yet neither time did we receive one. We then found our product lounging at the post Office Depot due to non payment of delivery charges. We won't be purchasing from you again as the service was rubbish. Quite a simple customer service opportunity yet you failed in all departments. We are still waiting for one of our call backs! Well done you another customer lost.

Very happy with the product but had to wait a very long time to get hold of anyone to discuss an exchange. It was from repeated emails and calls on my side that I eventually reached someone.

Thanks for your review and we're pleased you were happy with the product. I am sorry exchanging was a troublesome affair. We have streamlined it now, but the January returns period is always quite heavy for us to plough through. We sincerely appreciate your patience.

Not a great start so far unfortunately. I ordered a pair of trousers and the store sent the wrong colour. Mistakes happen so was willing to put this to one side. Tried to call the store at 5pm on Friday, which seems like a reasonable assumption the office was still open; recorded voicemail confirmed that the telephone system was down so we should leave a message and then contact by email. I left both a voicemail and an email but so far I've heard nothing, which is disappointing as the voicemail did stare that they would return to people over the weekend. Get the fact that this is a family business which implies superior level of service... can't say I've seen it so far. I go on holiday tomorrow, without the trousers I ordered but more aware that no one followed up on my issue. Let's hope my refund gets sorted with a little more efficiency.
