Great price for exactly the coffee pot I was looking for. However my request to delay delivery until after a specific date was ignored which makes the ‘delivery info’ line appear pointless.

Update: Recied a call from James who is the owner from my initial email. Lovely guy and very apologetic about my experience. He Has sorted out my order to arrive in time for my mum’s birthday (thanks James!).

A bumpy journey but remedial customer service delivered. LHCO initially didn’t process our refund for goods that were not dispatched, but with persistence this eventually got sorted out. As promised for the inconvenience caused a free pair of slippers has been sent to us. We didn’t think that they would arrive, but as promised, they have, and we appreciate the gesture as a recognition of our experience. Thank you.

I placed one order on 14/3 and another on 17/3. The last order came promptly and we are pleased with the product. The first order however still hasn’t arrived. You did email to keep me informed but this is three weeks now and it was for a birthday present which I informed you of and I had to purchase another gift. If the goods can’t be produced in a reasonable time frame you should offer a refund. Do you know when I am likely to receive the item? You must have an idea? Unfortunately I would think twice about ordering from you in the future. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Elaine; Sorry, slippers are re-stocking but slower than I'd hoped; they were very very popular in the run-up to Easter. They'll be with you ASAP as per my last update. I'll keep you informed. We do offer immediate refunds if we have to email about a stock issue. Thanks for the positive comments, though.

Ordered 2 DELSEY Montsouris 53 cm Expandable Suitcases on 24/1/18. Website stated in stock and would be delivered within 1-2 days. On 25/1/18 I received an email stating they weren't in stock but they would have more in the following week and they would send them out next day delivery. I was also offered a discount for the late delivery. Despite several online chats and emails the goods did not arrive. On 8/2/18 I contacted the company again to cancel the order and asked for a refund. I was immediately told that my order would be dispatched that day with a 1-2 day delivery. I was again offered a discount. I also received an email confirming the dispatch. On 19/2/18 goods had still not arrived and no contact from the company. I phoned them and cancelled the order at about 9.30am. At 10.30am that same day the goods arrived but shipped from an entirely different company. I emailed LHCO and told them I had received the goods. The goods are great but the service from this company is extremely poor. They took my money very quickly but had to wait nearly a month to get what I paid for. If you use this company check goods in stock, don't believe what their website says, and make sure that you keep chasing them don't let it go more than 2 days if you haven't got your goods. If they tell you the goods are not in stock cancel the order if you are not prepared to wait a long time for it. Their customer service is extremely poor. Still waiting to hear about the compensation!!!! 22/2/2018 Update. Since leaving this review and being contacted by the company. I have received the compensation and been informed of the steps taken to fill my order. The company have apologized and I have accepted it. Whilst the handling of this could have been better from the start, they have gone out of their way to try and sort it. Credit to them for doing it. I would use them again. Overall I have upgraded the review to Average

Dear Malc; I appreciate this has been a challenging experience and therefore you were moved to leave this review. We appreciate the feedback and it's a serious reminder about what can go wrong, and what should be prevented. There will always be problems and mistakes; we cannot assume there won't be, otherwise there'd be no plan in place to deal with them when they arise! I think the promise of a discount as an apology is a good thing; and I see that has now been followed-up on. The problem with stock was a two-fold issue of incorrectly marked boxes indicating we had these when in fact it was a very similar piece (one digit out!) from the Montsouris cabin case range. We then did as much as possible to speed up a delivery of stock, culminating in using another supplier to fill the order due to the length of time this was taking. I do hope maybe to apologise in person but have been unable to reach you so far. I am very sorry for everything and I hope that, should you need any after-sales with your bags, we'd be able to provide a very high level of support.

Thought the 10% discount applied to me at booking but enrolled after my transaction. Could not for the love of me get on with the tracking or the pure thingy to get in touch with the warehouse. Wrote my message but could not see how to send the message, frustrated but put it down to my age. Delivery arrived on the 16th. but I ordered on the 10th.hence my three stars. Bit like my school reports could do better! Kindest Regards MickDedman

Delighted with ladies slippers. Unfortunately our order for the men's slippers was incorrect. Soft rather than hard soles that we had paid extra for. The customer service dept were helpful and gave info on how to return and exchange them. All a bit of hassle though as we are a long way from the nearest post office. Hopefully the correct order will be delivered soon.

Bought a Gant shirt with a flaw which was promptly replaced but I never received any refund for the return postage as promised and no replies to my emails...

I previously entered a review on this company, because I was quite frustrated and nervous about my order. There where some "problems" with goods which where advertised as "in stock" on their website, but who were not even available. I had a close communication with the customer service, who did not hesitate to answer alot of my emails. Furthermore it was an shipping process within the EU (well UK to GER) and I as things seemed to run out of control I got quite nervous about my ordered jacket. Nevertheless two weeks later I got the same model of the jacket, in a slightly different colour way. In addition with a nice discount on top of the official sale price! As far from now I can recommend Lifestyle & Heritage Co. !

I bought two Delsey suitcases on line. The day after the purchase I receive an email saying that they were not available in store, I would get them by the end of the week, apologies and 10% discount. The week after I send an email to check on the status, no response. 5 days later I try to call, no-one answers. Finally the same James responds on the on-line chat, just to tell me that the suitcases haven't arrived yet, and he offers 20% discount. When I ask to be refunded, he replies "sorry I have to go now but of course". I have not received any communication regarding the refund. I suspect I will never see my suitcases nor my money... UPDATE Following my previous review I was contacted by the company. They apologised for the problem and processed by refund promptly which was much appreciated.

Dear Laura, The confirmation of your cancellation has been emailed along with a receipt of the transaction. Hopefully you have now received this. I apologise again that we couldn't fulfill the order although the problem was limited to that case range in particular. Kind regards, James
