Hello David, thank you for your review. Airmail delivery to Ireland can take upto 10 working days. Your order was despatched on Monday 7 December. It arrived broken so not much use now. Obviously you guys don't delivery them but they package didn't have fragile on it.

I ordered some festoon lights and stars. I have a standing instruction to leave parcels in a concealed safe place to help busy parcel delivery drivers. My parcel was stolen before I got home to retrieve the parcel. Lights4fun refused to replace the delivery saying it was my fault and that they had satisfied their obligations. Technically true but appalling customer service. I will never buy from them again. Beware and never give helpful delivery instructions!

We always recommend that larger, more valuable orders are delivered on the tracked service with a signature obtained as proof of delivery as we cannot be held liable for parcels that go missing. I bought 2 sets of Christmas tree lights from lights4fun, after putting my tree up & testing lights etc & all was working fine, within 2 hrs 1 set of lights stopped working. I emailed lights4fun & was told that I would be sent a replacement set 1st class. After a week I still have not received replacement lights, I have emailed lights4fun again with no reply. I would not reccomend doing business with this company. I now have a fully decorated tree with a set of broken lights on it & for the past 7 days waiting on replacement lights, which is very frustrating.

I was advised you no longer stocked our item.When I advised the lady we had just received 2 boxes of green lights which suited our system she apologised and thanked me for my assistance.

At first I was very pleased with the battery-operated outside lights I bought 2 years ago. However, the controller started to fail after 15 months and changing programmes became difficult. Finally I had no choice but to accept flashing lights although I really wanted them on constantly. Later I noticed that some LEDs in both of the chains I bought were no longer working. Lights for fun, maybe, but not lights for a long life.

brought 2 sets of outdoor lights dragon flies and butterflies last week did everything they said to do to set them up had a lovely display first night then only butterflies worked the next night then dragonflies only the night after , last night no lights at all . We have changed the position of the solar bit hoping that might work but Alas again last night nothing lit up???

Hello Susan, thank you for your review. At this time of year solar products are not as reliable as in the summer months because the hours of daylight are much shorter. In the first instance I recommend switching the solar unit off for 3-4 days to fully charge the batteries inside the unit to see if this improves the performance. It is the second time my delivery just hasn't arrived. I am still waiting on the lights that I have been already charged for. \nThe first time after two weeks my goods didn't arrived so they put a new order through but, I am still waiting!

My experience with lights4fun was bad. We placed an order for next day delivery for a festival and paid for the same but their system assumed it as second class delivery. It seems they did not have the item in stock and instead of informing buyer about stock unavailability, their system automatically changed it to second class delivery. Then we have to follow up to get it sorted and place a new next day delivery order. But we still did not receive the item next day. They use a courier company called DPD who sent a text message early morning at 6.51 AM that delivery would arrive in few minutes. The delivery person never intended to deliver the parcel, so they rang the bell and ran away immediately leaving missed you note. I called lights4fun and asked them to contact DPD to deliver the parcel on the same day but that did not work out. DPD collection office was 30 miles away. I cancelled the order and requested for refund. Lights4fun delayed refund and refunded after filing Paypal dispute.

Correspondence was non existent the item I purchased was cheaper on your own website I asked why and no one ever got back to me

I was disappointed that after ordering £106 of goods a 10% off email was sent if I waited 24hrs I would have been able to claim when the goods arrived the voucher codes enclosed were out of date having ordered goods many times before I was very disappointed that I could not get the 10%

Whilst the initial ordering process and service was very good, for a product that is expensive and supposed to last a number of years when it fails after only a few years quoting a 12months warranty is not acceptable service. If L4F expect the product to only last 12 months they should say so in the product description. If they feel it should last longer they are morally bound to help if they do not.

Absolutely terrible.\nMy first delivery of festoon lights was faulty.\nMy second lot of lights didn't arrive because they had been sent to wrong warehouse!\nWhen delivery rearranged that did not arrive because they couldn't find the address. They had mixed up delivery and billing addresses.\nThe lights did not arrive in time therefore for the large garden party they we're needs for.\nNo one has bothered to contact me about a refund\nIt couldn't be worse!\nI am a professional event planner and I have no intention of ever using or recommending . 'Lights4you' again.

This company let me down in the most appauling way over delivery of produts. When challenged about it they were worst than useless in their response. I will never ever use them again and I advise you not to if you have an important event that you need reliable service for.
