Order placed early December, no comms until a vague email saying to expect delays. Order then cancelled - appreciate I got a refund, but its too close to Christmas to order a replacement. Shocking service - you have lost a loyal customer.

Ordered a light ten days ago and still not turned up. 3 days response to emails each and every time after each communication with Lights4Fun. I’d warn everyone not to use this company.

Product ordered: Large Harlow Rattan Stag I'm not even sure where to start. We have received our order today and we are absolutely disgusted and appalled by what we found inside the box. As somebody else noted in another review, the product was badly/barely packaged- the box wasn’t sealed shut properly (just a flimsy strip of tape; parts of the product were protruding through the cardboard). Inside, the items were rattling around - no internal packaging to secure the stag; an envelope for fixtures and items had come loose and generally everything in the box looked like it had been crammed in. There was just a leaflet mainly explaining how to plug the thing in but nothing actually instructing on how to put it together. Also, the product is specified on the website as faux-rattan, but on the box you'll see "Harlow Rattan Stag". So imagine buying this from an actual store. That's clearly false advertising. The product is not even remotely reassembling rattan. It's made of some coated wire So all-in-all poor value for money and frankly, a big shameless lie. More on the product. Trying to put everything together I noticed one of the points where you connect the antlers was broken and welded into place with the wire left stripped of protective coat. And this thing is supposed to sit outside during December. The product was clearly used and probably returned by other customers. Also, parts of the product, here and there, were showing signs of rust. Most of the tail didn't have any LED light on, which is totally different to the pictures falsely advertised on their website. All in all it's shocking that in this day and age companies like this still operate in the market, falsely advertising and selling used and repaired products as new at extortionate prices. What kind of monster can premeditate and resell a used product for such an amount and especially at Christmas time? Would you care to explain to children why the reindeer they’ve awaited for weeks has to go back? Shame on you!

These are not for outdoor use in the UK. They let water into the Globe and fail to work after only 12 months. Really disappointed as only 6 out of the 11 Sets now work!

I ordered some fairy lights and tried to get the plugs as an add on but The website wouldn’t allow me to add to the basket so I assumed that the lights would then come with a plug, no they didn’t a glitch on their website , after sending several emails it was clear they didn’t bother to read the problems I was experiencing and just sent me a link to but plugs of which I would then need to pay the postage ! When it was not my fault, I gave up and just paid it as couldn’t continue with this bad communication.

I recently received some defective lights from this company and they sent me an automated email telling me that item wasn't in stock and a second email saying 'Thank you for letting us know that you have found the answer to your question with one of our help guides, your ticket has therefore been automatically marked as solved.' Obviously no one is actually reading my complaint. I have ordered from Lights4Fun before and not experienced any issues, but clearly something has gone terribly wrong with customer service and quality control. I won't be ordering from this company again as I need the confidence that any issues will be dealt with in a professional manner.

I paid for next day delivery and it took 3 days for my lights to arrive which was too late!!! This was slower than standard post deliveries I've received from you before. Very disappointed. Elaine Crawford

Airmail post can take up to 10 working days for it to be delivered to you. Wow! What a find this company is! Speedy delivery and second to none friendly customer service. When the night light purchased was only working intermittently I rang them late afternoon and was immediately offered a replacement which arrived the next morning. No need to return the faulty one. Now that's what I call customer service! Will definitely buy from them again. Lights for garden look wonderful when lit and are well made. Many thanks.

Hello Nicola, We are so sorry that upon investigation as to why your parcel hadn't been delivered it was discovered that unfortunately it had been lost in the Hermes delivery network. I'm pleased we were able to speak on the phone about this and, as promised, a replacement order has been sent on a Royal Mail 1st Class tracked service and your original £2.99 postage costs have been refunded. I am so pleased with my purchase (Star curtain lights, string of star battery lights and Moroccan sting lights). Really good value for money, and staff dealt very quickly with a slight problem I had with the suckers for the curtain lights. I was so impressed with the customer service department. Thank you

The staff were very helpful over the phone but the Christmas lights + transformer that we needed for the big day didn't arrive on time. Worse was the email telling me to celebrate the fact that my order was on its way - when it was already too late for christmas. I wanted to buy through a smaller company but I wish I had stuck with Amazon in the end.

I ordered outside tree lights 5 x 10m, fo delivery 20/12. DPD did not attract my attention by bell or door knocking altho; I waited in front room all day long. They said they would redeliver 21/12 and then 27/28/29. But they did not. No phone no. at DPD Crawleys' (never miss a delivery') was provided by them to make any alternative arrangement. The Goods were too late and I returned them. NEVER SEND ANYTHING TO ME VIA DPD, EVER. B R Goodwin

I bought these lights just before Christmas. Very disappointing because they didn’t work. We bought brand new batteries and tried many times - complete waste of money.

All 3 lights stopped working after 2 days. Waste of money and no reply from customer service regarding complaint. Had to but elsewhere as they are needed asap for Xmas
