“Well laid out website meant I could easily decide what to buy, how many + how & where I was going to put the components. For example - I have wired multi coloured festoon lights to the front of the house for xmas and new year, but have enough extension leads to refit these same lights to our patio at the rear of the house in summer (IF we get one) I did need to make one call to the supplier about a technical issue which was answered promptly and correctly. So (as they say in my part of the world ) "the job's a gud 'un"”

“Item arrived on time and it was as described (Pre Lit Frosted Mini Christmas Tree). The tree is very good quality and is equipped with a timer which allows lights to operate for 6 hours.”

“The products are lovely but what made me rate 5 stars is the absolutely great service they provided when i found something was wrong with my delivery info. They answered quickly and in a kind way that really made me feel satisfied and listened to. It is great to know there are actual people caring for everything you ordered to be ok.”

“Excellent service overall. Just wish would have advised plug for festoon lights as much brighter. Says to use D battery box for 2 sets. Staff very helpful. Free return service would be helpful too.”

“This is the second purchase I have made and the lights are great in both instances. I was, though, concerned that over Christmas your 'next day delivery' was mysteriously changed so that the lights came days later. I would not have requested them had I known they would not come in time. Perhaps this was just a blip - otherwise you are a great company.”

Hello, Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted you are happy with your lights! We are really sorry that your order did not arrive the next day. This is because you ordered after the cut off time of 4:00pm (for same day dispatch) on the Thursday, meaning your lights were dispatched on the Friday. Because it is a DPD Next Working Day service, DPD don't class Saturdays and Sundays as 'working days' so your order would have then come on the Monday, but with it being Christmas Day and Boxing Day your lights then arrived on the Wednesday. “Products never arrived, despite paying for next day delivery, company demonstrated no remorse and simply sent money back, never the disappointment of not delivering on the original purchase, which led to huge disappointments, which they don't seem to give a damm about”

Dear Mr MacMillan, we are so sorry to learn of your disappointment and have tried to speak with you in person today by telephone. We are sorry that we have missed you. Your order was despatched from our warehouse on Friday 15 December. Unfortunately it was lost in transit by our courier, DPD. We were not aware that this had happened until you contacted us by e-mail on 19 December to request that the order was cancelled and a refund made. We are truly sorry that we were unable to arrange a replacement order to arrive in time for your planned use. We did reply within the hour by e-mail to say how sorry we were that your order had been lost in transit and that a full refund would be actioned as per your request. We are sorry if you did not receive a copy of this e-mail. We do very much care about the service that we deliver and we are truly sorry that we let you down with your order for Christmas Candle Lights. We would very much like to welcome you back to Lights4fun so that we can demonstrate that this unfortunate experience was the exception to the rule. “I bought two sets of star lights which look lovely over my fireplaces and one set of the small wire lights which look great wrapped round some twigs in a vase. Both sides sets are battery operated and have worked all through Christmas. Excellent service and well priced.”
