“Excellent service - swift and well packaged. However, the net light s I bought for my box balls were far smaller than I expected and I couldn't get them onto the bushes I have in my front garden. I managed to use two on some very small standard olive trees but am going to have to return the rest. It's a shame as they are lovely - just way too small for what I needed.”

“Quick easy purchase, nice bright warm leds. Sadly last Christmas I also bought some icicle lights, which were fine, but they flickered a tiny bit. When we got them out this year the flickering got worse until 4 of the icicle strings when out, which is very disappointing as they have hardly been used.”

“These red candles are not as bright as the white ones I had purchased and I have found them disappointing. As it was so near Christmas when I received them I did not feel I could return them and get another set of white candles as a replacement before Christmas. I definitely prefer the white set as they are so much brighter and you can actually see the flickering, which you can't really see with the red ones. These red candles would benefit from a brighter bulb.”

Hi Marilyn, Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry you are disappointed with the brightness; coloured lights are never as bright as white because they do not reflect light in the same way as white ones do. “Lights4fun accepted a return. Item returned 100% with original packing but refund £7 instead of £12.99 paid. Pathetic. Never deal with them again.”

“Arrived in super quick time - however of the two sets we ordered one switch didn't function properly leaving the light permanently on meaning removing a battery to turn it of. The second set's switch initially worked but then went the same way as the first; a shame because otherwise they would have been ideal.”

I have looked at your order and it is for a plug in fairy light product which has red lights; I wonder if you have left a review for an item purchased elsewhere? Dear Roy, Thanks for your review. The brightness will vary from product to product, and I am sorry these are not as bright as your existing lights. We do have other festoon party lights which might compare better, but multi-coloured lights are generally less bright than the white ones. Kindest regards, Jo

“Quick delivery... Shame that the re-chargeable batteries in this solar powered light are V poor. Hopefully replacing them with a decent brand will take this up to 5 stars!”

Dear Richard, Thanks for your review. The rechargeable batteries do work well once the sun shines. We do have a larger solar unit with a higher voltage, which is able to receive charge in weaker sunlight. However, this is a dearer option, but it will give a better result overall. We are sorry that your solar lights are not illuminating; they usually work from the box as they will have a small amount of charge from the factory, but to be completely honest in Winter with very short days and no sun they will not charge as efficiently as they will in Spring and Summer. “Bought two sets of lights this winter. One great. On I sent back as colours were really not nice (can you do warm colours?) Cost me a fortune to return the lights. I bought them at my risk for sure but I was an expensive mistake on my part.”

“I bought 4 strings of solar fairylights, thinking that they would look pretty on the bushes for Christmas. What a pity Lights4fun did not mention that these lights are for summer use only. Four or five continuous hours of sunlight, as we have had on several days recently, are not enough to make the lights work. Not a glimmer have we had, so we are very disappointed customers..”

“I liked the candles but the remote control is not working. The outdoor tree lights are great, but I cannot figure out how to stop them flashing.”

Hello Truitje, I am so sorry that the remote control is faulty. Thank you for your time on the phone and as promised I have applied a 50% refund to your payment card so that you can continue to use the candles without the remote control. To scroll through the different settings on the Outdoor Battery Lights you simply press and release the button on the base of the battery pack until you find the setting that you like. The static setting is the last setting on the control unit. Please do let me know if you are unable to amend the setting on the lights and we will send a replacement. “Ordering online through to receiving delivery was exceptional customer service, however upon opening the box, the star shaped light shades were all splitting and falling off, so I had to realign all the stars and tape them back on before I could consider hanging them in the window. They look good now they are up.”
