“I have a 65+ pound GSP with a deep chest. It is difficult finding a vest that fits him decent around the chest. This vest fit him around the chest but just barely. The material on the chest seems very durable and protected him well. The rest of the vest also seems durable as well. The buckles on the other hand is a different story. The straps that hold the female end of the buckle have torn off after hunting the dog in the field less than 10 times. We have hunted some thicker country including cattails. I had high hopes for this vest as I felt that the material would protect the dog and did. However, I am going to have to figure out a way to see the buckles back on before it made it through one hunting season.”

“The service from Lion was quick and responsive, however the product purchased was a huge disappointment. The starter pistol purchased refused to fire every round. This gun was purchased as a prop for a play, so it was never actually used beyond a couple of rehearsals because it was just so unreliable. By the time we realized it was never going to hit on every blank, it had been used and therefore, most likely unreturnable.”

“Service was good. Ordered a second brush protector for my dog. First one lasted a season. Second on is on track to be replaced next season also. Ordered the one with wider straps also. This seems to be holding up better. OK vest for an OK price.”
