“My partner and I were looking to secure mortgage protection in a very tricky case during the Covid-19 pandemic with altered underwriting thresholds. We went straight to Lion.ie based on the reviews online. Nick and Amy were brilliant to deal with. They showed true patience, professionalism and a level of care second to none. Nick regularly updates the lion.ie website which provided really relevant and up to date information in our situation. My partner and I look forward to drawing down our mortgage shortly. We will be toasting to Nick and Amy when we move in !!”

“Extremely happy with how Amy handled my case. She was very easy to talk to. Understood my case quickly and was able to suggest options. I was able to get my mortgage protection insurance through Amy. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Competitive prices. Got the job done eventually. Sadly, communication was a bit unsatisfactory at times and I had to do quite some prodding to move things along. Knowledge of specific details was a bit sketchy. Friendly but not as quick in responding to questions at times, that I would have wished for.”

“I was referred to Lion.ie from a friend who already got insurance there. I am glad I followed her advice and got in contact with Nick; not only he explained what level of cover we currently have, but advised on the best option for what we were looking at switching. There was no pressure to by a policy, no push to get the extra of the extra. We have now a policy that is more suitable for our needs and it also turned up cheaper, which is great. Also, a big thank you to Amy , who has been so professional and prompt at every questions we had. Definitely recommending Lion.ie to our friends!”

“Lion we’re excellent in getting me, a type 1 diabetic, mortgage protection in the middle of a pandemic. They were the only people that could answer specifics regarding applications with a long term illness. Seamless communication, easy over email, and always responding within a day or so. They also went the extra mile assisting me on a few modifications to the cover. Thank you for getting us past mortgage protection!”
