“Having trained at Lions on a couple of occations and ordering our Wedges ,Points etc and mouldings I have always being happy with Lions. The only problem is, we are Sole Traders and as such unable to cobble together a moulding order for £50 min. We order from Frintons who do not put such restrictions and only charge £5 for carriage! If you had a reduced minimum amount on maybe your `Minerva` product that would be a big incentive to look again at this situation. I am not alone with this problem. Kind regards, Pete Hall (Hall19)”

Dear Pete Thank you for your comments regarding our minimum order value on mouldings. This is something we are currently looking into change to enable people to be able lower than £50 value of mouldings as this issue has come up on numerous occasions. If you do wish to place a below £50 mouldings order give me a call in the office and we can see what we can do for you. unfortunately currently this option is not available online yet. warmest regards Julia

“We have just moved our workshop from Weybridge in Surrey to Rye in East Sussex. I needed some snap toggle cavity fixings in a hurry and was pleasantly surprised when you agreed to post them - they arrived the following day. Thank you.”

“Products are always well packaged and handled by a good quality courier. Chop orders are usually in good condition but there have been instances of damaged moulding being used and inaccurate lengths.”

“Lion are very efficient. The orders are dealt with professionally so I know when I place my order that they will be delivered on time and what I asked for. Anything out of stock and I am already aware of because when ordering I am told so on the website. If I have a query I know I can phone and speak to a real person who can help.”

“My deliveries are prompt and the staff are always very helpful. I'm generally a satisfied customer. I would add that, as I get my mouldings through the post and not van delivery, that I think the mouldings are wrapped too tightly. In many cases I can cut around the damaged wood, but some mouldings bruise easily, so they have dents where the strapping is. It could the strapping or be the way they're handled once they leave the warehouse as they're picked up by the ties? I can't say, but I often order extra material to manage that waste. Not ideal for large frames.”

“Customer service was excellent and very helpful with helping me setup my workshop. Only downside was the delivery was a hassle. My brand new Morso had fallen over in the back of the lorry and then we had to hand lift it off, as the lift was broken. Dangerous really. Also my glass cleaner had leaked as the box it was in clearly hadn't been stacked upright”
