This review is for Lion 450 mm Z Bar Hangers which I bought to hang heavy Acoustic panels on my wall. A very cost effective solution only let down by the small screws provided going right through the bracket screw slots which meant sourcing suitable alternative screws and a delay in mounting my panels which is why I gave 4 stars. That said I would have no hesitation in recommending these brackets.

Delivery always on time, orders usually always correct. The quality of some of the lengths could be better, especially the black ash which I use tons off but usually get at least 2-3metre lengths which are unuseable due to bad saw cuts or other general faults.

Professional advice, a lot of choice and friendly staff. Jack showed us various options, but was maybe a bit pushy to up-sell to better (more expensive) types of machinery. We did spend more money than expected, but it's probable worth it. (time will tell). Overall though a pleasant experience, shopping with you.

I am extremely happy with the delivery service. Roland is excellent and will be missed once Lion decide not to offer their own deliveries. The courier service is also very good. I am not happy with the minimum order requirements as being a small framing concern do not always need such large quantities. However, overall very pleased with Lion's service level.

I have developed a limited process and knowledge of framing over these last two years and Lion has helped in this. But closing an outlet ( near Heathrow) I could go to visit and now not having a delivery contact, ( on a Thursday) makes it all the more difficult. I found the website much more difficult than the brochure and ringing. So not too happy.

I like the range of products you have in stock and the ease of ordering online, so I can get most of what Ii need I one place at a reasonable price. The website is easy to use and it's useful to have a paper catalogue as well. I like that I can save my favorite products in my account. It was not advantageous to pay directly in euro as the prices didn't reflect the actual exchange rate. On both occasions I've ordered from you I've been let down by the local courier in Ireland failing to deliver goods which has caused a lot of inconvenience and ruined an otherwise positive experience. However your customer service has been quite helpful in resolving the issues.

Have been a customer of Lion for many years and have always been satisfied with the quality of their goods and the service provided. Only once have I had to send anything back as it would not work and was duly refunded without any fuss.

Overall good service and a fairly comprehensive range from a descent established company. One of the items on my order was not in stock so I was contacted quickly to see how I wanted my order processed, i.e. all at once at a later date, or in stages. Shame they closed the London Branch.

Shame that you closed the Lion South down - it was really convenient and I could buy my glass from there - also I was not subjected to a minimum order value for moulding

I used your chop service last week for the first time, it went ok after your help desk told me I was to click on the small thumbnail of the selected moulding before I could proceed, perhaps it was just me being thick! Did I hear you say yes?

All good, however I still think service at desk is slow. I ordered on-line last week, just 2 lengths of one moulding and 1 sheet of mount-board. I arrived at approx 1315hrs with one customer in front of me but still had to wait for 20 minutes to get served.

There is sometimes variable finish on the face of your mouldings. For example, last year I ordered several lengths of L1853 White Beech. There were several places where the beech laminate had been changed to another sheet, leaving "fingers" of join, which resulted in quite a lot of wastage of (for me) quite an expensive moulding. I suppose I could have rung up and I imagine I would have been invited to return the offending lengths. I would rather not have to wrap up several lengths and go through the rigmarole of returning them, I just had to make do as best as I could, with a bit of wastage. Otherwise I have no complaints, which is why we use Lion each year before our annual exhibition.

Having recently changed the business status to a limited company, I was somewhat irked by the necessity, unlike any of our other suppliers, of opening a new account. Otherwise, all is O.K.
