“This was our third ski trip that was organised by Mountain Watch Travel and we were very happy with the service we received. Our agent, Justine was always prompt with communication and answered all of our questions in a very friendly and timely manner. She was very professional, super organised and I would highly recommend her. We did have some issues with Jetstar cancelling flights but Justine always kept us informed and helped with finding alternatives. Thanks so much Justine you are a true asset. Booking through Mountain Watch Travel has made our skiing trips hassle free. We will definitely be using them again.”

“Unfortunately this time round it seemed to be drama after drama. Not Mountain Watches fault. But the flights were changed, firstly from direct to outbound with stopover, adding 5hrs to journey ( no food added or anything). The return flight changed by a whole day, which didn't get picked up. So additional holiday day required and accommodation in Tokyo, which we couldn't really use arrive Sunday afternoon leave for airport Monday afternoon ( everything shut on Monday in Tokyo), more cost with airport transfers, more cost in airport carpark. Review of Hakuba, 12 years ago it was great, people couldn't do enough for you. Today, not the same atmosphere at all, if you want to drink with drunk Aussies it's for you. Has a Bali feel to it now. Good luck finding decent food now, restaurants are poor, terrible pizzas etc. You have to book, but often they are full, oddly Japanese options are limited. I would keep looking for a different ski experience and give Hakaba a miss.”

“Anna's recommendations were exactly what I asked for - I had tried 2 previous agents at other companies that kept providing options that didn't align to our needs or our budget. The trip was seamless, our stay at the Rosenheim Hakuba was awesome - boutique japanese style , friendly staff, excellent service. Pick up & drop off to the station. Even our ski instructor ( who was also outstanding) commented on how great the ski locker room was: boot drying rack , lockers for skis & helmets, dryers . The restaurant was great for after happy hour when we were too tired to go out - heated blankets at the tables! Our lift passes covered everything, our instructor took us to 4 resorts. It was our first time skiing & we had the best time. We will be back!”

“OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE!! The team at Mountainwatch were patient with my changes, insightful with their recommendations and incredible with their communication. My trip was very short as it was wedged into a business trip but I managed to get a few days skiing in Japan and it was great! Thank you.”

“room was as good or better than expected,onsen was great,breakfast was the best i've had during my 10 seasons in Japan,Mieko is a star and her husband and all the staff including cleaners were terrific.No complaints.”

“We needed Urgent help due to a broken wrist in our group. Justine & Susie from Mountain Watch did all they could to assist and it really helped the process. It is all very well to organize a trip, but to be on the fast response via email and phone in a urgent situation - was just first class service. This was our third trip and other 2 trips went extremely well.”
