got mountain bike from littlewoods send it back still no refund but keeps asking me to transfer that bike to buy now pay later so mad rung littlewoods to ask about that bike I sent back got told money back on my account so please tell me why it asking me to transfer that bike then

this company is a complete and utter shambles. bought some goods from them on a buy now pay later. Paid them every penny i owed in december and received an email confirming payment. they are continually chasing me for payments, two more demands received this morning. I have spent hours on the phone and have sent several emails asking them to update their details but to no avail. they are ruining my good credit rating, it already shows i have missed payments. STAY AWAY FROM LITTLEWOODS ALSO KNOWN AS SHOP DIRECT THEY DONT KNOW THEIR A**E FROM THERE THEIR ELBOW. I for one will have nothing to do with them ever again.

I would like to complain about the service I received on the phone today at around 9am and also my experience with your website which affected my ability to pay online on a BNPL due date. Firstly I attempted to make a BNPL payment last night (the day it was due by online) however the option to do this was removed from your website, even though up until Thursday it was still on there. So my first complaint is the fact that this happens. It is wrong and is almost tricking people into missing payments if the payment is interest-free when paid BY that date it means that date is inclusive and the option to pay should remain online until that date, it makes no sense why you would remove that on the system when it is up there literally the whole year! It is forcing customers to call in to make these payments manually which is a huge inconvenience considering the almost always terrible customer service team who have a lack of understanding any real situation, very long waiting times at certain points of the day when people have work and lives to get on with. I also do not appreciate being told by the customer service agent I should call in at a better time to make the payment when I was working long hours on the day I wished to pay (again a payment which I have every right to do online by a specified date). I made the payment manually and expected to be shown some sort of common sense in the fact that it could be allocated to the BNPL and any applied interest would be removed., but was told this has to be escalated. Again pathetic, I have been a customer with you for a long time where things similar to this have been rectified almost instantly, but no I have to worry if this will be corrected and also if I will get a reply at all, as I have had issues raised and never heard of again and I rarely follow up due to the inconvenience and dread of talking to these mostly horrific customer service agents!

Littlewoods is hiding behind it's appalling call centre in South Africa. The agents there cut me off, left me hanging, gave me inaccurate information and many don't have clear English. I was actually reduced to tears out of frustration of trying to get any sense out of them. Reading other reviews, it seems that Littlewoods doesn't place any value on their customers if they allow this farce to continue. Why pretend you have a customer service when actually what it is is a pretence at customer service. I have never come across anything so shocking in my life. For those who deal with Littlewoods and haven't encountered a problem, lucky you because as soon as you do, and you have to contact the call centre, you will realise that dealing with Littlewoods is a one-way situation, the agents will do anything to get you off the phone. No professionalism or care for their customers at all. What they are getting away with is criminal actually.

Ordered 5 items in black Friday sale back in November. Still saying waiting dispatch. No response from email. Chat and phone not answered. Terrible experience as the items were supposed to be Christmas presents.

Littlewoods is designed to overcharge customers. Example, an IPad Pro (2018), 256Gb, Wi-Fi, 12.9in is £300 (cash price) more expensive than buying at Apple store. If you wish to "spread the cost" (this seems to be their business model) prepare for a 44.9% APR over an already £300 overpriced product. Is pure and simple exploitation of low credit score buyers. Shame!, shame!, shame on you Littlewoods!

Beware if you want to return an electrical item that is faulty! I bought a steam generator iron in November, used twice and doesn't work properly and despite being a customer for 20+ years they wont take my word for it! Time was they would ask you to return it and send a replacement all at the same time, not any more they now order another which go's on you account and then ask you to return the other for a technician to inspect, only then will they remove it from the account if the technician agrees with you that it's faulty - if he doesn't you end up with something useless on your account to pay for and I had to call 4 times even to get this agreed as despite being told it was arranged it wasn't. They didn't understand at all that I just wanted to have an item that worked, if it did why would I be returning it after 6 weeks?????? I think that the call centre has now been moved out of the UK and the customer service has gone down the pan with it!

Genuinely worst Customer Service I've ever experienced. Ordered an item that was originally delayed in being shipped out with no explanation, then didn't show up for ANOTHER week after it should have been delivered so I contacted their live chat. DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!! Had the misfortune of speaking to 3 people because they were all equally as incompetent and none of them seem to speak actual English. All their responses are the same auto-replies you'd expect from emails, not a genuine sentence to be found. MY EXPERIENCE: asked first agent where my item was, he said he'd look into it, took him easily 10 min, then he said he had info for me and didn't say anything for another 3 min. I asked if he was going to tell me anything and he got MAD AT ME, saying that he'd asked me to give him a moment before! I pointed out he'd literally just said he had info and he was like "oh sorry I didn't mean to send that." He then pushed me into a queue to talk to a "track and trace" agent, which is a specialist for reading the info you can see yourself on the account! Literally all that person said was "oh yeah no updates since Nov 29th, seems like it got lost." NO KIDDING!! They needed a specialist to tell me that! The best part: when I was put into the queue it said it would be about 19 min.... I ended up waiting almost 1.5 HOURS! FOR NOTHING!! The agent then said they'd refund me the item I'd bought on sale because it seemed to have gotten lost, I asked to have it reshipped instead as I wanted the thing I purchased not the money. DUH. They said THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE! They literally CANNOT resend you an item that THEY lost! What you have to do is refund the original and then purchase it again! Imagine buying something expensive for 1000€ and having to purchase it TWICE while waiting on the refund!! I told them I don't want the refund, just reship the item and they put me to the THIRD agent without asking who read the previous chat and went "so I have to do a price match?" referring to the sales price I got the item for originally. I told him no, I just want you to send the item out again and keep the money you have. He then told me after several more minutes of waiting that the item had already been refunded! I'm not a native English speaker but my God, the reading comprehension of those robots is abysmal. NEVER EVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM!!!!! This taught me to never buy from anywhere but Amazon ever again. I've never had such an awful experience before and it lasted TWO HOURS!!! FOR NOTHING!!! And btw, I used to work in a call centre myself, so I know the job and I've seen all kinds of things. If it is true that they can't just reship an item NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER!! Their system is utter broken garbage in that case and you should not trust them with your information or money! Being able to reship an order is the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM a sales/order system should be capable of!

Worst company i have ever ever dealt with. Never again. Yodel messed up delivery littlewoods never rectified things, item never received. No one can do their job properly. Not to mention being cut off constantly whilst on hold . Phoned 7 times in one evening to ask to speak to someone in order to complain each and every time i was put on hold then cut off. NEVER USE AGAIN WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Shocking company. Had a Shop Direct account with Very and Littlewoods and have never been so disappointed and unsatisfied with the service from both companies. There's far too much to write but this company will take your money but not allow you to purchase any more items due to money not showing in account. My money got taken from my bank account and went to Very's account but they could not locate it. Over 24 hours later and the money is still not on my account. I trued to buy an Xbox for my 6 year old but can't because Very does not know where my money went. They then reduce my credit limit for no reason making it even more difficuilt to buy anuything. I have spoken to over 6 different advisors and been hung up over 3 times. Not one advisor has a clue and they all give you conflicting information. Company rips you off and expects weekly payments even though most customers are salaried and get paid monthly. Just a con to charge customers even more due to late payments and interest comes off just when ever suits without any prior notification, again, to get more money out of customers. Company is shocking and anyone with sense will boycott this mickey mouse organisation.

This company has gone terrible since the call centre has been moved from the UK. Been a customer for 16 years with the maximum credit limit and ordered thousands of pounds of goods in that time. regretfully, the time has come to cancel the account. I ordered a Bed and Mattress and paid the addiitonal £35.00 to have the delivery drivers take away my old bed and mattress. The delivery drivers bluntly refused to take away the old bed and mattress even though it had been paid for and was in such a rush to get away, would not bother to contact the office to confirm we had paid for the collection of the old items. Called Littlewoods' south african call centre the same day to be advised that they would re-schedule the collection for the following day. The following day I received an email from Littlewoods confirming the cancellation of my order and asking I call them to arrange for collection of the new bed and mattress and my account had been refunded. I then call LIttlewoods again who advise that the person I initially spoke to cancelled the whole order, refunded my account awaiting return of the new items and that I will not get the old bed and mattress taken away today as I had thought. as you would in this scanario, I demanded that they honour the order and arrange to have the old bed and mattress collected - and I was told that they had refunded the £35.00 collection fee and that I would now have to arrange for the disposal myself !! Asked to speak to a supervisor/manager and was cut off - then spoke to another lady who reinstated the order but said that they would not be able to get the courier to come back just for a collection. I asked to speak to a manager but was told I couldn't so asked to make a complaint and she had to transfer me to another department. Said that they would investigate and placed a £10 credit on my account - still out of pocket, as my local council charge £35.00 to pick up large bulky items. All in all, awful company with zero customer service. If you want my custom back, you bring back UK call centres - otherwise, see ya later............

Difficult customer care Unhelpful Very disappointed Won't order anything else from littlewoods or Very in future Faulty Applience I am Going back to shop in Argos In November 2016 I bought an INDESIT cooker, fridge and wash machine online from littlewoods direct, ordered all at same time. It was my birthday so I kind want to treat myself to a new kitchen. By May 2018 4 knobs of the cooker were broken, it fell out one by one within a week while cleaning the cooker. The "member" that connects the four knob to the cooker is made of plastic instead of metal with time it made it frigile to break with a simple touch. There are ONLY 2 knobs left on the cooker that for oven and grill, which the "member" that connects to the cooker are made of metal... Product PD450E8, Indesit, white Cooker is a faulty product. Only two knobs "member" out 6 are made of metal (the other 4 ones) are made of plastic which makes it very easy to break. Anyone thinking of buying this product THINK about it, as I have a cooker at home in perfect condition without Four knobs and I cannot cook meals cooker and I have children at home to feed ( I would add pictures here but there isn't an option to do so). My previous cooker I bought in Argos and spent £200, I had the cooker for 6 years, not a knob missing when I decided to replaced for this one. In fact I gave it to a friend. I spent £429 for this INDESIT cooker that all the knobs fall off within 15 months old. Now I have to pay an extra £22 a month in a period of 12 to pay for warranty to have Indesit company to fix the cooker. I called Littlewoods first to report what happened back in May, the call was answered in India and the customer service was horrendous. I am a very unhappy customer. I been with littlewoods for nearly 5 years in this period I bought sofa, TV, wooden flooring, footwear, kitchen appliences, etc etc... I am very disappointed with products and customer care that I received from littlewoods and I won't be purchased anymore from them. Will take my money elsewhere that will appreciate my money and me as a customer. P.s I just found out that very is same company, I will stay clear from Very too. Please, Check reviews before buying.

Really bad customer service on phone they haven't got a clue and they just LIE absolute joke of a company. Been a customer for over 20 years it has went way DOWNHILL. Once I have paid off my balance in the next couple of months I will not purchase a single thing from them again.and I have spent thousands over the years with them also customers of mine have spent thousands.but no more. I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of customer service from them. I ordered 4 wooded planters from them. On arrival 1 was broken & the other 3 were substandard. I returned them, it took four attempts for them to actually be collected. On 2 occasions, I received noticed that the driver had attended, but they were not ready. I was at home waiting for them. 4th time lucky, then 2 weeks ago I have 2 phone calls wanting to arrange collection of them. I informed them they had been collected. I checked my account & I have been charged for 3 of them. I contacted them via their web complaints system. Told this was the wrong department & to contact their custom services. 3 tines I contacted them & 3 tines the phone was cut off on me. I still do not know why I have been charged for returned items or why I was cut off. I am absolutely disgusted with them & their lack of understanding of either the word customer or services.

not even worth 1 star ! absolutely disgusting .. every single time I go to pay on the date due every time they take the money out the bank but says I have not paid . due to them taking the money I wait every time for it to go back into the bank and then pay again! they then add a 12 pound bloody late fee when it is their fault . I have had many chats with advisers from there and they just say ring the bank but not getting my point of its their fault but I have to pay more. also make they are sending your parcel to the correct address , I updated my new address and ordered a hat ( it came to my new address) then ordered a item much bigger it went to my old address .
