“The book quality perfect, the gift box all messed up. I basically took it out of the shipping box right before giving it to my wife and I noticed that.”

“Years ago I used this company and it was amazing. But it seems the quality has gone down hill. The extra star is for how quickly customer service responds and try’s to fix the issue. I recently ordered the hard cover book with a rush shipping for Valentine’s Day. It didn’t arrive on time. The company did refund the shipping fees. The glue was haphazardly applied causing damage to the book when the pages were flipped and some of the pages were already coming apart. I had to present the gift this way which was a little embarrassing. The company offered to send a new copy which was great but it was supposed to arrive yesterday and hasn’t. For $75, I expected different quality and results.”

“The book is nice if only it had better options to customize it so that the characters actually look like the person it is meant for. Shipping was a disaster it got to my state then it shiped to the wrong facility my wife ended up getting her anniversary book 4 days after when she should have gotten it on that special day. But they did reimburse me with my shipping fees back”

“My book was not delivered til AFTER Mother's day. It was supposed to arrive on the 8th of May. I was not happy about this. But my mother was happy with it.”

“Our book spine was damage. When we open the package the top corner was damage. I took a photo of it. It was a nice book but it wasn't visually appealing to see that.”

“The book itself was beautiful...once I received it. I paid expedited shipping for an already expensive item, only to discover it was lost in transit. I was given incorrect tracking info and no answers as to where it was. I myself had to provide the correct tracking info, to "officially" be told it was lost. The company ended up sending me another book, at no extra charge, to replace the one that was lost. But it was received a week after my boyfriend's b-day had passed. I'm so disappointed with the lack of answers from customer service, I will likely not be giving more business to LoveBook.”

“Tiny low-quality book for $50+, it says "lovebook" all over it. I bought it as a gift and it looks very unprofessional with "lovebook.com" in almost every single page (front back and last few pages).”

“Couldn’t use the coupon sent to me for one. Then the add said order now to get by Feb 14 so I did and at check out it said in order to get by the 14th I had to pick a more expensive shipping19.99 . So after no discounts and paying more shipping I was paying in the $90’s for a book I took the time out to do. So not happy or impressed with this to say the least. And the book came 4 Days early so why did I have to pay the xtra shipping???”

“Went to make a book about 2 weeks before Valentines Day and they told me that I basically needed to pay for Premium Shipping and Expedite it in order to make it in time… so I paid $35 extra for it to arrive 2 weeks early when they told me it would come the day before Valentines Day… why threaten me saying it won’t be made or come in time and force me to pay for premium when I got it in 2 days from order and the premium service said it wouldn’t come till the 13… waste of money honestly and seemed like a scam to get extra out of me by putting me in a panic and worry.”

“Very disappointed with my book that I received, was very excited when making it as it looked so good. However on receiving I realised the picture on the front page was wonky and incorrect sizings, I have tried contacting but have yet to receive a response. Very expensive for bad printing. Not happy at all.”

“I purchased a book for my boyfriend for his birthday and paid in USD ($80+) only to receive the book from a Canadian company that is literally a 5 minutes drive from my house. I am really annoyed by this. Why did I not have to pay in Canadian dollars and why did I pau shipping when I could have picked it up myself.... not pleased with this entire process....”

“A really nice present for someone special in your life. Great fun to make also! Easy you navigate on the website and easy to order! Just make sure when you receive the book that the right characters are in it the WHOLE WAY THROUGH!!! (I seemed to become someone new and my partner also half way through my book I ordered, for about 20 pages...... I then had to reorder a new book off them free of charge) if something is wrong with the book make sure and contact them straight away to fix it, they have an email address.”

“Hi. The book is a great idea and I would enjoy it more if every page wasn’t doubled up. It’s incredibly expensive for that. Having a second page each and every time is a complete waste of paper and time. It takes the element of love out of it. It actually gets quite boring and frustration to read. I would highly suggest that the company either makes the book smaller and cheaper or come up with other things to say on the extra pages. I am quite unimpressed and am not looking forward to having to explain about the double pages on Christmas Day. What a waste of time.”
