Charged £23 for just over an hour's parking! Followed a sign which encouraged Mid-stay carpark for dropping off - half hour free, but no warning of cost thereafter until you get to the exit barrier (Did I miss something? Should have read airport website first) Be warned - Luton want us all to pay for their redevelopment... by stealthy means.

Appalling experience with parking at Luton this weekend - unable to prebook short term, priority parking so had to prebook mid term. Turn up with 30 mins spare and NO spaces!!! Drove round for 30 mins with a number of other cars trying find space, told we could park in disabled but no spaces there either. Eventually squeezed car into end corner spot to avoid missing flight. Now worried about car all weekend..... Very angry and very stressful.

Car park is far to expensive £7 for 40 mins.£2-50 for 15 mins. I just wanted to drop a person off and say bye.After a long and slow (50mph on most of the roads) drive I have never paid so much for so little.its a rip off From Karen.in LEEDS

Used the LSCP in August/September 2015. A truly shocking experience. Number plate recognition recorded the wrong number plate on the ticket. And then, on return, a terrible 45 minute wait for a bus from the terminal back to the car park. (Some in the queue had been there longer) And this was mid-afternoon. Thankfully it wasn't cold or raining because there's no adequate cover while your life passes by. The queues were huge and many failed to get on the bus at all! This meant that it was utter chaos at the car park bus stops as nobody could get off past the stacked up luggage. My advice - choose a different airport. Anywhere but Luton. Total rip-off, bad, bad service.

dreadful experience; went to the short term car park to meet my wife off her flight. Expected to have plenty of time as her flight was delayed, instead of which I was met with absolute chaos. There was no parking available, no marshalling of the parking so that the whole place was grid locked. After 1/2hour fruitlessly trying to get in and out during which time I probably covered two rows of the park I fought my way out and went to the long term. I paid £7 pounds for the privilege of not being able to park, and a further charge at the long term,- oh and I missed my wife's arrival Come on Luton, buck up, if the car park is full, tell people don't just take their money for the privilege of passing through your barrier

Plane late rip off Then had to go to mid term £7.00 charge,when you are driving to the airport to collect people how do you know if it's late? You look at the flights progress before you leave to be faced with a a delay. Money making mission I think

It does London Luton airport no favours that the front of the terminal is a complete dump, the short stay carpark is extremely expensive and you would think that for the amount of money that you have to pay to use it they would at least maintain it !! the surface is very bad and the signage non existant. welcome to rip off britain.

this airport is like been in a third world country a joke, how can u possibly charge someone 23pounds for a parking of 1hour 5mins, absolute broad daylight robbery.nothing but a ripped of a shame, gatwick and heathrow are ten times better and cheaper, i dont understand how they can get away with charging 23pounds for an hours parking absolutely ridiculous. will never use this ripped of a car park.

short term car park charges £7 for 40 mins a complete rip off, as a comparison Heathrow terminal 5 charges £3.50 for 30 minutes, a third world experience at Luton....

Used mid-term aka mid-stay (unhelpful inconsistency confusing to foreigners arriving for the first time) to pick someone up. Website said Bay 1 was where the shuttle came and left for the mid-term park so I asked my friend to go there, only to find it was in fact Bay 3 - this lost us 5-10 minutes through confusion to find each other so could not take the first shuttle. Finding a space to park in mid-stay was very difficult and time consuming - signage pointed out to 'spaces' which didi not exist. So I ended up paying an exorbitant £7 because I could not complete the operation within the free 30 minute period. Road surface in car park was just unmade up stones. The whole experience was frustrating and bad. Stansted is vastly superior in this respect.

I am a regular customer, I use the parking once every three months. However I will not use it any more. Very disappointing. I was charged 21 pounds for 1 hour and 20 minutes!. I was not able to arrive to the parking on time because of the Luton Airport is under reforms, so it was absolutely crowded, long queues to get the bus, no air conditioner, just one machine to pay, parking neglected .... It is not acceptable to charge this amount when the airport is being reformed. I think is not fair and it is an abuse. I will not use this parking any more.

I made a booking at the mid stay car park for Saturday 13th June. I was dismayed to find when I arrived at approximately 10.30 am there were no parking spaces. I along with many others toured the car park for a space. In the end after 30 minutes I parked where it said "Staff Parking" and reported it to the office. I understand from the company overseeing the parking on behalf of Luton Airport that this is an everyday occurrence for Luton Airport to overbook. I was travelling on my own and was not a good start to my journey. I will not park there again.

Last week I dropped off someone at the dropping off zone in front of the terminal . It was utter chaos a queue to get in , and equally chaos to get out , who in hell designed this system . The £2.50 charge was just rubbing salt into wound , you should rename Luton airport as Dick Turpin airport this charge is daylight robbery

Parts of the long-term car park are covered in rubble. I have on two occasions suffered a flat tyre soon after leaving the car park. I am sure that this cannot be a coincidence. It is a disgrace to charge for parking if the road surface is going to damage people's cars.

YOUR EMPLOYEE WAS TURNING EVERYONE AWAY FROM MID TERM CAR PARK AS HE CLAIMED I WAS FULL AND IT HAD TO BE PREBOOKED. SO a long traffic jam ensued with cars trying to access main Terminal areas and drop their passengers off. Some, disembarked early and dragged their luggage on the road to catch their flights - oTHERS. LIKE ME, WERE DIRECTED TO paid drop off area just to drop a passenger, who would have otherwise caught the shuttle from mid term parking. FREE FOR 30 MINS ? Where's the profit in that?

Parked in the short-stay car park. Bays were not clearly marked out. Lots of dead-ends requiring you to turn around in tight spaces. Over-crowded. Poor surface. Poor signage.

The carpark surface is of very poor quality, uneven with pot holes. The drainage is also very poor, I arrived in the rain and there where large deep puddles. The bay markings and layout are also very poor I drove to the end of a long bay that was full and was a dead end. Overall very poor.
