Too expensive and too far from terminal

The short term car park is a disgrace. No proper tarmac surface, but instead a crumbling, pothole filled mess, which over time has turned into a gravel appearance because of the dilapidation. Makes me shamed to be British when this is the best we can do at one of our major airports.

The parking is a shambles, very badly maintained, security is lax and my car got dented by someone else parking too close (since there's no bays painted anywhere). Disgusting.

Went to Belfast for the day with friends on a flight at 07:00. Left Watford at 05:00. New link road with very slow speed limit moves the traffic past the site of the old roundabout saving time, but this has now moved the congestion a mile and a half nearer the airport and clogged the approach road. Having parked, we saw a bus approaching the adjacent bus stop, only to see a sign on it saying "Sorry - Bus full". Stood in bus stop for same bus to return, driver sensibly indicated that we could get on as it went into the car park so that we didn't get left behind again. Due to clogged approach road we crawled our way up the hill and finally arrived in the terminal at 5:50 more than 20 minutes after arrival in the car park. For this we paid the princely sum of £19 as I had neglected to book more than 48 hours ahead. The automatic number plate readers didn't work, either going in or coming out, but then I am used to this at Luton where they have never worked in either the mid term or long term car parks whenever I have used them over several years. Added to the fact that it costs £2.50 just to drop off a passenger at LTN the experience as a motorist is lamentable.

I have rated this very poor because of the problem on exiting. We tried to exit within the permitted time, having pre-booked this. However, on inserting the ticket at the barrier I was informed that £133 was due. I repeated the process with the same result. This was at approx. 2330 on the 24th May. Fortunately my dilemma was seen on CCTV and your officer on duty phoned through and asked about my problem. I told him, plus my name and booking reference and after he had checked these detail he opened the barrierand all was well. Such an error should not happen, particularly late at night when we were stressed after the flight and anxious to get home. The officer himself was very helpful.

Bus was over 10 mins in collect us driver not good ticket machine would not let me out had prepaid got a refund in the end

There weren't any spaces available until we circled the car park for 20 minutes. A bit of a cheek given the price. No-one there to direct you to a space

such a rip off! Pre booked and payed £45 online, easyjet then delay flight on the way home so went over by an hour on my allotted time. And the car park barrier wouldn't budge until I put in my credit card and took another £74. As a female travelling alone on a business trip late at night I found the whole experience a bit stressful. Will not be using the short stay car park again as the flight ended up being a quarter of the price of flying.

Hello Left my car at the priority car park at Luton between 8th May and 12th May and with regards I have to inform you all that they did provided me with a completely rubbish job . I dropped my BMW X6 all in good shape and when picked up back had 5miles extra even though they told me should have more than 1 mile . However the worst thing is that my car had a scratch at the back and another scratch and slightly bent by the look of it on the right side back door!! When picked up my car they rushed me to sign telling me all good with my vehicle . It was nearly mid night so I was not able to see it right away as the car was dirty too but spotted everything 1st thing in the morning. Called them and up to this moment nothing is been done and spoke to Richard ( duty manager) and according to him at the time he will call back but guess what 3 weeks later and nothing still!! I already sorted out my car at my own expenses but people watch out they can damage your car too. Not to mention how hard is to get hold of them!! Completely crap service and if I could I would have rated them minus ten stars!!???????????????????????? avoid them at all cost! Rubbish service . Regards Cristina Sara

I washed the car when dropped off. Car was covered in a white dust on return, and whoever drove the car was obviously smoking as the car reaked of smoke.

Your website is inaccurate and/or inaccessible. i have been trying for some time to book on-line from several computers but each time the system quotes and then fails when I try to book. The latest debacle today (a) i have input dates and the system is (incorrectly) telling me that the return date is before the departure date, and (b) it has then sent me this survey when i have not yet parked at the airport!! If it were not for the fact that I want to park at the airport short stay car park for convenience.................

Virtually impossible to find a space to park. No lines to show where to park leading to vehicles not being parked effeciently.

My flight was delayed for 1.5 hours and when I exited the car park I was slightly later than my time and you charged me more for that 1.5 hours than you did for my original booking!!!

There needs to be more than one exit gate from the the long term car park and surely there have to be more up to date methods of exiting rather than having to stick a ticket into a machine, which appeared to be faulty at the time we tried to use it - or it should be able to read the ticket whichever way round or whichever way up the ticket is inserted!

My comments relate to Drop Off/Pick Up Parking Costs only and whilst £2.50 may be considered excellent value IF you are on site for a maximum 15 Minutes it is a complete RIP OFF if you a simply driving in dropping off/picking up and driving straight out !!! On top of that No Change given - another RIP OFF. If Gatwick and Heathrow are perfectly able to manage this situation for no charge how can Luton fail so miserably? Its only because 1 Star was the lowest rating to award that I gave that. Sort it out.

Awful. Spent half an hour driving around the car park trying to find somewhere to park. The "Free Spaces" sign led all around the car park to a dead end. The shuttle bus took significantly longer than the 10-15 mins to arrive. Will not be using again at any point in the future.
