I ordered a set of 2.4” tyres and I got 2.2” tyres but I didn’t want to have to wait for new ones so I had to stick with the slimmer tyres

Have spent $3k + at lux last few months. Communication by email - Jack or Jake has been positive and usually helpful. Only disappointing aspect on a $2k wheel build, I asked for rear cog etc. this wasn’t fitted and was sent in pack with spacers but without locknut. Now it’s turned out 3 extra weeks to complete the build.

It completely went over my head when setting up the order, nevertheless, we were glad we could get a locknut sent out as soon as you bought it to our attention. Overall experience good apart from bike coming with the wrong petals Had to steal the panels off my bike so my son could ride it that day

Hey, you people are ace to be doing this. 5 star but i recently purchased some odyssey 24" tyres because specs said 100 psi on your site. They arrived and 35-65. I already had 65 psi max tyres on

Have dealt with you guys a few times, normally good. Sadly i cant say the same this time. This order was paid for in the 3rd of July and we still dint have the parts. I realise its a tough time at the moment but some correspondence regarding the issues would have been nice. Cheers

Hi Charles, Thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback. We certainly do take on everything in the effort to provide better service for our customers. We have recently relocated and our new showroom is now open at: 1 Burke Street, Woolloongabba. While the vast majority of our customers are online only and will never step foot in our showroom, we will always value the core BMX connection to a physical location. Current COVID restrictions have certainly affected our ability to provide a safe retail experience. In the interest of sticking to social distancing regulations, we are limited to having 6 customers in the showroom at any time. Package arrived in a very timely manner, but at a cost. There was only small bubble wrap around the frame and the box was all but destroyed in shipping. Upon unpacking and inspecting, the top bearing race on the top tube had been dented in on the front from the box being dropped/lack of packing protection. I ordered a set of handlebars and they had more packaging material than the whole frameset.

I normally put 5 stars but this time only 3 cause the postal time was too long. You might say that that is not Luxbmx but I disagree. If I was the ceo-boss I?d contact them and say customers are getting a great service off us and let down by the postal side of things. If the postal service is not providing the expected service they shouldn?t charge LUX full tilt.

The brake itself is fine but the short cable wrong length for our bike so inadvertently to make my own pulley cable

Ease of use of the site was good and email communications after the purchase were great. I?m not sure if the bike was assembled by GT or Lux, but the chain guard was not fitted correctly and was rubbing on the back of the chainring and crank. A couple of the screws were cross threaded for the chain guard as it did look like a ?one size fits all? type chain guard, one of the screws looks like it didn?t line up so the surrounding area is very scratched up. The spacers on the back of the rear brake that have the concave surface were 90 degrees out, which could easily come loose and cause the brakes to malfunction as they would be quite loose. Overall I would use them again, but would definitely hope for a better assembly of the bike next time.
