Had a few issues with my first order but have spoken to the guys and will give them another go. I know first impressions are important but no one is perfect and sometimes mistakes happen. We need to support local so give everyone a second chance.

Product perfect as described. Only downside is their shipping, took 2.5 weeks to get to me.

Hey Brendon, Thanks for your review. Normally freight is a bit quicker to WA but a combo of a train derailment plus Black Friday volume slowed deliveries down. We do express post options that go via air which can help speed stuff up across this big old country of ours. We hope you'll give us another chance under regular circumstances :) Thanks! Mitch

Was heaps slower than first purchase. Was nearly a month. But I will still purchase from them. When they do contact,it's great.

Hey Glenn, We're sorry to hear about the damage from the courier. Did you happen to get any photos of the box showing mishandling? Shoot us through some photos of the damaged bars as well. We wish we could deliver everything ourselves so we could stop this kind of thing from happening. It's definitely frustrating to have this kind of thing happen. Thanks, Mitch.

Was a bit disappointed when I got an email saying that they didn’t have the part I ordered in stock even though it said it was in stock online so I had to wait a while for it to get here but all in all product came in perfect condition

Bought new tyres for my sons bmx(also previously purchased bmx and parts from this store) but had to order in as none in stock. Gave my phone number and details to get a call back as I had explained that the bike was getting shipped interstate in a weeks time. I was told sure no worries delivery within 2-4 days and we will call in 2-4 days but after 6 days I called and the guy I spoke to struggled to find the order but assured me it "should be in" so I went into the shop to try and collect anyway and again waited for them to be located. The warehouse is a shambles with stuff everywhere, no wonder it was a struggle to locate anything. I got them eventually and fitted them just in time. Every time I have been in the store, staff are too "busy" talking to there buddies to talk you and barely show any interest. You supply great products but the customer service is underwhelming at best.

Hey guys pleased with how true the wheels are and the work, however there were marks on the rear rim and paint off the spokes , I understand you can take paint off when lacing wheels but probably the worst marking I’ve seen personally, doesn’t really matter as parts get marked and damaged when riding anyways but it’s not the best look to see newly build parts already marked

I bought this water bottle with tube for my backpack to use while bushwalking . I messaged customer service to determine the length of the tube ( 50-54cm ) which I worked out would be just ok . Unfortunately for the tube to function for the whole contents of the bottle it needs to be at the bottom of the bottle which means it ithen isn’t long enough to use without taking it out of my backpack which defeats the purpose of why I purchased it . Hey Trevor, Thank you for taking the time to review us, we are super sorry this has happened to your water bottle, and we would love to come up with a solution to this problem, could you please send an email to: help@luxbmx.com It is great to remind ourselves that these water bottles are mainly designed to be used on a BMX track or at the skatepark, which is when the long straw comes into place, as the length of the straw tube is long enough to reach under the riders' full-face helmet allowing them to stay hydrated without having to remove their helmet every time they need a drink of water. I understand your frustration when you would have been trying to use this water bottle as a "hiking camel bag" as this water bottle would have performed terribly in that setting. Thank you again for the feedback, as we might look into the idea of bringing a hiking water bag into the market! STAYLUX

Pretty good communication from LUXBMX however paid extra for faster shipping and it was the slowest shipping ever. Was aware of the delay from ordering to getting the item shipped. Once shipped, delivery took a long time despite paying for fast delivery. Seemed to be a waste of money paying extra.

I ordered a set of 2.4” tyres and I got 2.2” tyres but I didn’t want to have to wait for new ones so I had to stick with the slimmer tyres

Have spent $3k + at lux last few months. Communication by email - Jack or Jake has been positive and usually helpful. Only disappointing aspect on a $2k wheel build, I asked for rear cog etc. this wasn’t fitted and was sent in pack with spacers but without locknut. Now it’s turned out 3 extra weeks to complete the build.
