“Ordering process, good. Most of the food items, the ones that seemed to be branded Mackenzie, were excellent with simple and spot-on heating instructions. However, the Green Beans Almandine were terrible, and releating instructions were flat wrong. These seemed to be a 3rd party product included in the deluxe fillet mignon meal. After following oven instructions for unthawed product, beans were essentially uncooked, undersalted, and over-garliced. Pretty grim and a major disappointment. Filet was excellent, crab cake was excellent, hors d'ourves were excellent, potato was excellent, and volcanto cakes were excellent. Beans were less than 1 star fit mostly for the trash bin.”
“I ordered the vintage design Christmas cookies and they are beautiful. Delivery was on time, but there was some confusion in the e-mail notices that I received. After receiving one e-mail telling me that the cookies were on their way, I received another one apologizing for sending me a notice about a shipment I had already received. Of course, nothing had been delivered yet so I was at a loss as to the meaning of the apology.”
“We have ordered before and it has always been a great experience. This time we were sent the wrong order BUT it was handled beautifully. We were told to keep the items delivered and received a phone call letting us know our original order would be sent to arrive in two days at no cost. So it was handled very well.”
“On November 12th, 2025 I placed a Thanksgiving order with the company, I did not receive any emails or notifications letting me know the status of my order. I called the company on November 26th,2025 and was told my order went out and was to be shipped to be by overnight delivery. It arrived on Wednesday, 11/26/25 by the stated time. But upon receiving and opening the order, it did not include my Cranberry Sausage Stuffing. I called to inquire a# to why and my operator Abagail was dismissive of my complaint and tried to get me off the phone as quick as she could. Rude. The food did not have the taste as comforting as it had in previous years. The Cornish Hens wer3 bland. The stuffing inside them were runny and lacking flavor. Very disappointed, especially for the amount of money I spent.”
We are so glad that your order arrived on time and in good condition, but very sorry it was missing an item. That's not what we want to happen. “Food advertised as gourmet, was not even close. Mashed potatoes were gray and tasteless. Stuffing was simple. Very disappointed for the $200+ I paid. Not nearly enough food for 4 people.”
