“EVerything we have tried so far is delicious. But we are very limited in what we can order due to the fact that i am on a low sodium diet and many of your meals are very high in sodium If there is something you can do about that, it would be great.”

“I have ordered many times from this company. The food is delicious and comes well packed with easy instructions to follow. THis last order however my mom didn't receive two items (the linzer cookies which are her favorite) and instead received some lamb which she doesn't eat. I've opened a case with mackenzie so we will see if they can figure out what happened and send her the cookies. She's 89 and in another state so I can't really help her identify what kind of lamb or help her find the box it came in.”

Although the redipients were thrilled with their gift, I was disappoint in the "gift card" enclosed. I just happened to be there when the package arrived. The recipients were ready to discard the "invoice-type" piece of paper that included the note from the sender. I asked if there was a gift card enclosed and they said no. Then they happened to see the note included on the "invoice-looking' piece of paper. It would definately enhance the presentation if the gift card from the sender was upgraded to a nice little true gift card and not just put on the paper that lists the contents of the box. Thank you.”

“The Prime rib was great. Potato Gratin wasn't very cheesy, and had an unusual flavor, which from the ingredients may have been nutmeg, and seems inappropriate for this dish. The nutmeg (if that was the unusual flavor) ruined the dish - very disappointing. The Turducken was delicious and the stuffing was fantastic, but when we cut the string off, it fell apart. The Broccoli and Cauliflower was supposed to have been made with four cheeses, but wasn't very cheesy (very bland).”
“The cakes were great but the packaging on the cake with a sticky topping was not great. The cellophane stuck to the top and pulled up the topping. It was messy. Also better instructions would be helpful”

“Overall I love Mackenzie. The cake rolls do the job but aren't very flavorful. The red velvet isn't red velvet (which should be chocolate), it's just red. The breakfast casserole is smaller than expected (it says 8 servings, but is closer to 4, it is however delicious. The croissants are the best frozen croissants I've ever tried. I will definitely order from Mackenzie again.”

“I enjoy looking through this catalog whenever it's delivered. This was my first order, a dessert being used for Christmas. I was given the choice of shipping dates, which I requested to be delayed by a week or so just because I thought it would be fresher. However, the item shipped immediately and arrived earlier than anticipated. Freshness was not in fact a problem because the cookies were shrink-wrapped and not going to spoil, I just had to find a safe place to keep it for two weeks so it would not get knocked around and disassemble. I look forward to possibly ordering something in the future, as the items all look unbelievable.”
