“I read the ingredients online & it said nothing about nitrites (which I'm allergic to). I didn't check the label on the box until after I got sick. I had to throw away the rest. They were so tasty. I really enjoyed them. I thougt I'd finally found something I could eat. When I contacted customer service to chat about it they weren't the least bit interested, almost rude.”

“After cake was shipped, it was held from delivery fora day, so needless to say the cake was thawed and icing was melted and stuck to the top. Cake itself was great as always but not the same without the icing. This was a gift to someone.”

“The milk chocolate egg containing a marshmallow chick was decribed and looked in the catalog as much better than in person. The eggshell was stuck to the chick to some extent or another in each of the six dggs, and the chick pretty much disintigrated in the struggle to separate the two. Other than that, the egg carton and eggs arrived promptly.”

“Dont buy from them. They do not stand behind their products. Spent too much money for a dozen waddles eggs with a marshmallow peep inside. The chocolate was "ok" but the peep inside was hard like rubber. It was not edible and I was afraid my someone would choke on it.”

“Worst food I have ever purchased, I ordered Sheperds pie, came with dried beef and very small mashed potatoes covering, no lamb as expected, dry and tasteless. Will never order from them again. Save yourself and your guests this tasteless dish. When asked for refund they refused. Poor Business ethics. Do yourself a favor stay away from this business.”

“Food was delivered "damaged" The tin and crust of the Shephards were dented in and broken crust. At the price you pay for product I would think they could provide better packaging and a heavier tin. Salty
Clam Chowder was good but a bit salty. Weird that it comes in a plastic bag
Finally the cake was awful . Frosting was cracked and broken apart upon arrival. The rosettes were all on one side of the cake. Could not taste the Baileys in the cake at all. Just a very very rich and dry chocolate cake. Poor quality - especially when you consider it cost $50”

“I was pleased to see the packaging of the food and thought my Thanksgiving would be perfect. I followed the instructions on each package and I am sorry to say what should have taken the max of 2 hours to prepare took me all afternoon. After removing each of the dishes from my oven to find they were not done and still cold in the middle I ended up microwaving each dish to have a dinner served hot. I was extremely disappointed and will never order from you again.”
I am so sorry you had trouble with preparation, the dinner you ordered if prepared from thawed (recommended) is designed to be done in 30-45 minutes. I see UPS did indeed take longer that they should have to get this to you, it was shipped with priority overnight service and they took 3 days to delivery it. “On November 12th, 2025 I placed a Thanksgiving order with the company, I did not receive any emails or notifications letting me know the status of my order. I called the company on November 26th,2025 and was told my order went out and was to be shipped to be by overnight delivery. It arrived on Wednesday, 11/26/25 by the stated time. But upon receiving and opening the order, it did not include my Cranberry Sausage Stuffing. I called to inquire a# to why and my operator Abagail was dismissive of my complaint and tried to get me off the phone as quick as she could. Rude. The food did not have the taste as comforting as it had in previous years. The Cornish Hens wer3 bland. The stuffing inside them were runny and lacking flavor. Very disappointed, especially for the amount of money I spent.”

“The food was shipped correctly and received in excellent condition. However, the flavors were not what I expected. the lamb shanks in portobello sauce were very tender, but without much flavor. They lacked seasoning! The sauce was especially bad. the Bailey's Irish cream cake was moist, but again lacked flavor. I detected no Bailey's in it at all.”

“Only one item of my entire order was above average -- the beignets. The lemon cake was very dry, the quiche was so-so, the bacon was fatty, and the pumpkin roll was dry (delivered in broken container.) Needless to say I won't be spending that much money on any other items from your organization.”

“The half side of salmon was received thawed. There was no dry ice included in the order; just one tiny frozen packet of ice. I called customer service and was told someone would contact me to correct the issue. No one ever did. Mackenzie is usually very good about their customer service but I have to give you a two on this one.”
“The food looks amazing in the photos, but the three people I have gifted it to said, "ehhhhh"... (not so great).
My worst problem, is that I ordered something online to be shipped on a very specific later date, and they flubbed up and sent it right away, about a month early! When I opened a 'case' to discuss it with them, they called and left a message, and when I returned the call, they got all weird and wouldn't discuss it. I'm not going to odering from them anymore. Not great food, not great service, but really high prices. No thanks.”
