“Meh!😒 Bits and pieces of lobster, some of which was rubbery and the flavor was very off putting. Finally, who decided to add chopped vegetables to the bisque? I never have had lobster bisque containing chopped vegetables. This product is not worth the price!”
“My package arrived with a whole in the dry ice bag and most of the dry ice had evaporated. The food still appeared to be frozen, but it's concerning. Photos have been sent by email per advise from chat agent.”
This is very normal, we do ship with the intention that most of the dry ice will dissipate during transit, so you don't have to dispose of it upon receipt. I see Customer Service reached out to you as well to address the concern.

“Only one item of my entire order was above average -- the beignets. The lemon cake was very dry, the quiche was so-so, the bacon was fatty, and the pumpkin roll was dry (delivered in broken container.) Needless to say I won't be spending that much money on any other items from your organization.”

“The half side of salmon was received thawed. There was no dry ice included in the order; just one tiny frozen packet of ice. I called customer service and was told someone would contact me to correct the issue. No one ever did. Mackenzie is usually very good about their customer service but I have to give you a two on this one.”

My worst problem, is that I ordered something online to be shipped on a very specific later date, and they flubbed up and sent it right away, about a month early! When I opened a 'case' to discuss it with them, they called and left a message, and when I returned the call, they got all weird and wouldn't discuss it. I'm not going to odering from them anymore. Not great food, not great service, but really high prices. No thanks.”

“I recieved both your onion soup and eggplant parm. as Christmas gifts. The onion soup was good but I was very disappointed wth the eggplant dish. I used to make this dish and it came out fine. The eggplant I recieved, after cooking in the oven was Mushy and slimey and the flavor was not great. I ended up cooking it longer hoping it would firm up but it did not. I am concerned because I ordered gift cards from you for my friends and I'm concered they will have a bad experience.”

The result was an "ok" salmon, definitely not what I'm used to from Mackenzie (especially considering the cost). I will think twice about ordering next time.”

It was looks over substance. The petit fours were also dry or freezer- burned. Not very satisfying and I would not order them again. The tira misu was fine. Not the best I have ever had but fine. Overall, I ordered all my desserts from Mackenzie for the holidays and probably will not do that again.”
