“Was wowed by the seeming quality as displayed in the catalog and online. Took the risk and decided to make a relatively large order for a holiday party. Ordered the stacked cookie tree. Photographs made it seem that it was a little more robust in size. Imagine my chagrin to receive something no taller than the length of my hand for almost $37, other items that I ordered seem to be a bit small in size as well. For the prices, definitely won’t be ordering again, as I feel like the product has been misrepresented in general. Will be displaying these desserts on 28 December. Hopefully they will not disappoint in flavor.”
“The order was received & shipped promptly, but I should have checked the box before my event, which I didn't do. First, I received an entree, not the appetizer bites, so check your box before you want to serve it; Second, the plastic container holding the food with the option of putting it in the oven, started melting, so I needed to transfer the food to a heatproof container.”

The Broken Apple Pie baked greasy, a sugar bomb. Heavy crust was baked but apples raw...said feeds 4...pie was in a small pot pie pan. No way. Inedible.”
“The lobster pie was tasty...interestingly sent to different people..one loved the flavor ,but thought the lobster was a bit lacking ..the other receiver loved the pie overall!
The crab dip was incredibly fishy and not enticing..also the scallop au gratin in shell was minimal, ( not as shown in the brochure) and was also 'fishy' and not great tasting.
I do recommend the mashed potatoes with crème Fraiche.. lovely.”

“The gateau basque was so good I'd buy that again but never got to try the stuffed mushroom casserole. The box looked fine so I put it in my freezer but the day I did open it to heat up I saw that the cellophane was lifted off where the plastic container was broken apart so we didn't want to risk eating plastic pieces.”
“I have ordered a few things from Mackenzie. Each time I have thought it would be the last order, but I kept trying. Today my opinion is one you will not appreciate, but you asked. I think your products are just okay, nothing special and overpriced.
What I really don't understand is you charge more in shipping by the dollar amount. It would seem you would be better off giving a customer a break if they spend that kind of money.
