I was very irritated to find the exact wallpaper I purchased from you at Menards for less than half the price of what I paid at Mahones. I dont like finding out that someone has played me on my ignorance. I specifically purchased something online to get a unique look and come to find out that you can grab it off the shelf at the local cheap-o big box store. Disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. As an online retailer the pricing on our site is provided to us by each vendor and we have to abide by each vendors pricing policy. We don't keep any stock on hand, everything is ordered straight from our vendors as we get orders for it. Local or big box stores may purchase stock in bulk and get discounted bulk pricing which they can then price however they'd like since they are selling out of a store front from stock they purchased and have on hand.

Unfortunatley I was given an incorrect quote the first time on order #157880 of $66.00 per roll. When I was ready to place the order I was told that the quote was incorrect and that the Thibault grass cloth was actually $198.00 per roll. I did not want to continue with an order.

I ordered a length of fabric & paid for it, and was only told after I paid that the fabric was on back order for 8 weeks. Pretty poor service. Can’t say if the item was on time or whether it was damaged because I’m still waiting for it.

I'm so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Unfortunately, we don't stock any materials here in our showroom so sometimes we find out something is out of stock after we get an order for it. We always email our customers right away to let them know about any stock issues and ask if they would like to continue to wait or cancel the order and receive a refund. It looks like you agreed to wait for this backorder instead of canceling. We hope the stock for your order arrives soon!

My order placed beginning of September 2022 and didn’t hear back so I called and was told my items back order and will be available by end of September !!!first week of October I called again asking what is the updates no emails or communications as my items should be back in stock and should be shipped as I am expecting per your information the customer service then informed me that my items were available per manufacturer but the order was not placed the whole time although I was charged when I placed the order beginning of September !!!!!! Then she told me I will follow up with the manufacture and send you email , I received email on 10/06/22 telling me you should receive your items in 2 weeks and sorry for missing your order ,…. Whatever. On October 17th/22 I called asking where is the tracking number or when I am receiving wor who is delivering it or any information and the answer was it will take 2 weeks (again) no reason ???? And that she will check with the manufacture again and will reply me and again as the moment I am writing this review I didn’t hear anything . Disappointing experience not happy with them .

Hi, Cynthia! It looks like we had been in communication with you (as recently as yesterday morning) in regards to your order being lost by FedEx and we were working on getting a replacement sent out. We are just waiting on that new tracking for you and that will be emailed to you as soon as we receive it from Thibaut.

My installer had me over order. I’ve tried contacting customer service several times. I was finally contacted 3 weeks later with a general answer that had nothing to do with my issue. I’m very frustrated with Mahones. Do better please

Hi, Tracey! I'm sorry you were unhappy with the wallpaper you ordered. It looks like you ordered a grasscloth and due to it being a natural product made from grass, shading can vary throughout the rolls. This is just a characteristic of this type of wallpaper. If you did not like the color, a return could have been initiated for a full refund. Samples are also available to order to see the product in person before making a decision. It can be hard to shop for wallpaper online when you aren't seeing it in person.

Let me preface this review by stating that I purchased all wallpaper from Mahone's from 1971 to 2006. I moved and returned to Lynchburg last year. On April 19 I selected three double rolls of wallpaper. On that date I paid half of the cost of wallpaper and installation. I shared my shock when I saw installation cost was over 400 dollars for ONE WALL. I was told that was the cost. After the installation date was changed twice, it was installed 2 months later. I went into the shop to pay the second half of the bill and shared how I felt the installation cost was absurd. I was told that it is usually close to $20 per roll and I SHOULD have been told that was the MINIMUM charge. I could have had a far greater area papered for that minimum fee. I paid $70 per roll! The employee who assisted me in April no longer worked at Mahone's; the woman at the desk said she was sorry I did not know I could have ordered and had more wallpaper installed. SERIOUSLY? I was EXTREMELY pleased with Kevin Saunder's work.

The grasscloth wallpaper I bought has been horrible. When you try to hang it, the coloring comes off on your hands and you can't even begin to match up the seams or hang it without there being blemishes in it!! This was EXPENSIVE wallpaper. I'm probably going to have to order more wallpaper, but it WON'T BE FROM MAHONES. This has been a very expensive lesson.

I will never do business with them again . I bought 4 rolls of wallpaper which I only needed 3 and the left over 1 was never opened and they would not refund me without me having to pay the delivery postage fee and the restocking fee, so I decided it was better to keep it. Therefore I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future

I had high hopes after speaking directly with Mahones via phone. I received this survey prior to receiving my order. The order was placed on January 21 and now, 24 days later, I still do not have my wallpaper. I called after receiving the survey and I hope to receive soon! AND the questions don't fit as No One made delivery. It didn't arrive so no damage. And 24 days and counting...
