“The first $5 sample of a mural wallpaper was too small and only had 2 of the 7 colors in the pattern and none of the details! I paid an extra $10 to receive a larger sample. The problem was resolved but why would they have sent a inappropriate sample in the first place!”

“Sample took a long time to arrive, with no update by Mahones. As I am eager to get started on my project, ten days after that order, I ordered the same sample from another company. Theirs arrived first. I am placing a large order with that other company, as I have the impression it provides better service.”

Hi, Ariel! Colors can be tricky when looking at them online. Samples are available to to see the product in person before ordering.

“Online shopping: the choice of swatches is plentiful, but the web site is hard to use. The page keeps loading from the bottom and it's difficult to go back and forth between pages because you don't know where you are. It's hard to return to items for a second look. I ordered and paid for a swatch more than a week ago, and still have not received it.”

“The price was very competitive. I was disappointed though that the website states a 25-48 hour turnaround time for processing but I waited five days and never received a shipment confirmation even though my card had already been charged. I called to inquire and all of a sudden they said my order was shipped that day. In reality they only created the shipping order but it wasn’t shipped until the nect day. I sent a follow up email but never received a response. Customer service needs improvement.”

“While I appreciate the great prices and samples available through Mahones, I would suggest they update their search function to reset at the place last viewed. It is extremely frustrating and time-consuming, when searching for products, to be sent back to the start of the search, again and again, after clicking on items for details. Thank you.”

“The wallpaper is very nice and they had it to me quickly. However, please read return policy before purchasing! I thought I was buying single rolls and ended up with double rolls. The rolls were not clearly marked single v/s double. They refused to accept the return so now I overspent by $500!”

“Wallpaper is beautiful but not the shade shown in photo. Much duller. We would have returned it but Mahones charges a 25% fee for returns. That would have been almost $200. Learned our lesson to pay for a sample (even though they should be free, in our opinion.)”

“The wallpaper had a flaw, a repeated loss of color every e feet or so which looked like an error in the run. I was able to work around it by creative cutting, but it caused more work than it should have and obviously missed some quality control before shipping.”
