“One of my electric blinds doesn’t work and since January I have been trying to get it sorted and still nothing has been resolved it’s disgusting my sons room has been in darkness for 2 months as the blind is permeantly down as the battery ran out and the motor won’t recharge”
“Ordered shutters on 29th November. I’ve chased several times, and they have always lied about the delivery date. Today (12th Feb) after I chased again they said the order was lost in transit. They then cancelled the order and gave no option to have it redelivered. What a waste of 3 months - DO NOT ORDER”

Ordered a made to measure blind - After receiving no information I contacted them for an update. Eventually asked for a refund as we needed the blind urgently, which I received no problem.
However, a couple of weeks later I received an email saying I had received the blind and a refund and needed to send the blind back.
After numerous emails of arguing, I was sent a photo with the tracking details. The tracking showed a blind delivered to MAKE MY BLINDS with the photo of it on their premises.
I received no apology for this ridiculous interchange, or the stress it caused me. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.”

I recently had a disappointing experience with Make My Blinds, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. I placed an order for blinds with specific dimensions, expecting a seamless process and high-quality product. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of my expectations.
Upon receiving the blinds, I immediately noticed a substantial gap between the blinds and the wall, rendering them practically useless in terms of privacy. Despite my efforts to address this issue with the customer support team and providing clear photographic evidence of the problem, the response received was unsatisfactory.
The customer service representative acknowledged a deduction made for the 'Recess' sizing option, despite my order being placed with the 'Exact' sizing option. This miscommunication led to a significant deviation from the specified width of 39.5cm, causing a noticeable gap on either side of the blinds. The lack of attention to this crucial detail and failure to acknowledge the evidence provided is disheartening.
My attempts to seek a resolution have been met with inadequate responses, leaving me with blinds that not only fail to meet my original specifications but also compromise the privacy of my living space.
Overall, this experience has been characterized by poor communication, a lack of attention to detail, and an unsatisfactory resolution process. I expected a higher level of customer service and product quality from Make My Blinds, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them based on my recent experience.

“I have ordered Perfect Fit Roller blinds. I spent over £300 on the blinds for two windows. I measured everything as was per instructions. I also paid an additional insurance fee in case my measurements were wrong. However when the blinds arrived, the brackets turned out to be too small for my frames. My frames are quite standard. I spend a really long time emailing back and forth, and eventually they send me bigger brackets. I had to pay for shipping for the brackets. The brackets didn't work either. Even though I paid for incorrect measures insurance, apparently I am not eligible for any refund. They were also unable to provide me with brackets fitting my windows. I have wasted £300 and I have to chuck out the blinds. I do not recommend using this company for blinds. The blinds themselves are also not fitting the window - even with correct brackets I would have needed to re-order the size (even though I measured everything as per instructions). Their instructions lead to smaller measurements for the blinds than needed. Re-ordering mean also so much time wasted in negotiating with their support service, waiting for the blinds, trying to install them, etc. It's been nearly 2 months to figure out that the blinds are a complete waste.”
“Over a month now still waiting for my goods was sent tracking numbers that don't work when I asked for a number that worked I received a rude reply with no number that works don't buy they have not delivered the goods or refunded my money it's well over a month and no sight of my goods theif is what I call it”
“PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not order curtains from this company. The quality is horrific. Small curtains of material sewn together - very poor quality and look rubbish!
Their online measuring instructions are wrong they don’t tell you to add on 30mm to cover eyelet curtains - so they will come short ! They refuse to admit this even though it’s not mentioned anywhere on their online instructions . They refuse to replace / refund and are exceptionally poor quality curtains with a Join in them!
Good luck Trying to deal with customer services we’ve been going round in circles for months, they have a great inability to even answer any questions you ask and ignore the fact their instructions are incorrect

“Ordered a whole set of blinds for my home on 28-12-22, the blinds were delivered by courier sometime around 03-01-23, no notification, no text or email not even a note through my door that the blinds were left in the rain in my back garden. When I found the blinds they were soaked through from the rain. Spoke to customer services at Make my blinds who was sent copious images, but they refused to collect the blinds and refused a refund. I sent a carefully worded and polite email to the director who has just ignored me. Complete disgrace! Be careful everyone - the service has been shocking and awful ….!

“Warning to anyone looking for blinds currently about Make my blinds - please please avoid this company.
Order arrived later than we were told when we ordered. Opened the box to find a very different product to the one we ordered. We ordered a white voile Roman blind. Instead we were sent an opaque white blind. See the photo on the website and our photo. The detail of the window frame is visible through their photo and you can’t even see the frame of our window through ours.
Not to mention due to the thick lining they have used, the colour is now cream and not white (see 3rd photo). Their explanation being that the colour light look different in different lights - they’re in the same light!
It is clearly not what we ordered or wanted, and because they have labelled it as our order, we are stuck with it and they have taken our £110 for a blind we cannot use.
Please please avoid this company. They have been dishonest and their website is misrepresenting their product, with no way of getting a refund. We will have to take this further to trading standard / ombudsman”
“No contact from courier re delivery so I contacted "make my blinds" response was basically not interested, it's down to the courier. This suggest that once the courier has your package "make my blinds" are no longer interested.”
“Ordered a blackout blind 8 weeks ago and it never arrived despite being told three times it had been manufactured and dispatched. Now I’m told they don’t have my fabric choice and would I like to choose another. The blind was coming from their European factory? My blind had never actually been made! I’ve now cancelled the order!!”
“Blinds sent with the wrong fitting brackets. Explained the problem to Aimee who said she will get the correct ones sent to me ASAP. I recieved a package 3days later with the same wrong ones sent again. I went and purchased the correct ones from a local retailer. I emailed customer support to let them know they sent the wrong ones again. I recieved an email from Ness asking for a photo of proof that the wrong ones were sent, which I did. The reply from Ness was to give me instructions on how to fit a top brackets, I don't have a recess to fit them into. I sent her a photo of the blinds now fitted using the correct brackets I purchased and the reply was, "it was all my fault for ordering the wrong brackets TWICE!"
I didn't order brackets I ordered blinds. The company is responsible for sending the correct brackets, not me.
Never again.”
