“Hello I write this complaint I live in Concord New Hampshire your store Market Basket on the store Street downtown my brother and I were there we buy things all the time and we sit down sometimes away from the store it's a strip mall area don't bother nobody people told us to leave one time then we left then one day we wait for the bus and I see people sitting there just look like they're hanging around and what I don't understand is you are a company but yeah you in the back of your store area is a lot of homeless that trash it And people set no one says anything how long they stay and my brother would sit and relax feeling with cancer tumors in his brain and we would hang out a little bit with a fellow who has a dog to make my brother feel good with people that stress out people with cancer makes it worse but you guys have homeless and people who do other things stay around that area cops go in the back all the time do you think it's okay it's not we are loyal customers and I think it's full of Bologna thanks not”

“I had an awful experience with a Cashier named Dora at the Mancheter NH location on Elm St. She is very rude and then defends herself by saying she is not rude. Yes Dora you are extremely RUDE. I will no longer shop with Market Basket. I see Market Basket has poor reviews and I understand why and believe me it's not because of my review only it's because they need to seriously learn Customer Service Values and not just stick a body in there to cover short staffing issues ! “Today is 5/23/24, I went to Market Basket in Maynard store 087 around 12:37pm. I bought mango ataulfo 2 days ago and it was bad when I pelled it today. I asked the Cashier to exchange the bad mango for a good one. She called a supervisor, an older lady. I requested the exchange again and the supervisor asked for a receipt. I didn't have it, but I haven't had problems at this store returning bad produce without a receipt. The supervisor flatly said no, and when I insiste she said you have to talk to customer service. So I went to customer service. They asked me about the receipt, I didn't have to receipt. She asked me when I bought it, it was 2 days ago. Finally she gave me a good mango. But people (employees at Cashier they are about 4 peoples, they speak spanish, they talked about me while I was at customer service). I felt upset. And I went to customer service again explaint my feeling. Actually I wanna talk to the manager. But the mánager was not there or hiding. But when I was in the car they charged for 4 mangos, should 1 free because 1 exchanged. I went back to customer service and returned all. When she was done with transaction (refund). I said thank you. But she didn't say anything to me and didn't look at me. I was waiting finally she said have a good. I walked outside and I think she want to talk about with another customer service. I was looking at her again and she said can I help you?

“First of all I'd like to start by saying that everyone that I encounter that is an employee in Market Basket is always friendly working hard and happy to help! Secondly I stopped buying Market Basket snacker crackers because they just weren't cooked enough and they turned really mushy really quickly in My Soup. And even when I had peanut butter on them as a cracker they would fall apart. Well I tried buying a new box for the first time in a long time and I was very pleased to report that they were cooked dark and crunchy and they were delicious I don't know if this is something that you have changed or if it was an accident that I got to the Box but I will buy another box just to check it out. There was a point where I did complain about these crackers! Love Market Basket love their employees. God bless”
“Arrived home and had dinner and then unpacked purchases only to find that the lady who packed the groceries had put a smelly cleaning product in the same bag as food items. The young woman never stopped talking to the cashier the entire time she was filling my bags. Cashier's name on cash register tape: Venait. Baggers really need to learn how to separate food items from cleaning products and they need to stop the constant chatter in their foreign languages to the cashiers as well. . It is not only extremely rude, it leads to mistakes being made. Also, it would also be helpful if they were taught to put milk, eggs, butter, cheese and frozen products in the same bag--especially when warmer days are coming and items can melt in the heat.”

“Lowest prices in the area. But beware, check the expiration dates of everything. I learned my lesson having to bring back rancid items, or past the expiration date. Employees are often rude, even when they are just standing around doing nothing, if you ask a question, they just walk away, on several occasions. I'm not sure if it's the store, or the lack of accountability of their generation. They seem to think just being there is a reason to get paid. God forbid you ask them to check if something is in the storage room, since none is out in the store. The person asked several people, then ... nothing. It sucks when a handicapped person has to go to a different store because they cannot stock the shelves correctly or check if there is stock. Lazy, lazy, lazy. The managers do not know how to take care of all of their workers one by one. The cashiers in fact love to start drama, especially the teenagers who are lowlife.
