“Great quality however the sunflower colour I ordered second time round was far lighter in shade so could not complete the cardigan I started. Having to shop around to find the right shade.”

“I am very pleased with the wool I ordered. It has worked perfectly for me. Even the price is excellent. There is a group of OAPs here in London who I was doing the test run for. We have had so much trouble getting wool. It was so nice to be able to ring up and speak to somebody. We can’t use computers. It was made so easy and another order will be placed.. I have also recommend you to others. Thank you.”

Hi Angela, Thank you for your feedback! We're sorry to hear that you aren't always satisfied with the colours you receive in your bumper packs. Please note, these packs are pre-made, and colours may vary depending on the availability. You can always choose 20 colours of your choice which is the same price as the bumper pack. “I always use Marriner because their yarn is good quality at an inexpensive price. Being honest, I would like a wider range of colours in the Aran and chunky wool but otherwise I have found the service very good. My last order was delivered within 2 or 3 days of placing the order so it was very quick.”

“Marriner were quick and efficient with my yarn. They were also very polite, friendly and efficient when I phoned regarding the delivery company and a potential scam which I needed to check. The chunky yarn has been easy to crochet with, but I have yet to start my baby blanket kit so cannot comment on the baby 4 ply although it feels soft in the ball. I'm hoping the pattern will be easy to read and complete.”

“I do love your wool the price is great however I noticed with my last order several balls of yarn were not consistent with the thickness at times the yarn was similar to 3ply instead of the DK it was one even had a massive mass which I had to cut out. I use a lot of yarn for my standard knit knitting machine so the difference can show up very easily luckily it was hand knit this time so didn’t show as much. Hopefully now I have mentioned this the quality of the yarn can be checked to see what caused this problem which was on two different colours both the white and yellow DK.”

“When I ordered double knit from you recently, 10 lots, I didn’t realise it was 100% acrylic. I was expecting it to be wool, but by using finer knitting needles luckily it produced the same finish. The colours are lovely. From inexperienced knitter.”

“Although in the past Iwould have given an excellent review, the latest consignment was a little disappointing. The majority of the length of wool was fine the last quarter in most balls was knotted and disjointed which was obviously very annoying”
