Generally good but yarns do have knots it where wool has been joinec

Hi Erica, We’re sorry to hear you've not had a good experience when using our yarn. We endeavour to use the highest quality products and always do our utmost to minimise faults in our yarns. Knots are a direct result of new threads being joined together when the yarn is being spun. This may be because the thread broke, or it might just be where a new cone was joined - it’s impossible to make a continuous piece with no ties at all. If you are unable to use the whole ball of yarn due to knots, please get in touch with our Customer Service team who will be able to assist you further. Kind regards MY Team

I was disappointed to find that the first yarn I used had snapped in at least three places, which I didn’t find out till I had started. I had to undo all of what I had knitted to begin again without any joins in the wool!

I am not happy with Marriner as despite sending an e-mail immediately after placing an order but forgetting to use code for tote bag and receiving no answer to that and a further e-mail and still no answer I received my wool order but no tote bag. I received an e-mail after telling i cold receive the tote bag if I placed anther order

I ordered from online shop & it never arrived. I sent an e Mail to ask why it was sent out on a two day delivery so when it arrive safely I was chuffed to bits. I ordered super chunky to make a tree skirt with . Beautiful yarn, well packed a free jute tote bag and small pack of haribos . Lovely.

Bought this double knit wool for my mum to knit me a hat. However she is disappointed with the quality and find it splits easily

Same batch same shade but different colours. Contacted customer service was sent reply but passed around. Not happy this time I’m afraid to say. This was resolved sending a replacement ball. However the handling of the issue was very poor. I have reviewed and added a star to be fair.

Very easy to order, well packaged and good delivery time. Two thirds of my order was perfect but the rest of my wool was a lot thinner so I was unable to use it for the purpose intended. I emailed them about this but to return it for a refund I had to pay postage which wasnt worth it as it was only 3 balls so made it in uneconomical. If this hadn't happened I would have left 5 stars but I've now lost confidence in ordering again.

Very quick order turnaround and delivery , colour and feel good , Haven’t used most yet but the cotton look ,was very prone to fraying . Good value but not sure would buy again

Hi Sue, we state on the website that all our patterns are in DPF format. They can be printed out or worked from on screen as some customers like because they can enlarge the print. Kind regards, Caroline Marriner Yarns

Delivery within the 10 days as stipulated. Haven't used the wool yet as it was only delivered today, therefore I can't comment on quality.

My order took 10 days to arrive which I wasn't impressed with. Was this maybe because I never had to pay for the postage!! Or maybe the wrong postal code was used.??

I really love the yarns, but the dispatch time of my order was late and when you want to get cracking with your knitting this isnt helpful. Infact I had to email to ask where my order was, to get it dispatched. If the yarns were dispatched daily as stated, then that would make all the difference to my review.

I ordered orange yarn a few weeks ago but when it came its was a reqlly red orange and did not match the picture on the website at all

Having looked at your order, I can see that you ordered the shade Spice which is a burnt orange shade and this is how it is illustrated on our website. Please note that due to the individuals monitor settings, some colours can look different and this has happened before. If you would like, we can send out a free brochure for you. I ordered the pink/blue 4ply cone to crochet a jumper. The colours were brighter than I expected and also had green in. I did not like the way it was crocheting so I began again and am now knitting a jumper. I do not like that there is so much green in it so not sure I will carry on, I may have to rethink what I use it for. So quite disappointed on this occasion.

I belong to a knit and knitter club and we have a person who orders the yarns for us. Due to Covid we have not met up and I have two blankets that ran short which also coincided with your shortages. Couple of things, none of the bands have the colour written on them and so I had to order two in order to get the right one. Also I didn’t find your website the easiest to use but perhaps that’s just me. Love the yarn, nice on the fingers and just as good to crochet with.
