“All was ok but 6.30 am delivery to my customers house wasn’t on sorry”

“Placing the order was easy and straightforward. Delivery was excellent. My only issue was the quality of the skirting. I had the option of both primer and an undercoat but considering this was MDF I was expecting a very smooth finish. However, in parts it was extremely rough requiring it to be rubbed down. Not good when it was already undercoated.”

“While I am perfctly happy with the product, I was most annoyed that I was charged for delivery. Skirting World caim to deliver free to 95% of the UK. I live in Central Scotland, 15 miles from Glasgow. I bought the same product 2 years ago and had free delivery. I was not given a satisfactory explanation from a phone call.”

“Pleased with the quality of the skirting I ordered. Not very impressed with the delivery process or customer service. My order was delivered five days late and when I phoned to enquire where it was, the person who answered the call was very vague about why I hadn’t received my order when I had received an email telling me it was on its way.”

“Took a little longer than expected to arrive. Courier started unloading blocking the drive. When I asked him to move it he wouldnt and sped off at a dangerous speed. I have the registration number.”

“I ordered the skirting boards and asked for a call on the day of delivery as I needed to be there to fit same day. There was a mistake made with there processing meaning the order didn't go through which I understand mistakes happen however when I asked to hold while I re scheduled my work to fit around them the skirting was sent out on and arrived on a day I specifically explained I couldn't be there. Some of the skirting had some chunks missing out of the moulding too. Apart from that it was all good 😊”

“The order was as expected, although some scuffing on the skirting board - presumably due to abuse in transit; and minor damage to a couple of bits of the trim I ordered. This is the second order I placed with SW, after the first one came in good condition and on the date and time projected. In fact, there were several updates from the driver on delivery to narrow down the delivery time as he got closer to the drop. The second order came with the aforementioned damage and was dropped several hours before the delivery window I was given, signed for by the driver himself and left on the street in front of my house. Had I not checked my emails soon afterwards to see that the delivery had been made early and that it had not been left in a safe place, further damage or loss of the package is likely. I had to leave work to go home and put the package indoors. Very disappointed with the delivery, although I can't really fault the ordering process.”

“Purchased a window sil from here, delivery was fast even tho wasn't packaged very well so slightly damaged and also the choice of courier wasn't the best as they left it outside in the rain 🙈”

“Good fast turn around. Made changes and it wasn’t a problem. Will use again but Only thing was the bottom of the skirting board wasn’t painted, would be nice to stop the penetration of water if it’s on the floor.”

“Never came when it said. After waiting in all day for it. When called I was told driver was 20 mins away and then 1hr 30 mins later still no driver. Tried calling again but no answer. Called next day to be told would have to wait til the following week. Skirting itself seems good. Just a shame about the customer service”

“Product is fine. But they sent me an extra skirting the next day at the customers house and 6am and I called to re arrange pick up. And have still not been picked up. Guess it’s not your problem now”

Dear Ross, Sincere apologies for the delay in collecting the extra piece of skirting. Due to a high volume of orders it took longer than we aim for to collect. If you do do need to place another other with us, please get in touch beforehand and we can apply a manual discount to another order.

“MDF Skirting arrived primed and was extremely bobbly so needed to be fully sanded before use. Delivery was quick and easy mind you.”

“The skirting itself is good quality, straight and cut to the correct dimensions and turned up shortly after it was ordered. The undercoat I paid extra for has been applied very unevenly and barely at all along the top edge. The delivery driver turned up just after 7am, earlier than stated in the message. They didn't knock on the door, or ring the doorbell, instead they just dumped the planks on the path in the lane in front of our house besides my car. The skirting had no wrapping to cover or protect it, other than a 10cm band of cling film at each end to bind the planks together. Luckily the skirting was discovered shortly after is was delivered and had absorbed very little moisture from the ground and only suffered two minor chips along the top edge on one plank. Not impressed by delivery service.”

“The current MDF has lower quality than the previous used , it is competitive price that’s why we ordered again but when you used specific products you expect to get the same and is disappointing when you don’t . Unfortunately the delivery is actually 5 -7 days without any other options currently !”

“Unfortunately we were not entirely happy with the products we ordered. We paid a little extra to have them primed but the finish was very mottled, not smooth as expected. We had to work hard sanding them in an attempt to get near to a smooth finish but it wasn’t entirely successful. The price paid was very competitive and free delivery was excellent.”
