“I gave two stars as the one section (3.5) mtrs had two faults. On receiving item from driver I immediately saw damage to one end edge, I knew i could work around so I didnt need to send back or mention it to him. Whilst cutting and prepping it was only then I realised a factory forming mistake had been made. It was too late to report this as i'd accepted item and already cut to lenghths required. See pictures. profile misforming about foot long. damage to one edge. Item had no packaging not even shrink wrap.”

“I’m very disappointed using this company to provide a skirtings. I not only had to wait for order to be delivered quite a bit of time, but also they have sent it to the wrong address, not checking if the address matches the postcode so they just followed the postcode. After arriving at the postcode, I received a phone call from the driver asking what is the house number and the road name? While I was waiting with carpenter 35 miles away. So I had to pay the carpenter for the day of work, drive 35 miles, cut the skirting boards to the various sizes, load them to the van and the whole experience was a nightmare. I will never make that mistake again and stick simply to the local joinery suppliers as usual forever.”

“I ordered samples of skirting and architrave, they appear to be good quality however I was sent 1 incorrect item and 1 item was missing from the order. When I contacted customer service about this I got no reply. For this reason I would be hesitant to place a full order.”

“Paid extra for undercoating, but the paint finish was really poor with obvious dimpling and creasing. Job couldn't wait and so had to use it rather than return. Customer service apologised and refunded delivery and painting fee.”

“Very disappointed in the delay. It was only a sample but took nearly three weeks for delivery. Ie confirmation on 13 th, dispatched on 28th and arrived a few days later. It gives no confidence in making a full order.”

“The product arrived damaged. I called skirting world to also ask why the MDF wasn’t green identifying it as moisture resistant. Still waiting for the manufacturer data sheet to be sent to me that was promised on the phone call. Not happy with the service so far.”

“Disappointed in only 50% refund. All skirting is cut to order which is crazy considering how long it takes for ordered to be delivered. Usually a timber merchant has lengths shelved and picked ready for delivery. Dissapointed they couldn’t deliver the new skirting I ordered, when they travelled all the way up to Wigan to collect the wrong profile.”

“The person fitting my goods has opened the pack this morning and sadly there are a couple of faulty area's, so I am not overly impressed. Fortunately we need just two full lengths so we should be able to work around the chipped bits. I won't be able to tell until the job is near completion.”

“The skirting was fine but the clown that delivered them needs to work on his delivery skills! I’m disabled and only have one leg,I do use a prosthetic limb but I have difficulty walking still and this idiot couldn’t even be bothered to ring the doorbell to ask where we wanted the lengths of skirting! The two lengths of skirting were 4.2 metres long and heavy but he just left left in my passage way across the front door ! I had to ring a friend to come and move them as they were way too heavy for my wife to lift as well as myself so I wasn’t very happy at all. I did ring to complain and the guys said he’d ring the driver to claim back but he didn’t answer which tells me he knew exactly what he’d done so again the man is a complete idiot !!”

“I ordered my skirting and architrave on 22/07 and paid for fast delivery, which states 3-6 days on the order form. The order arrived on 30/07 causing delay to the start of the project. When I raised this with Skirting World by email, they falsely stated that the order arrived on 29/07 and the fast delivery option was ‘working days’ which it does not say on the order/delivery options page. After I sent proof of delivery date (their own email to me!) they continued to ignore my emails. Not good at all.”
