Product is good but ordered and paid extra for quick delivery to be told that they didn’t have a van in the area so would deliver the following week instead. To me this screams that although I had paid extra for quick delivery, I hadn’t paid enough to make it worth their while. The order was nearly £600 so I felt they could have made more of an effort to fit the delivery around the customer rather than putting the company first. I emailed the Sales Manager to ask for the order to be cancelled but had to chase this later in the week as hadn’t heard anything. If you offer speedy delivery for an extra cost this should be available otherwise it’s not speedy delivery, it’s paying extra for you order to end up on the same run than it always would have been on.

Was really disappointed with this company. Placed my initial order on 5th June but hadn't ordered enough MDF. Went to place another order only 2 weeks later and the price had more than doubled! Think an email warning customers of such dramatic price increases should have been sent out. Asked them if they would honour the price from my initial order and was told no. I was then told I could have the item delivered within 3 days for a small charge. When they read out my total it seemed very high, asked him to confirm the delivery charge and it was £45!! I dont know anyone who would class that as a small charge. I changed back to free delivery which arrived in 3 working days and the delivery driver was pleasant. Although my initial text told me the driver would arrive early am so I took the morning off work, when he didn't show up I went on to the email tracking and the time changed til afternoon so then had to take that off aswell

Sent faulty board wrong size and wonky at one end then sent a replacement wrong again, no refund of the peice offered

We were advised delivery would be between 5.47 and 7.47am. It actually took place at around 12 on the same day. we received notification of the change after 7.47. This caused very considerable inconvenience. The delivery driver was cheerful and helpful when the delivery eventually took place to a bleary eyed customer. Please provide more accurate delivery times to future customers (which won`t include me).

Order that was sent out was the wrong length. I ordered a 4.2m length of window board and a 2.4m length was delivered. This has put me 10 days behind on fitting.

we ordered 7 samples altogether including skirting and archetrives and only recieved 1 skirting sample and not the rest

Product was very roughly machined and the texture of the base coat applied was very dimply / orange Peely, leaves a very poor finished product, disappointed.

Gutter to be fair as 3 of the 4 3m lengths had the end blown out and I needed the whole length ,as I’m in the train I’m guessing from the cutting

Didn't get delivery notification until into the evening before - saying delivery from 06:09 the following morning. Delivery was actually made at 05:28 and unwrapped white Dado rail was left on the ground outside house. I know it was 05:28 because driver left the cab door open so the street could hear the radio and just to make sure we knew he'd been, the van doors were slamed shut.

Not very happy. I ordered a sample which didnt arrive for 2 weeks....in the meantime i had ordered another sample from another company which had the same measurements and was what i needed. However, i went with Skirtingworld because Skirting world offered the option of getting it with an undercoat. I ordered the skirtingboard cover which arrived fine. One day after everything was delivered the sample arrived!!! and i am now really worried that things will not fit properly, since the sample is not like the sample from the other company, even though measurements are supposed to be identical. I understand i should have maybe waited for the sample, but i waited over 10 days and never arrived and couldnt imagine there would be differences with exact measurements in mm. Now i am just hoping that the sample from skirting world is not right....and the acual skirtingworld will be fine.

I have ordered from you before and had a great experience, so I decided to use you again.. But this time on the day of delivery (Friday) , I was told the driver had rang in sick just hrs before my delivery was due , which meant I had already booked a day off work to accept delivery but unfortunately this was wasted.. I was then told the delivery would be coming the next day (Saturday) same time.. I already had plans that day, so I asked older relatives to be in at my house to accept the delivery, . In the end the delivery was four hours late which is not great, considering the house is empty with no heating or running water and my elderly relatives had to wait all that time And because it was a Saturday, your offices are closed and could not answer any calls to let me know any updated information So I’m a bit disappointed this time around

Unfortunately I had a poor experience because the timber was unusable due to knots having fallen out leaving holes and the machine planing was faulty in several places. The good experience is I took photos and emailed them and made an imediate follow up phone call and received a refund

Ordered the incorrect amount for a job so needed to order an additional length, instead of ordering 4.2m I ordered a 3m length as only needed 2. Ordered the same chamfered edge skirting. Delivery was a whopping £27 for 1 length. More expensive than the actual item. It was for a job so I had no option, the chamfer was specific to match up. Delivery arrived 3/4 days later and the skirting profile was different, I'm not sure if this was because it was the shorter length but the chamfered edge was about 10mm longer than the previous ordered sections. When I measured the new profile it turns out my local supplier sells the same thing, I could have saved myself £27. Worst part was my customer wanted me to fit it, if delivery wasn't so ridiculous in price I would have order a replacement but asked for the right profile. My only advice order everything at once and extra. 3m oak stair handrail from stairparts delivery = free just to give a comparison in pricing

Unfortunaltly the skirting board does not match mine. The picture on website looked the same. But it was not, despite the height and width being correct. I think the website needs more details to help match up. Otherwise the service was very good. The skirting I ordered is no use to me.

My biggest disapointment was that the skirting was shipped wrapped only in cling film,so by the time it arrived the top edge was battered. In the end I had to use car body filler to make good. Lots of extra work down to poor shipping
