“In store staff very helpful - no issues there but terrible service with delivery. We were advised on purchase that due to busy period there would be an approx wait of 2 weeks for a fridge delivery. Date of 11th Aug given. We accepted this. We followed instructions for defrosting, emptying, having appliance in an easily accessible area and due to its location we had to employ help to move it as it was not easily movable (small area and possible door removal needed). We are 75 + yrs old. We did this on 10th Aug and then got a text that afternoon saying delivery would be on 16th Aug - 5 days after the agreed date. No apologies. We phoned the supposed customer service helpline 3 times only to be told it was a busy time - that was known from the ouset and should have been factored in when specifying a delivery date. We were told that any possible resolution would be within 24 hrs!! We r now faced with no fridge for 5 days in temps of late 30s degrees - or putting fridge back with help and bringing out again for new delivery date. Totally unacceptable. The inconvenience is enormous. Media Markt/ Public - you should be ashamed - never again.”

Der Mehrwertsteuer-Rabatt "...Super Spar Bowl..." grenzt schon an eine betrügerische Aktion !
a) Es wird behauptet, dass die bestellte und bezahlte Waschmaschine bereits bei mir installiert ist (was föllier Quatsch ist)
b) Mir wurde bereits zweimal versprochen, dass mich jemand deswegen zurückrufen wird
c) Heute habe ich noch eine Email erhalten, dass diese Waschmaschine von der Auktion auschglossen ist .. (Heute) Am Samstag rude es mir telefonisch zugesagt UND ich hatte die Waschmaschine mit den 19% Rabatt im Warenkorb.
Fazit: Unseriöser Laden ! mit einem Kundendienst der anstatt Problem lösen lieber den Kunden anlügt und sich nicht zurückmeldet.

“I ordered online a Gaming chair for my son on Black Friday, this chair had a big discount and was available in many other big stores in Greece for the same discounted price. Its status at the time of order was available and it was intended to be a gift for my son's birthday which is 10 days after Black Friday. After waiting for 1 month and following up many times the status of my order, I received an e-mail which simply said that my order was cancelled and that i got reimbursed the money I paid. I replied to the e-mail with a complaint but did not get a reply and called several time to complain, but the response was: "sorry that was a mistake but we cannot do anything about it".
The price of that chair was 250EUR on discount, its current minimum market price is 400EUR. I was able to get it from any other online shop for 250EUR if i didn't buy it from MediaMarkt.
My interpretation for what happened is that MediaMarkt creates fishy fake deals just to show that they have competitive market prices.
I am sharing my experience in order to save other customers the bad experience i had with these unprofessional people.”

“zondag een bestelling gedaan bij mediamarkt, er stond bij "in voorraad" en "levering binnen 1-3 dagen". ONMIDDELLIJK BETAALD. Dinsdag nog steeds geen bevestigingsmail. “I am waiting for over 1.5 month for a refund, which I have not yet received. They never called me or replied to my e-mails. I have called over 13 times to their call centre which only says "we sent an e-mail to the responsible department". MediaMarkt steals you money. Stay away from them and choose their competitors !!!!”

“Shockingly dreadful experience
On 4th September we purchased an LG 43UN700 IPS monitor from Media Mrkt Spain online and collected it on Monday 7th from their Valencia shop in Calle Colon we paid €536.
We were very busy having just moved house so actually didn’t open it to set it up until Saturday 12th. We already own one of these at our home in the UK so we were familiar with the process and its specification.
On sliding it out of the box and removing the sleeve we could see the screen was cracked very badly all down the left side. We immediately raised a return request and received confirmation of collection from our home dated 14th September, unfortunately this never happened they just didnt turn up so we then took it back to one of their outlets as the return online form stated.
They immediately accused us of breaking the monitor. According to them there is no way it could have been broken in the box so it must have been us. This was absolutely not the case. It was definitely like that in the
box and definitely not broken by us due to mishandling. They have refused point blank to deal with us any further. They were so rude and aggressive it was unbelievable.
We took it to another store but they were just as rude and aggressive just walking away from us and dealing with other customers.
It would take too long to detail the rudeness of the staff and the way they accused us of breaking the monitor without evidence ... it wasnt even unpackaged and still had the wrapping on it but according to them nothing can ever be broken when it is collected.”
“Purchased a new fridge which failed after 3 months, have visited the store on 5 occasions to try and resolve this issue without any success. Will try once again but based on my experience to date don't hold out much hope. By far the worst customer service I have ever found. If you buy from Media Mart then hope you don,t require customer service it does not exist unless your a Spanish national.”
