On 11/19/2025 I had an appointment with the provider, Elizabeth Hagen. After a very short talk about my ADHD which was the reason for me seeking mental health, she said that she would start me on medication. I uploaded all needed documents to the MEDvidi portal. After 2 days with no information (I was supposed to be receiving an email from Quest diagnostics for a urinalysis), I reached out to MEDvidi. They said they would contact the provider. This was the pattern day after day of me reaching out to them, they saying they would talk to provider, never ANY communication back to me. On 11/30/2025 in the portal, it finally said prescription preparation. I waited a day and on the second day contacted them (this is 12 days after my appointment) and they finally informed me the provider was waiting on an ecg from me. They could not tell me this in the previous 12 days? I provided it and continued to wait. This was the last time I ever got any feedback to my treatment. I continued to use the portal chat (barely ever an answer), emailed over and over (NEVER have received an answer), and calling (which always got me someone that was of no help) until today, 12/12/2025. I paid $195 for 5 minutes of discussion with this so called provider, and still here I sit, a week shy of a month later, with no replies, no medication, nothing. I want my money back, and I want my records from them and I want ALL my information deleted from their records. I have already sent emails about this but no one has responded. I want my money returned to me immediately. They are taking advantage of those seeking mental health assistance, charging them and then doing nothing. They should be investigated. I am FAR from the only one they have done this too, and I am well within my rights to make sure to tell my story far and wide, as it is the truth. The truth still matters. I have had little sleep, unbelievable stress, anger, sadness, and disruption to my everyday life. They are predators.

Hi Todd McGuire, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand how frustrating and stressful this situation has been for you. Your concerns are important to us, and we take them seriously. After reviewing your case with the provider, we want to clarify that the prescription could not be issued because the required drug screen through Quest Diagnostics was not completed. Instead of submitting the official test results, photos of urine samples were uploaded, which cannot be accepted as valid documentation. Due to this, the provider is unable to proceed with treatment and has recommended discharge from care. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or delays throughout this process. If you would like to request your records or discuss your case further, please let us know, and we will make sure your request is handled promptly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we wish you the best moving forward. Warm regards, Janet| MEDvidi Patient Support Team

My Dr, Willie Talbert, sent my prescription in incorrectly and it has been over a week now still with no resolution. The pharmacy keeps mentioning there is something wrong with his DEA license number… very sketchy. I’ve requested a manager call back multiple times and never received one. I pay $160 for a literal 3 minute appointment, and then get 0 minutes of effective customer service / problem resolution.

Providers Were Great, But Administrative Staff Are Noncompliant and Disrespectful. The providers I met with were great. The visits themselves were pleasant, straightforward, and to the point. Unfortunately, dealing with the staff outside of those visits has been awful, and the way my medical records request was handled shows just how noncompliant and disrespectful this company is. I faxed my HIPAA medical records release form on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, and received confirmation that it was delivered. On Friday, September 26, 2025, I was contacted by text from Medvidi and told to resend the form. That is when I learned that the fax number printed on the form itself is invalid. I was then forced to redo the form digitally and email it in, only to be told that my records would not be released because my signature did not match the one on my driver’s license. For context, my license signature was created in my early 20s and consists only of my first name. It makes no sense to deny records on that basis, especially when my full legal name, date of birth, and government-issued ID are all available. The portal itself lists my date of birth incorrectly. If my DOB on my license or on the HIPAA form had not matched, that might justify denial. But the error is in Medvidi’s own system, not mine. Instead of correcting that, they ignored the real identifier error and blocked me over a decades-old scribble that has nothing to do with verifying identity. HIPAA’s right of access rule requires providers to release medical records within 30 days. Identity can only be verified using reasonable identifiers such as full legal name, date of birth, address, phone number, email, or government-issued photo ID. Nowhere in HIPAA does it permit denial of access because a signature does not match an old driver’s license scribble. Even Medvidi’s own HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices does not say that records can be denied for signature mismatches. By creating this barrier, the company is both noncompliant with HIPAA and in violation of its own posted policy. The customer service has been equally unacceptable. On September 26, 2025, at 4:16 PM EST, I called and was told the records team would contact me in one hour. No one ever did. In an earlier call, I was hung up on, and when I called back, I was immediately placed on hold and ignored. Messages sent through the portal went unanswered. Emails went unanswered. The company texted me but refused to accept replies. Communication was one-sided, inconsistent, and obstructive. I was even told to “fix” my digital signature so that it would match my driver’s license. In other words, I was asked to alter or forge my own signature to make their process easier. That is absurd. Adobe is a digital platform, and it is physically impossible to reproduce a decades-old scribble exactly. Expecting that is unreasonable, unprofessional, and insulting. The lack of urgency and poor communication also directly affected my prescriptions. For example, my ADHD medication was delayed because by the time my request was finally relayed to a provider, the pharmacy was already out of stock. That is not just inconvenient—it is harmful and dangerous for patients who rely on timely access to medications. Finally, after all of this, Medvidi sent my records without apology, without acknowledgment, and without taking responsibility for any of the obstacles they put in my way. Delivering the records in silence, as if nothing happened, is not resolution—it is a dismissal of how badly I was treated. This entire process shows a lack of accountability, respect, and professionalism. It reflects poorly not only on the administrative staff but also on the providers who rely on them. The way this was handled is disgraceful, noncompliant, and will be documented accordingly.

Hi Cicely, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced during your medical records request. Our team follows HIPAA-compliant protocols to verify patient identity before releasing records, which includes checking signatures along with other identifiers such as date of birth, address, phone number, and email. In this instance, the forms submitted initially did not meet the signature verification requirement, which caused delays. These steps are standard practice to ensure your records are released securely and safely. We understand that the delays impacted your prescriptions, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Please know that your feedback is valued, and we will continue to review and improve our administrative processes to provide a smoother experience for our patients. If you need any further assistance, please reach out to us directly at help@medvidi.com Kind Regards, Jane|| MEDvidi Patient Support Team

I subscribed to a semaglutide prescription program through Medvi. After receiving the first shipment, I was charged for a second shipment that was never delivered. I checked my Medvi patient portal, which showed no tracking number and no record of the second shipment. After multiple follow-ups with customer service, they eventually sent me a tracking number. However, this tracking number turned out to be false—there was no package associated with it, and it was not connected to my account or order. I provided evidence of this, but their team dismissed my concerns and has since stopped responding. To date, I have received no product, no accurate tracking information, and no refund. This appears to be a clear case of charging for a product that was never shipped and misleading the customer with false delivery details.

Hi Unhappy Customer, This review appears to have been posted to the wrong company profile. We would like to clarify that MEDvidi and Medvi are two completely separate and unaffiliated companies. The experience you described, including the semaglutide prescription program and shipping issues, does not relate to our services. At MEDvidi, we do not offer semaglutide programs, nor do we provide shipment services of any kind. We kindly ask that you remove this review from our profile and repost it to the correct company profile so your issue can be properly addressed. We appreciate your attention to this correction. I paid for my appointment and had it for today at 9:30am with Willie talbert. After we talked for awhile he went on to say he would send in my prescription when we are done with the appointment. Needless to say nothing has been called in. It’s been 8 hours since I had the appointment and nothing. I’ve called the customer service line multiple times and all they say is he is filling it in the next 30 mins. I’m going to have to file something with the better business bureau cause all they did was steal my money. I paid for services to be rendered and none were…I expect a full refund and this company to be looked into cause this is just shady business! I have other online dr for other meds and never had this level of disrespect and how they blow me off.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. This company operates with zero accountability and consistently fails to deliver on basic promises. After paying $159, I never received my medication—no follow-up, no resolution, just silence. When I reached out for help, they had the audacity to demand another $159 for a five-minute appointment, rather than fixing their mistake. This wasn’t a one-time issue—appointments were constantly rescheduled without notice, and doctors routinely failed to show up, wasting my time and forcing me to leave work for nothing. This isn’t just poor service—it’s borderline fraudulent. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this operation at all costs.

Horrible customer service. 3 scheduled, paid for appointments where provider was a no-show. Medvidi will not refund your payments even if provider is a no-show. Had to do credit card dispute. Good luck with calling them, they never answer the phone. Buyer beware. Plenty of other reputable providers

David Okonkwo had the audacity to tell me I was NEVER on Adderall, despite the fact that my profile clearly shows I was prescribed Adderall multiple times by my recent doctor at MedVidi. It’s right there in black and white, yet David Okonkwo either didn’t bother to check or deliberately ignored it. I paid for this appointment expecting real medical care, but instead, David Okonkwo completely dismissed me, disrespected me, and acted like my medical history didn’t exist. This is beyond unacceptable. I demand a full refund immediately or a different doctor who actually knows how to read a patient’s profile—because David Okonkwo clearly doesn’t.

Can never get a call back and everyone I speak to over the phone tells me I'll be getting a call back, its been a month, 11 phone calls and 16 in web chats and 23 emails. I am being completely ghosted. They claim their phone system doesn't allow transfers (what kind of archaic phone system doesn't have the ability to transfer a call??). I asked the company to remove my email from their database as I have asked them to stop emailing me, their only response is to "unsubscribe" I have unsubscribed and blocked multiple times and I still get emails coming through. They claim they cannot remove my email due to HIPPA (yes they used the incorrect acronym, shows how compliant and knowledgeable they are), but an email address is not considered PHI and does not need to be kept for 5 years due to HIPAA (this is the correct acronym, might want to inform your staff).

My experience with this company fell far short of my expectations. I encountered several significant issues that impacted my treatment: Missed Appointments: The doctor missed a total of 8 scheduled appointments with me. This caused considerable disruption to my schedule and delayed my treatment progress. Medication Delays: On multiple occasions, my prescribed medication was unavailable at the pharmacy. Each time this happened, I had to contact customer service, where I experienced long wait times and unhelpful responses. It typically took an additional 3 days for the medication to be sent to the pharmacy after these calls, further delaying my treatment. Misleading Information: During a phone call with customer service on [Date of call], I was incorrectly informed that I could not see a doctor until after my current medication ran out. This contradicted my understanding of scheduling policies and created unnecessary confusion. These repeated issues resulted in a gap in my treatment for almost a month. I am deeply disappointed with the level of service and communication I received from MEDvidi.

God awful service. Wait time on the phone is at LEAST an hour. Practitioners do not care for patients in the slightest. I have never dealt with this level of disregard and disrespect in a clinical setting, and that's saying a lot. Having a large patient load is not an excuse for what amounts to medical neglect. As a practitioner in veterinary medicine, if I were to ever speak to or treat my clients the way I was treated by Medvidi, I would be out of a job. I genuinely cannot believe how most of the practitioners could even get a job with their level of incompetence.

Scam. They have several physicians that aren’t credentialed and/or don’t follow the law in how they provide treatment. I had 2 of them and found out after that the prescription was no good because the physicians were restricted or otherwise prevented from fully practicing medicine. They did not refund my money and I never received treatment.

I have been with Med Vivi for over 6 months now and every month, it's something new. This month, after taking payment, they cancelled my appointment because they are requesting proof of my residence. I am and have been self-pay the whole time. Furthermore, I provided a valid passport and my medical records. I am willing to provide documentation according to policy. I requested to see the policy and still haven't received. They should have notified me the policy changes prior to accepting payment, especially since I have been with them and they message all other request (i.e., time to schedule or confirm appointment). Now they are saying 10-15 days refund. That's absurd!

I wish I hadn't. First off there are cheaper alternatives. They can't keep clinician so you think your meds are straightened out with one then the next one assigned to you changes it all up. I get that we go to these people for needed medicine but I can't wait to start going to a real in person psychiatrist who will truly listen to my unique individual needs and spend twice the time for the money with me. These are nothing more than new psychiatric nurses working under a real psychiatrist who doesn't see you so they can make a quick buck. Basically nothing more than 10 minute drug dealers.
