“Rug arrive quite quick but wasn’t that happy with the quality or thickness or should I say thinness of the rug. Seems cheap.”

“The first rug had a hole in it. They replaced it but the whole process took a while. The delivery service that they use is not good as you get less than a days notice when they are coming and you cannot even get a time slot, so you have to be in all day.”

“Hi, we were attracted to your lovely website because you have an excellent variety of very different rugs. Our rug arrived quickly and it's lovely in so many ways but feels a little flimsy. It's starting to curl at the edges a bit. I guess we were expecting a heavier thicker rug but we will keep it because of the design. It's very colourful with what looks like paint splashes as the design!”

“Long waiting time. Had to ask for some form of reward for waiting some considerable time for rugs to arrive. Rugs are good quality.”

“Nice rug but lighter in colour than expected. Would have been helpful to have cleaning instructions with the item as I now have grease marks on the rug and not sure what to use to remove them.”

“Disappointed at length of time for delivery on this item - it arrived on the last day of the advertised delivery window. On opening the rug it had a wet patch that I assume must have happened in transit and it was rolled badly - the first part of the roll had been done so tightly that after four weeks of lying flat it still has a ripple at that edge. On the plus side, this was on offer and was a very good price.”

“Delivery times OK but not world class. But my real complaint was that I was told the Mondrian Ivory was no longer available and my money credited. I was so disappointed but when I checked the site recently I see it is still being advertised as being in stock. I am so cross as I ordered another rug (much less nice) to replace it. So is it available or is it not? Very annoying!!”

Good morning Jill. I have checked on our website and due to site having under gone some maintenance some rugs which have need discontinued have been put live again.. this has now been rectified and although you can still see the image you can not click on the rug to order. Sorry for this confusion

“Very happy with the rug but the delivery service was poor. Paid for a morning delivery but after several frustrating calls with UPS didn't arrive until mid afternoon. Asked for a refund on delivery charges from Modern Rugs but was told to take it up with UPS. Poor service.”

good afternoon With regards to the delivery we can confirm the delivery was late but i am not sure who you spoke to at Modern rugs but we do pride ourselves in being fair where any service has not been adhered to. We would agree to refund a delivery charge if the service selected was not achieved we will be in touch with you to find out exactly who you spoke to as this is something that our staff should be telling our customers

“Their is line like a crease line s couple of inches from one end of the rug which will not disappear. Apart from that the rug is of acceptable quality bearing in mind the price. Delivery was very quick.”
