ordered a rug on Thursday. Phoned following Wednesday as delivery stated 2-4 days. Item was not yet despatched from warehouse 6 days later (Wednesday.) Company then informed warehouse to despatch also offered a refund but not an answer as time taken to credit bank account. DELIVERY DOES NOT INCLUDE WEEKENDS BUT WORKING DAYS !!! this was not stated. This has put me off on-line purchasing. Next time I will go to shop, pay and leave with goods.

Design is very good and colour as well but all the time wool comes off when i hoover i thought will stop after some days but still not stop. Dont like it and its already 14 days so cant return as well. Not happy

Not very hard wearing came with a scag noticed another scag first week the corner fabrics come away from the corners i havnt had it that long no pets to ruin it either and i use it indoors only, theres also mis colouring in the one diamond

The rug is fine but the service was terrible. When ordered the website said it was in stock, then a few days later I got an email to say it wasn't in stock and was given a new guaranteed delivery date, then this happened again so had a very long wait for this item. It would not be so bad if they did not take your money immediately you place the order, they should wait until they dispatch the goods in my opinion.

I had to chase to find out when I would take delivery of rug, when received it was not the quality I expected considering I had paid a considerable amount of money. I checked with them online and provided photos and they advised to leave for a few days and it would settle down, and provided me with photos of what look's like another rug as it was a different colour. Rug not much different overall, quality is poor

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Our rugs are stored rolled up in their plastic wrapping to ensure they stay in brand new condition. This means that they may not lay completely flat when you first unroll it. This is similar for example to when you by a new shirt or a pair of curtains which will be creased when you first take it out of the wrapping; but whereas these items can be ironed flat very quickly rugs take a little longer. This is not a fault with the rug; it is only temporary until the rug takes to its new shape being rolled out. The more you use and walk over the rug the quicker it will flatten out. This can take anything from a few days to a few weeks depending on the type of rug you have purchased. You can sometimes speed this process up by rolling the rug in the opposite direction to the way it was rolled in its packaging (pile outwards) and leave it somewhere warm (such as near a radiator) for 24 hours. I ordered a rug which arrived damaged. The company then agreed to collect it from me for return. Then I was informed that the rug was discontinued and could not be replaced. Modern Rugs are still advertising a rug they don't have!!!! Not at all impressed!!

This response relates to the person who took my call. I ordered a rug in the Internet and followed up with a phone call to ask about delivery. I explained that I would not be in to receive the rug until Friday as I was away. I was advised that their deliveries were sent out on Thursdays so my rug would be received on Friday or Monday. I subsequently get email from UPS on Wednesday saying they will deliver on Thursday!! Such a simple request you would have thought.

The order number associated for your review is for a sample that was sent with royal mail 1st class, not with UPS. this means that if it was dispatched on Wednesday it should have arrived with you on Friday. Lovely colour kite runner, looked smart to start with but disappointingly it has started to pull in places, which I have never had a problem with, with my other brand of jute rugs, in far more high traffic areas of the house. (This particular rug lives on the landing where the spare room is, so barely used) not able to upload the picture.

Not as thick as expected and very slippery. When walked on you can feel the bumpy material at the base of the rug. Very disappointed considering I paid £90 for it.

Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear your rug doesn't meet your expectations. The polar range has a long soft pile, however, is not the densest of piles. We do a rug named Montana which is similar in length and colour but is much denser giving a fuller body and more luxurious feel. Our rugs are packaged tightly in thick plastic packaging to ensure they remain in brand new condition for delivery. They should flatten out naturally upon un-rolling. With regards to the colour difference, we do try to get the images as accurate as possible through the use of natural daylight photography however we will review the image on our website and update if needed. Ordered 2 rugs one rug took 2 months to arrive the other rug took 4 months to arrive,would not recommend this company very disappointed

I'm actually on the fence about my purchase. It looks great but I would put it in 'large mat' territory rather than call it a 'rug'. I own rugs. My recent purchase is a few mm thick. It's a mat. The customer service was great, refunding my delivery charge when DPD delivered on Monday not Saturday, but I thought I paid for a rug (by definition is 'thick material'. I would advise everyone to ask for thickness as well as width/length.

Customer service not good, i was told all rugs were at least 10mm thick which is not true, my rug although fabulous pattern and colours it was very thin and i had to get a special padding for underneath, they refused to believe that i had rang them and asked about thickness as i could not find this in the details unless you scroll right to the end of the page,not a pleasant experience!

I ordered a rug from this website, but when the rug arrived it was a completely different colour to the one on the photos. Not even slightly diffferent shade, a totally different colour. When contacting them I was told I could return the rug, but at my own expense.

Rug took 4 months to arrive, whereas on the website it said 3-5working days. They don't check their suppliers stock levels (China). Once we received the item, we were happy with it.

Unfortunately not good delivery service. I paid extra to have a Saturday delivery, made arrangements so that there was always someone at home on the day indicated by the courier....and then the rug arrived on the Monday afterwards. Luckily my neighbour was at home and kindly accepted the delivery (they weren't obliged to of course). The courier was obviously uncontactable throughout this whole saga. Don't pay extra for Saturday delivery - it won't happen.

Although we are happy with the product the false advertising regarding delivery dates is a shocking way to operate a business. I placed my order when I was told it would be in stock on a certain day for the item to then be out of stock for another 2 months Really poor
