Very pleasant service from modern rugs but delivery by ups was terrible said they had called when they hadn't took 3 attempts and calls to their customer service people before rug was finally delivered then it was 1 1/2 hours late told by driver the van had broken down even though as I tracked item they said they had tried to deliver at 10.30 am a blatant lie as I had sat awaiting delivery. I paid extra for delivery before noon but wish I had not bothered service extremely poor. Valerie Binns

Nice colour perfect size but rolled it opposite way to stop it curling at each end and the backing cracked now showing a line on the right side shame

The photo was not entirely representative of the rug I received. It had lots of shiny strands that make it look far more childish than the photo advertised, however, the money to return it was not worth it. It is a soft rug and seems good quality it’s just a shame that it didn’t meet my expectations in terms of appearances.

The rug is fine but delivery very poor as although 7day delivery quoted on line it took over a month to deliver as out of stock. The web site should be updated once items are not available and stop advertising the same rug on your website once you are aware you do not have it in stock.

I ordered my rug and it took modern rugs a week to let me know it was out of stock and that was only after I called to find out when it would be delivered. I then had to wait a further 6 weeks for it to come back into stock. The rug is exactly as it looks in the pictures, but I’ve eaten thicker pancakes! It’s extremely thin, and curls up at the edges. Had I known how poor quality the rug was I wouldn’t have purchased it.

I purchased a lovely rug from modern rugs. But it took a couple of months to arrive after being delayed. It was said to be in stock when I ordered it so I was not expecting this wait. When it did arrive a bottle of stain guard was attached but had opened and leaked saturaging one end of the rug. It did dry and didn't leave any marks (but I did not benefit from the free bottle of stain gaurd as it was mostly gone) However the rug is of good quality and was a reasonable price

Excellent service, will use the site again; the particular rug didn't prove to be as nice in real though, mostly in terms of colours/pattern and finish.

I have ordered two rugs which were out of stock and it took several days before I was notified of the problem. My second choice of one of the rugs I am very pleased with. The other one will not be in stock for six weeks not sure yet whether I want to wait

The rug wasn't as thick as I had hoped. It took awhile for it to stop curling up on the ends .I had to put something heavy on top and I had it upside down for a week

good rugs, good site and good response. However I was told my rug was out of stock until 29/3, I was going to choose another rug only to be told today 18/2 its on its way!

Annoying that the rug was listed as in stock on the website when I placed the order but wasn’t and arrived more than a month later. In these circumstances I think payment should only be taken on dispatch not when the order is delayed so heavily. However communication was good and I love the rug.

The problem is that each of the rugs advertised innthe catalogue proved to be out of stock. Whether this is a -articular instance or a business plan which involves odering st0ck according to specific demand is hard to ascertain.

I returned the rug as the colours didn’t look as bright as seen on the website But saying this , the rug was good quality It’s a shame that a big company like Morden rugs asks you to pay for returning an item This would be fine if it was a small item but a rug is obviously costly to send signed for delivery

Returning a hall runner like the one you purchased should be relatively inexpensive as it can be sent with Hermes or Royal mail for around £5.00. We do offer free delivery for every order. Communication with status of order delivery wasn't good, had to phone to find out and no alerts given on delivery day/time. Lucky I was at home to receive as it actually arrived 2/3 days earlier, which meant I paid an extra £20 for a Saturday delivery, which was rather annoying...should have requested refund on special Sat delivery, but never got round to it?
